Jake growled and refused to let Rosalie take his sword. "No, we both fight. I will not be seen as a coward. This may be a sickness that makes time precious, but you are more precious to me than Life." Jake's tone was stern and just like Rosalie's. Rukiea ran toward thw group and stopped a few yards behind them. She quickly jumped into a tree and watched over. "Jake, don't die. I know i am defying your wish, but it must be done." She whispered as a tear escpaed her eye. |

Ooc: Sorry I wasn't on. I had a friend spend the night and I have to cram for a test that I had in a few days. =P bic: Leita glowered at Rosalie but when the army started to come and the two started to fight, she sighed impatiently. "You two are crazy!" She told them. "Fighting over who gets to risk their life fighting and who gets a chance to escape! You both must be suicidal! Especially you Jake. You're dieing but you still think you can fight! Use common sense and get out of here alive! You still have a chance to live but if you try to fight now, it will most certianly end with you dead!" She nearly shouted and she never shouted! She knew she wasn't really mad at him for wanting to fight but for the attention he was giving Rosalie. "Leita, calm down! Yelling isn't exactly going to help us right now. Just take a few deep breaths. I doubt that anything you say-er yell- is going to change his mind about fighting." Sam said, laying a hand on her shoulder. He felt bad for her, truely he did. He knew that the way Jake talked and looked at Rosalie bothered her deeply but it might not even matter a few minutes from now. They could all die! |

((Its okay. Hope we didnt get too far for you...)) Jake turned to Leita. "I'm sorry." He quickly turned back and ran at the army. His sword was drawn. The only thing movin ghim foward was the surge of energy he had gotten from fighting with Rosalie. Rukiea saw Jake and couldn't stay back. She somehow resisted and jumped down. She ran back to Jay and told him everything. |

Ooc: Nah, I got caught up pretty easily. Bic: "Rukiea, calm down." Jay said after she explained what happened. "It'll be fine. Jake's a good fighter and he'll live through this. Besides, the others will never let him die." He told her, taking her face between his hands. "I told you once and I'm telling you again, everything will be fine." Leita fought back angry tears. He was going to kill himself all because he didn't want to look like a coward. Clenching her teeth, she turned away. "Go help him Sam, I can't do much. I only have my daggers and they won't do much in a hand to hand fight. Please just go help him and make sure he doesn't die." She said, still fighting back tears. Sam gave her a pitying look. "I can't guarrentee anything Leita and you know that but I'll do my best." With that, he drew his sword and started to run after Jake. |

Rukiea hugged Jay as comfort. "I'm worried. I have no idea how long it will take for whatever he has to kill him....." She began to sob. He red eyes dulling to a very deep red. Very dark from her usual ruby red eyes. Jake began to fight guards. He dodged, took off heads, and even just stabbed people. This is not going to kill me. Rosalie, Jay, Leita, Sam, and Rukiea. They help me and never let me down. I can't do much, but i can definetly not die and fight. Tears ran down his cheeks as he began to think about what each team member did for him and how he had treated them. Especially Jay. |

Jay quickly put his arms around Rukeia. "Don't think like that. He won't die. The others won't let him. Hell, he won't let himself die! Not with you in the picture. He doesn't want to do anything to hurt you so he won't let himself die. He will come back alive. I promise." I can only hope I'm telling her the truth. Sam quickly joined the battle and it wasn't long for him to get into it. His mind cleared, he focused only on killing those who attacked him and his group. He thought of nothing else. It was the same in all of the battles he's been in. |

Rukiea felt like believing Jay, but she couldn't. Not yet. She had to make sure. "Jay, i really dont want him to die, but what if he does. What if the team can't do anything about it." She looked up at Jay. Tears streaming from her dulled red eyes. Jake stopped slashing and dodged. He couldn't keep fighting. This is too much..... Jake looked around as he dodged. "Too Many...." He stabbed here and there, but thought of a way to get out. Jake felt something at his back. Dagger. It didn't stab him, just kept him like a hostage. No guards tried to kill him. They just stood there. Jakes eyes returned to gold. |

Sam glanced around like he normally did and something caught his eye. Blocking a blow with his sword, he peered through some of the soilders and saw Jake with a dagger to his back. What the? he asked himself. Why aren't they killing him? Jay thought fast. If he paused for too long, Rukiea wouldn't believe anything he said. "If," He started, putting emphasize on the if, "If that happens, then you will do exactly what he would have wanted. Mourn for a day or two then move on and overthrow the King. He wants you to be happy, no matter if he's dead or alive. And if he dies, he would want you to do everything in your power to get rid of the King and live a happy life." |

Jake's eyes narrowed. "Kill me if your going to....." He held his sword tightly. Rukiea wiped the tears and stood up. "Your right... Hopefully, i dont need to mourn..." She kissed Jay's lips. |

Jay smiled. "No, I don't think you will need too." Sam made his way towards Jake. Some soilders were still fighting, some where staring at Jake. "What's going on?" He demanded when he stood in front of Jake. |

Jake pushed Sam to his knees. "Don't... They will kill you." He moved so the guards with the dagger wouldnt strike his baclk. He did the same to Rosalie, only he told her to get on her knees. "Look, just go back. I can handle this..." His voice sounded like it was weakening. They needed a few miles to the border. Rukiea smiled at Jay. "Hopefully...." She looked over her shoulder to the door. Jake, Sam, Rosalie, Leita, please be okay. |

Leita turned around as soon as Rosalie ran off. Her eyes popped open when she saw who had arrived. Without any heistation, she whipped her daggers out and set off at a run to see what was going on. "How do you know him Jake?" Sam growled the question. Ooc: I'm sorry. I went out of town yesterday. |

"We grew up together.", Zane said slowly, "We were good friends..." "Zane!, Mallik barked, "You are alligned with these traitors?!" "I said we WERE friends. We got in an argument and nearly killed each other!, Zane somewhat shouted back at the king. Zane looked over to the captives and gave them a sympathetic look. They didn't yet know that the punishment for treason is death either by hanging or the guillotine. Poor Rosalie... Zane had a slight fancy for the girl...
