"I just want to know....", Rosalie grumbled. Mallik smirked sadisticly at Sam's awnser and asked, "So, where's your hideout? I bet the others are dying to see you. Oh, and the boy is correct. You are all to die at sun-up. I'm still not sure if you are to be hanged or put through the gillotine..." Zane looked on in horror. This can't be happening... "Everyone hates you, father!", Galin thought, "But do you kill us all for treason? Do you slaughter every kern? Murder every pesant? These were the first people to take action... My old friend is dying already... He needs to get to the border..." "Sir, may I escort these Traitors To the dungeons?, Zane asked. "No.", Mallik replied, "Take them to the Crypt." "The crypt?! But don't you think-" "The Crypt!, Mallik barked. "Yessir..., Zane mumbled, "Follow me.", he told about eight knights. Each knight grabbed one of the prisoners' arms and roughly dragged them behind Zane, who flashed them an apologetic look. |

"Ow!" Leita gasped, stumbling when a guard grabbed her. She glared at Zane then the King. We're too late. There's no chance we can overthrow him now. Well, not us but Rukiea and Jay still have a chance. The Vipers will live on...Hopefully. "What's the Crypt?" Sam asked loudly as the guards escorted them. |

Zane looked back at Sam and replied, "It's like the dungeons... But it's more of a catacombs... I'm sorry... We're almost there..."
Zane stopped his horse at a tunnel that led underground. He dismounted, walked inside, and waved for the knights to follow him. Rosalie shuddered when shesaw where she'd be spending the night. Coffins were everywhere. In slots in the walls, on shelves, and randomly scattered on the floor. When they reached the main cavern, she gasped in horror. There were four cells. Each had at least five coffins situated in it, and eachhad an iron gate that could only be budged with a key. The knights threw each prisoner into a different cell, locked the gates, and left. "Zane... Why do you do this?", Rosalie asked, reaching through the bars twoards Zane. "Orders are orders... I'd find myself with you if I disobayed... I'm sorry., Zane said, and with that, he left. |

"Damn." Was all Sam said as he sat down. Leita sighed. "What are we going to do now?" She asked the others. "Does anyone have a plan? And why is Zane sorry? I thought he and Jake had a bad fight and weren't friends anymore."

Jake sat on the floor and growled. "Yes. It is true. But I hated him too much...." He coughed out blood and continued to look around. Rukiea, Jay, im sorry. Jake got up and walked around. He paced, knowing that all he could die any moment. He coughed up more blood and wiped his mouth. Jake smirked. "Well, Zane wasn't all that bad after we fought. We saw how badly we injured each other. We ended up being friends. But when he heard that I hated his dad, he sent guards after me." He looked back to the day he first was reunited with Rukiea. He had bumped into Sam. Rukiea ran out the door and check the spot once more. Her eyes widened adn dulled when she saw the horror of bodies, and he brother missing. She ran back to Jay. "Jay!" She shouted out og breath. "They have been captured.!" |

"Zane has changed since than...", Rosalie said, "Hee hates his father as well, nowadays... Mallik is constantly verbally abusing and beating him... Poor Zane was extatic when I offered him the job of reporting Mallik's secrets to me... He had found a way to get back at his malicious father..."

Jake growled and spat up more blood than he ever had. He wiped the blood on his mouth and sat down. "Great, now I am going to dye in a crypt. This is the bestv possible place for me to die." He growled. Jake sat on one of the coffins and looked at the team. He sighed. |

And if he and the others were caught, you could get caught too." "It'll be fine." Leita said, though not conviningly. "We still may be able to get out of here." |
