Zane's eyes widened as he said, "Uh, I was just teasing Rose... She totaly likes Jake... That's why Shay tried to poison her.. Shay thinks that if she can't have Jake, nobody can... Shay acctually had the missthought that Jake liked Rosalie! I almost laughed at that..." |

Sam just shook his head. "The problem is I think Jake does like Rose. Either way, it's not going to be pretty when he has to chose between the two of them, that is if he lives." He sighed. "There has to be a way. Rukiea will kill us when she realizes we let Shay poisin him."

Rosalie awoke, hearing Sam shout that it was too late for Jake. She walked over to Jake and thew her arms around im, no longer caring. "I love you, Jake...", she whispered to him, tears escaping her eyes. "Don't wake Rosalie up!, Zane hissed, his eyes dulling. Jake would die, and it was partly his fault. |

Jake fell back again and mumbled to himself. "Damn it SHay..... Someone get Rukiea." Rukiea burst through the door. She was out of breath, but she looked energized. Her usually gold eyes were deep red. They flared with anger that pierced into Jake as he looked at her. He's never seen her eyes ever revert to this color. "What...... happen....." She said through clinched teeth. Her sword was in her hand and she scanned the room waiting for an answer. |

Rosalie looked up at Rukiea from her position on the floor and said, "Shay poisoned Jake, and tried to do the same to me.. It was too late by the time I realized that she had put poinsettia leaf in our medications... If you're wondering, I have a feaver..." Roslie was very red in the face, you could clearly tell that she was not feeling wel. "Jake, did you even hear what I have said? I have told you something very importaint to me...", Rosalie whispered to Jake.

Jake smiled. "I heard every word you guys have said." His eyes dulled to a dark gold. Rukiea walked over to Jake and looked in his eyes. She knew he had moments to live. "Damn you...... Shay....." Rukiea stood up and growled. "Who let her do this?" She looked around the room at all the people there. Her dark eyes lightened a little. Sorrow began to fill her heart and now, her eyes. She clunched her sword and raised it to Zane's throat. "Did you let Shay do this?" Her gold eyes retruned. |
