Jake opened his eyes a little. The gold color had faded to a brownish color. "Listen to me... I'm fine. I fell hot though....." He began to sweat from his head and began to turn a little pale. Rukiea undid the bandage on Jay's wound and cleaned it off. Once clean, she wrapped the new bandage on his wound. "I'm thristy... want something?" |

"I'm good. Are you sure you don't want to go back over there? I know you are still worried about Jake." Leita placed a hand on Jake's forehead. "Jake, you are not alright. You're burning up. Something's wrong. Just rest until Zane gets back with Rukiea." |

Jake sighed. "You guys think I'm still a child. The new one of the team who needs to be cared for eveyday and needs to be watched closely....." He placed his hand over his eyes and tried to rest, knowing he would upset Leita.
Rukiea left Jay and went to get herself a galss of water. "Now, where was that glass......" She seached everywhere and fianlly found a cup. She reached for it and it cracked. "Eh? Another broken galss?" She turned around and faced Jay.

"Rukiea!", Zane shouted running into the room, "Rukiea! Jake needs you! He's not feeling well... He fainted, and his temperature is through the roof!"

Rukiea picked up the glass, but when Zane told her what had happened, she dropped it on the floor. It shattered into many pieces and one piece stabbed Rukiea's leg. "W-what!!!" She was angry and her eyes flared to the dark red it had been when she was first over with Zane and the others. She growled. "H-how is th-this possible......." She truned around. "Jay! I'm leavin gonce more...." She returned to Zane. "Come on, let's go!!" Rukeia darted out the door pulling Zane behind her.

Zane ran with Rukiea, amazed at how fast she was. "Rukiea, we kinda overshot the cabin...", Zane exclaimed when they passed a small, log building where the forrest ended.

She wasn't paying attention until she fell over a cliff with a waterfall. "AH!!!!" Rukiea clutched the edge and looked down. "Whoa, I need to pay more attention.... ZANE!! HELP!!!" Rukiea tried to climb up but ended up getting scratched from her knees up to her head. The scratch on her sheek began to bleed. The blood dripped and showed how far down the fall was.

"Oi...", Zane groaned, pulling Rukiea up over the cliff. "Be more- Rukiea! You're all cut up! Now I wish that you had hit the cabin instead...", Zane continued, unceramoniously pulling a rag out of his sack and wiping some of the blood off of Rukia's face.

Rukiea swatted at the rag. "I'm fine Zane, really....." She wiped the blood with her shirt. She panted and hugged Zane. "Thank you very much." She let go of him and stood up.

"Welcome...", Zane said, finding the hug lightly awkward, since Rukiea and Jay were apparantly together. "Rukiea, we must be getting to Jake..."

Rukiea nodded. "Right. And I could tel the hug was awkward to you, but it's okay..." Her eyes again, went to dark red. She began to run to the cabin.

Rukiea bursted through the door. "Jake! What happen?" She asked. Her eyes gettin glighter as Jake's dulled.

Leita walked over to Sam and they began to talk quietly. "It has to be the poison." Sam said. "It can't be anything else." "But Rukeia gave him the cure for that! What if it something completely different?" Leita shot back. "If it is something different, then we had better hope Rukiea get's here quickly to help him. If not, it's possible he'll die." Sam's remark left her silent and they both glanced at the door right as it burst open. "Rukiea!" Leita said, "We aren't sure what happened to him." |

Rukiea looked at Leita. "Oh, i see......" She walked over to Jake and [laced her hand on his forehead. "He's burning up......" Rukiea sighed and listened to his heart. Sounds fine.... no poison.

Rukiea shook her head. "No poison... He's got a fever and that's all..." She smiled and whispered into Leita's ear. "Take care of him... I gotta go back to Jay." She pushed a needle into Leita's hand. "Give this to him later on..."
