Rukiea looked at Leita. "I'm fine.... It's just a bite...." She looked out the window and sighed. "Sam's right, but I can't help but worry." Jake looked at Rosalie and stood up. "Can you ever follow what I say. I want to be alone....." He stepped onto the ledge of the cliff and looked down at the water below. Clear and blue. No sharks, eels, or anything harmful. "You wana follow? Then go ahead...." Jake smirked and jumped off the edge, his sword in his hand. |

Rukiea laughed and smiled. "I guess your right Sam. I'm not much of a friend to Jake, but I guess I gotta respect what he wants and does." She stood up and went to the window. Her eyes fixed on the sky.

Rukiea smiled. "Yes, at least every once in a while." Rukiea felt a sudden chill run down her spine. No, not again... I need a galss..... Rukiea franticcally looked around for a glass. She found on and reched for it. It cracked and this time, shattered. "No...."

"Jake!", Rosalie cried out, alarmed. She ran to stop him but it was too late. she laied flat on her stomach and peered over the cliff. "Rosaalie just shouted something... Must be in trouble!", Zane said, standing up.

Rukiea quickly turned around and her eyes filled with tears. She dropped to her knees and tears began to roll down her cheeks. "No.... That's impossible..... You gotta be k-kidding me.... J-Jake...." She buried her face in her hands, muffling the sound of her cry. Jake looked up at Rosalie and merely smiled. He looked back down and saw the water approaching. Hopefully I did this just right.... He looked around and saw the trees he had while standing above them. He reached ouit his hand but missed the branch and ended breaking him hand from hitting the limb. "Damn it all," he said as he hit the water. SPLASH!! He ended up making a huge splash in the water. |

"JAKE!", Rosalie screamed, nearly throwing herself after him, "No! Jake!" "Rose! Are you okay?! Is Jake- No... He didn't...", was all Zane was able to say before falling to his knees beside Rosalie. |

Leita ran after Jake. "What happened?" She asked as she came up. Looking at the cliff she groaned. "You've got to be kidding me." "So glad no one listens to me." Sam grumbled as he followed the others slowly. |

"He tried to catch a tree branch... He was joking.... He smashed his hand, breaking it on the tree branch, and he pluumited into the water... Jake... I came out to tell him that he could choose you.... that I was going to find someone else...", Rosalie stammered, still looking down at where Jake had fallen.

Sam put an arm around Rosealie. "It's alright Rose, everything will be fine. Don't blame yourself, none of this was your fault." Leita shook her head as she looked down. "I can't believe he would be stupid enough to try this. Sam or Jay, yeah them I would believe but not Jake. There has to be something we can do to help him!." |

"You're right.", Zane said, standing up, walking to the edge, and swan-diving into the water, searching for Jake, or what was left of him. He found his friend, almost dead, near the bottom. Zane grabbed Jake's arm and dragged him to the surface, than pulled him onto the lakebed.

Jake's head came outa the water. *Huff huff* "Ngh... My hand is throbbing....." He said to himself and looked up to see everyone looking down. Just what I need... More people. He groaned and swam to shore with one arm. He scrapped the shore and dragged himself onto the shore, flopping down. Breathing heavily and feeling weak. Rukiea looked down at Jake and began to sob. "Damn it all....." She bent over crying. Her arms were on the grass and her head resting on the grass. "No way..... He's not t-this stupid....." She began to cry and couldn't control it. |
