Jake grew angry. "I was so close to killing my life long enemy!!" He stood up and unsheathed his sword. "I don't wana kill my own sister, but this is what must be done to kill both of you..." He shrugged and ran at RUkiea Rukiea quickly unsheathed her sword and the two swords clashed. Rukiea's strength matched Jake's, but she still had that gold twinge making her a little less powerful. "Jake, don't do this to the VIpers. Your a member of a family and organization...." She began to feel Jake overpower her. No way..... I can't go full red. No matter what. Zane is my first priority..... Jake smirked. "Come on Sister... GO full red and you can save Zane if you can keep your Sanity...." He pushed his sword harder and began to overpower Rukiea. "See what I mean, looks like it's guna end here and now. For both of you...." Rukiea gasped and quickly changed her eyes full red. The two strengths matched again. "No, i will now let you kill me or Zane... He is too important to the Vipers and me. He is a friend. COme on Jake...." She gave Jake a quick punch to the face and grabbed Zane's arm. She wrapped her arm around Zanes waist and his arm was over her shoulder. "Zane, stay with me okay... I'm guna try and get us out of here..." She began to run with Zane limply being dragged behind her. Jake fell back once more and growled. "Rukiea, you forced me to do this!!" He sprang ot his feet and began to chase the two. "Your slowed by Zane. Just drop him and you can run quicker." He smirked and began to catch up.

Zane's eyes opened when he felt himself being dragged through the forest. "Rukiea, leave me and save yourself... If Jake has to kill me for him to regain sanity, than so be it. As long as you and the others are safe.", he said calmly, casting a glance backwards at Jake, who was catching up quickly. "Rukiea, if you don't leave me, than both of us will die. It is better me than the both of us."

"Shut up Zane... I can't leave you behind. With the little Sanity i have left right now, let me save you. Once I go full red, I will be able to move quicjer, but I don't want to leave you behind. THere is no reason to." She looked back and her eyes widened as she saw Jake catching up. "Rukiea!! Let Zane go and you can escape no problem. Keep him with you, and i'll kill you both." He was almost close enough to Zane to where he could grab his leg. "Zane,say goodbye to the rest of your life..." He smirked and reached out for Zane's leg. Rukiea saw Jake and quickly grabbed a tree branch. She flung herself on with Zane behind her. Rukiea looked down and saw Jake hit the tree face first. "Stupid kid. Full red gets you power and speed but not smarts. You should have known this trick...." She hopped down and began running again, still dragging Zane. "Zane, why would I have left you when I had a way to save you and me." Rukiea stopped and rested Zane again a tree. |

"Because, if you left me, you'd be gueranteed to get away. Jake's not after you, he's after me.", Zane said, dusting himself off and moving to stand next to Rukiea. "Leave me here... I don't want us both to die. It's better that you escape by yourself... I don't want Jake to defeat you. Than, there will be no one to protect Rose, Leita, and Sam from him. You know how true my words are.", Zane said softly, placing a hand on Rukiea's shoulder gently. ((I think Zane's falling in love with Rukiea! XD)) |

((Haha, go ahead. Rukiea just might fall for Zane... X))) "No way am i guna leave you to fight with Jake. I'd rather die protecting my friends, then have a friend die when i leave them." Her eyes changed back to gold and she looked at Zane. "Just trust me. We will both live and Jake will calm down. Plus, we have some time. Jake hit the tree pretty hard, we should get moving though." She grabbed Zane's arm and began to walk the direction the group was heading. |

I've been thinking... My death would have destroyed many lives, including yours and Rosalie's. She would have gone over the top..." |

Rukiea smiled. "Yes, i am the nicer of us too. But that's only because i can willingly change my eye color. Jake's eyes are based on emotion. And if you would have died, i would have gone full red and killed my only brother." Rukiea walked with Zane and watched the horizon. "Zane!! The cabin thingy!! Look!!" She pointed to a small triangular shape coming out of the horizon. "We made it and your still alive!" She smiled and hugged Zane tightly. "I am so happy i did one thing right!" Jake woke up and his golden eyes bl
ink a few times before he had realized what had happened. "Oh ya... I went full red. Better get back to the cabin..." He stood up and began to walk back the way to the cabin. |
