Rukiea shuddered. "Oh damn, i forgot. I'm still with Jay. He loves me and i still have feelings for him." Rukiea stopped walking and looked at the sky overhead. "Pr- I mean Zane, what am i supposed to do? I mean, i love you, but I have Jay. Rosalie can have him, but what will he think of me when he finds out i love you?" She looked at Zane. Jake smiled. "well, since i'm not a natural red-eyed boy, i can clearly say that Rukiea loves Prince Zane. She looks at him like she looked at Jay. But, what about Jay? Rukiea will have to choose one or the other. Wonder what she'll do." |

Rukiea looked at Zane. "You mean gold?" She thought for a moment. "I was born with gold eyes. Naturally they were brown but the color lightened as i got older. Now they are just gold. Jake's eyes are still his natural black." She sighed. "This is guna hurt someone...." Jake looked at Leita. "Ya, your right. But Jay could be with Rose and she wont leave. Right? But Rukiea will figure something out..." |

He got the eyes when my dad was dying. My mom took some liquid out of my dads red eyes and put it in Jake's eyes. Jake developed the "eyes" but he has to watch his temper or he will become... well.... what you guys saw back there." Jake sighed. "That's true. And i really think Rukiea may choose Jay cuz she loved him first. She told me, the day we had joined the Vipers, "One day, i think Jay may love me. and if he does, i'm never guna love another man...." At leat so she says...." |

"Well, in our family, if the male of the house dies early, his oldest son got his eyes. BUt since our older brother was killed, Jake had to get the eyes. He didn't want them, but when he saw how well i was with them, he said he wanted to beat me at it."

Should we look for rukiea and zane or leave them?" jay raised an eyebrow at rose but said nothing. His mind was reeling, hoping what they said was a lie and wondering what he would do if it wasn't. sam shook his head as he took a seat.
