Rukiea sighed. She hugged Zane tightly. "Zane.. What if I choose Jay over you? I mean, i loved him for the longest time and i loved him since I entered the Vipers. Plus, your royal blood. I'm nothing but a mutt.." She looked at Zane's eyes. Her golden eyes fading to a dark brown.

Jake yawned. "Damn.. This is going to end in a heartbreak. Rukiea was always such a good Viper member.. But.. Never any good when it came to this kind of thing." His black eyes lightened to a bright grey. Jake put his hand to his head. "Oh ow..."

Leita gave him a confused look. "What is it? Why did you just say ow?"

"You guys do realize I'm sitting right here and can hear every word you are saying right? If you are going to talk about me, at least do it out of my earshot." Jay said grumpily. 

Zane gently placed his hand on Rukiea's chin and whispered, "You're no mutt, Rukiea. You're better than I, or any member of my family, was or ever will be. And it is up to you who to love. I will respect your decision, eve if it breaks my heart to do so."

"What if you were intended to hear it?", Rosalie shot back with fire in her voice, "It's not like you're being al that respectful either. If you can't believe your oldest friends, than who can you trust?"

Ooc: I think we've all improved. Except for my last post. That kinda sucked. XD

Bic: Jay opened his mouth, about to shout something back. Instead, he let out a sigh. "You're right, I should trust you guys and I do. With my life even but when you are saying something like this, it's hard to believe it. I guess we all will just have to wait for Rukiea to return to be sure of anything so let's just drop it for now."

Rukiea looked at Zane. Her eyes dark brown. "Zane.. Your so sweet and gentle. I mean, i really have fallen for you. I'm a bit scared that if I choose you, nobody will like me. If I break Jay's heart, i'll feel bad, but Rosalie stays. If I choose you, Jay will be heartbroken and I can't bear to see that on his face." She kissed Zane's lips gently then put her head on his chest. "I dont know what to do..."

Jake looked at Leita. "M-my eyes... They said this is going to happen.. The full red-eyed baby. I'm not a full-bred red eyed child so my parents said that I should soon get the powers. But my head hurts so much." Jake put both his hands on his head.

"Fine with me.", Rosalie said, less agrivated this time, with a tinge of softness in her voice.

 "Go with Jay. I'll be the only one to truly be affected by that decision. Rosalie wouldn't leave; not in her current condition, anyway. She has Sam she can go to, if worse comes to worse. I'll probably never get over it, but from being the king's son, I've learned to repress my feelings. I'll be fine. You were with him first, and I'm sure he'd be devastated if you were to choose anyone else.", Zane told Rukiea, placing his arms around her gently, "I'd never be able to forgive myself for taking you away from him."

((Sure. I dont mind. Will Zane stay with the Vipers??))

Rukiea looked at Zane. Her eyes a dark brown. "I'm so sorry Zane.. I truly do love you and i love Zane. I'm so sorry for choosing Jay. Maybe, maybe you can stay.. I wouldn't want to drive you away. I want you to stay. I dont want you leaving just because I choose Jay. And i'm always going to love you, but love Jay just a little more. Trust me Zane. I love you oh so much." She smiled. Her eyes brightening,

Jake looked at Leita. "Leita! I'm just as powerful as a natural born red=eyed child..." He smiled and his eyes flickered red.

 Zane smiled and replied, in a slightly pained voice, "Than I will respect your decision. I will remain with the Vipers, for there is nowhere else I can turn to. I will forever have a place in my heart for you, and if you ever need me, I'll be right here." Releasing Rukiea, Zane began on the trail back to the Vipers headquarters. (Rosalie told him where it was) "Coming?", he called behind him, dissappearing into the forrest.
