Jay leaned back in his chair. "So. Now that we are done fighting, how about telling me what happened in detail. All I really know is that Jake is still alive and this Zane guy was almost killed by him." "We could tell you but I'm sure it'll be easier to tell you when everyone is here. Not to mention that I'm pretty lazy." Sam said from his place against the wall. Leita grinned. "Jake, that's great! So now will you stop comparing youself to Rukiea?"

"I agree with Sam, we should wait.", Rosalie said, nodding, "Rukiea and Zane may have encountered something, not to mention that we have no idea where Jake and Leita are."

Rukiea looked at Zane and smiled. "Of course." She ran quickly to catch up to Zane. Her head stil spinning from her whole ordeal. She knew she did the right thing.Plus, Zane will be there if me and Jay ever fight or break up. I can trust this prince. Her eyes lightened to gold once more. The sunset reflecting from them in a golden red. "Zane, are you truly okay with this?" She looked at his eyes and put her hand on his shoulder. Zane looked at Leita. "Yeah. I should stop doing that." He carried Leita and tossed her on his back. He began walking back to the hq. "Hey, thanks for stayign with me. I was kinda being really stupid." |

Rukiea's red eyes filled with tears. She's never had anybody sound so irritated with her. Her mind went blank and she opened her mouth to say something, but merelly choked. She put her hands to her throat and tears rolled down her cheeks. She began to run back to the Viper HQ. Tears falling behind her as she ran. W-why Zane?! Why did you get mad at me!! She shut her eyes and in that time, she ran right into a tree. She fell back, p*censored*ed out. A small cut on her forehead began to drip with blood.

"Oh, crud, Rukiea!", Zane exclamed, running up to her when he saw his friend hit the tree. He picked Rukiea up, and gently carried her back to headquarters, wordlessly entering. "What happened?!", Rosalie demanded, gaping at the sight of her friend unncontios and bleeding in Zane's arms. |

Rukiea felt the blood drip from her forehead. She refused to open her eyes or speak a single word. Her thought were all jumbled and she could feel the tears coming back. She fought them back and opened her eyes. They were red with tears and her brown eye color replaced her red eye color. She rolled out of Zane arms and ran to Jay. She wrapped her arms around his neck and sobbed in her shoulder. Jake yawned and walked into the HQ, still carrying Leita. He looked at Rukiea, Zane, and Rosalie. "What happen?? Why is she crying?" |

"No idea.", Rosalie said, shrugging, "Ask Zane." Zane frowned, a sad, hurt look in his eyes. "I need some time to think.". He said, "I'll be back by tommorow, don't worry." And with that, he left. |

Rukiea looked at Zane as he left. A pained look in her red eyes. What did i do to deserve all this.. What did i ever do?! Tears streamed from her eyes as she watched Zane leave. Jake sighed. He put Leita down and ran out the door, tackling Zane. "Oi, tell me what happen?" |

Zane shouted with surprise as Jake tackled him, and replied, "I didn't do anything! She kept asking me if she should choose Jay or me, I told her to choose Jay, and she kept asking me! It's like she wanted me to get mad at her! I wasn't mad at her for choosing Jay, I was mad at her for asking me repeatedly if she made the right choice!"

Jake's eyes flared red. "Well?! And you didnt help her out?! You refused to even comfort her when she was getting sad?! Why didn't you try to even help her out?!" His rage appearantly showing. Jake stood up and grabbed Zane's shirt collar. "You know what.. I can't understand why my sister would even like you.. You just yell and make her cry!" He dropped Zane. "If you never come back, I'm going to find you. And i will drag you back. I know Rukiea will cry her eyes out if she ever thinks she drove you away." He glared at Zane.

"I didn't comfort her because she ran into a tree!", Zane protested, frowning, "I want nothing more than her happiness, I love your sister with all my heart! But if you love something, you have to be able to let it free. She obviously loved Jay more than I."

Jay wrapped his arms around Rukiea, making comforting noises. "Shh, it's alright. Just calm down, everything will be fine." He looked towards Rosalie, indicating towards the spot where Zane had stood, asking with his eyes who that man was. Leita looked around the group, everyone was there except for Jake and Zane. "What happened?" She finally asked, looking at Rukiea crying. "Did we miss something really big?"

Rukiea held onto Jay tightly. Her eyes red as rubies. She began to only sob and clutched Jay's shirt. "i-i'm stupid...." She cried and hugged Jay tightly, not wanting to let go. Her heart torn in half by Zane and Jay. But Jay being the one she loved so much. Zane.. i'm so sorry. "And how the hell do you know she wan't lying?! How do you know she didn't love you more, but felt bad for choosing Jay first?!" His eyes a deep red with anger. "If you dont come back in 24 hours. I'm going after you.. Just so my younger sister can be happy." |
