Sam sharply turned his head towards Rosalie and shook it, instantly regretting that movement as his head started to pound. He pleaded with his eyes for her to stop talking. What are you doing Rosalie?!? Don't make things worse for yourself! The guard gave a bitter laugh. "What's it matter? You will both be dead in the morning!"

Rosalie looked into Sam's eyes and said, "I felt the same thing for Jake and Jay that I now feel for you, but what I feel for you is much stronger. I will protect you as much as I can. I hope that you remember that tomorrow at dawn."

Jake growled and ran up behind the guards, slashing away their head. Blood splattering on him as his faced the last guard. The one poking Sam and Rosalie with his sword. "Realse them.. Now.. Or you shal meet the same fate they did."

The guard froze and turned to face Jake, but instead of surrendering, he came at the boy with his sword. "Jake.", Rosalie sighed with relief, glad to hear a familiar voice, and not another guard. That must have been his knife earlier. |

"Damn you..." Jake came at the man as well, but as he reached the man, he slid under the guard's legs and stood up behind him. He panted from all the anger he let out on the first guards. Jake dropped to a knee.

The guard whirrled on Jake, using the cintrypical force to swing at his neck. Meanwhile, Rosalie had sat down beside the knife in the ground, resting her leg and severing her bonds at the same time. When the rope broke, she pulled the weapon from the ground and cut the ropes on Sam's hands as well. |

Sam watched from the sidelines with mixed feelings. On one hand he was unhappy that he was unable to fight also, to protect Rosalie better. But on the other hand, his head was killing him right now and he knew there was no way he would have put up much of a fight. Sighing, he watched as Jake dropped to a knee. "Come on, get up and finish this already." He muttered under his breaht.

Jake blocked the sword with a throwing knife and plunged his sword into the man's chest. "Always remember never to trust your enemy even if they seem like they have given up." Jake stabbed the knife into the guard's head and pulled his sword from the man's chest. Jake held his side and fell to a knee again. "Heh, i got too excited."

Jake nodded and smiled. "I'm fine my side hurts a little bit from all the swinging around i did. And i slid under the man so it kinda hurt.."

"Nice fighting, although stabbing the guy in the head and chest was a little excessive." Sam said, slowly coming to stand by him. "Well, we should probably get out of here and fast. Someone was bound to hear the fighting."

Rosalie nodded, taking Sam's hand and letting him pull her to her feet, careful not to place too much pressure on her hurt limb. "I'm as ready as I'll be for now. There's no time to waste resting."
