"I'll be fine as long as you are close by. According to the others, you are the best healer for miles. Besides, I feel perfectly okay. Like I jst woke up from a nightmare, to find myself in parridice.", Zane said softly, knowing that when Jay decided to realize what was going on, he would not be verry happy.

"I don't think anyone can help me with that, Rukiea", Zane laughed, "Just help me into a chair, and I'll be fine. Whatever that potion was, Robbert, it did a very good job of healing me. Thank you."

Rukiea nodded. She felt somewhat responsible forwhat had happened to him. If she had followed him and dragged him to a safer place, he wouldn't hav gotten hurt. She grabbed his arm and wrapped it aroudn her shoulders. She stood up and pulled Zane with her. She walked to a chair and pulled it out. She set Zane in it. "Better?"

"Yes, much better, Rukiea, thank you", Zane said, looking up at her. "Jake, how are the others?" he asked, trying to take the focus off of him, "Do you know how Rosalie and Sam are doing, how she's recovering?"

Jake looked at Zane. "She is recovering rally well. They are both fine after I saved their butts." He smiled. "But we are more concerned about you." He smriked. He was going to give Zane all of Rukiea's attention. Even if i was only beacause he was hurt.

Jay was watching the two with slightly narrowed eyes. When did they become so close? He wondered. But he shook his head, he could trust Rukiea. Just in case though, he needed to let something else catch his attention. "Something happened on their way to Sam's?" He asked, tearing his eyes from Rukiea and Zane to focus on Jake.

"Like what happen to Zane..They were captured by some guards and Ihad a bad feeling about something so i ran off to find them. They were tied like Zane was and I killed all the guards.." He smiled. Rukiea felt a pain in her chest. She knew Jay was probuably getting upset so she backed away from Zane and looked at the floor. |

Zane watched Rukiea back away and his heart sank. He knew, even though he loved her and would do anything to win her heart, Jay had her first, and he probably always would. "It's good you rescued them." he finally said, "But why don't you and Jay go and check up on them? I'm asuming that they're probably at Jake's, because of last night's events."

Jake nodded. "Yeah. I had to bring them to my place because it was the closet house beside the hideout but they might find us there so yeah. Jay, come on, I'm going to need some help with them They probuably woke up and I need to get them all some food. Please come with me." He smiled. Rukiea was looking at the floor. She was messing with her feet and stread some dust she found a cross the floor. She was not happy. She loved Jay and Zane. If only she could hav both of them... |

Jake nodded. "Come on LoverBoy.. Nothing will happen... Trust Rukiea..." He grabbed Jay's wrist and walked out the door. He shut th edoor behind them and began to walk to his house. He hoped Rukiea wouldn't do anything to upset Jay. Rukiea looked up when the two left. Her eyes filled with tears. She walked over to Zane and hugged him tightly. "i-im so sorry.. If i had not told you I loved you or anything.. I-if i didn't you would have been okay! This is all my fault!" She burried her face in Zane's neck. Her tears falling. |
