Rukiea laughed and she put her head on Zane's shoulder. "I really love you Zane. And I love Jay the same. But I can't let either of you go..." She squeezed his hand and loked at him. "I might choose you.... I'm stil unsure." She sat down and let her feet swing over the waterfall.

Zane almost screamed. She knew how much he loved her, yet she could still not decide. "This choice is a hard one", Zane said, not voicing his true feelings.

Rukiea smiled. "Si twith me.. Talk to me.. I want to know what's on your mind.. I know we love each other almost equally or one loves the other more... But i want to know how you feel." She smiled and held her hand up to Zane.

Rukiea nodded. "I know... You kno, I'm not doing this to decide.. I wana talk with you.. I just want to talk with you without feeling guilty that I may be cheating of Jay." She stood up. "If you don't want to believe me, then i should be going."

Rukiea sat once more and looked at Zane. "You know, I always saw you when you would ride around on a horse or something. I watched you from the trees in your garden. I had to spy on you guys to see if there was a way to get in the castle."

Rukieashook her head. "Nope. But i always found you different from all the other royal boys I had to spy on. They were all so mean and bossed everyone around. You just made decisions when you had to, not when you wanted. It was nice to seesomeone do that for a change."

Rukiea giggled. "I know. But it's kind of a habit of mine... I just don't believe that a Prince from a huge castle and a royal family could possibly fal for me. I'm nothing." She held his hand tightly.

Jay walked through the forest silently, occasionally glancing behind him. He couldn't get the picture of Rukiea and Zane out of his mind, about how happy they seemed when they were together. Eventually, he glanced at Jake and sighed. "Jake, Rukiea really likes Zane doesn't she?"

Jake looked at Jay. "Yeah, why? It's only because she feels responsible for hurting him. And because he helped us out a lot. You on the other hand, were in the hideout with a stabbed leg. I guess she just likes him. Why? Are you planing to give up on her?!" He shot a glare Jay's way. Rukiea nodded. "Alright. I could follow that. Hey Zane, what are you going to do if I choose Jay? I mean, I knwo you would support my decision, but what about when I choose? Will you leave us? Find someone else? Betray us?" |

Rukiea gave a small smile. "Well, I know you would stay. I'm just worried that once I have made my decision, the person who's left alone will not be my friend. Or our friendship won't be the same."

He shook his head. "No. Not yet. But I can tell that she is confused, like she doesn't know who she wants anymore. Until she decides though, I'll be fighting for her. Once she makes her descion though, and if it isn't me, I'll let her go, make it easy for her. All I want is for her to be happy and maybe Zane can make her happy."
