Jay smiled faintly. "It sounds really nice." He said, listening to her play. "But we should probably keep going to your cabin. I'm sure the others are wondering where you are by now." Sam glanced at the door. "Jake's been gone for awhile." He muttered. "If he doesn't get back here soon, I'm going to go look for him."

Rukiea still played. She swung her feet to the smooth rythm and let he waterfall splash her with gently sprays. She felt at bliss. She finally would let nothing get in her way of happiness. ____ Jake nodded. "Yeah, you know. She had lyrics to it. But she didn't share them. But i know she began to play those gr*censored* whistles because she loved you. You used to listen to her play them very often." |

Jake sighed and opened the door. "Hey, sorry i'm late. I went out but I ended up gettign into some trouble. I wasn't able to bring any food." Jake put his head down in shame.

Sam looked up as the door opened. "Hey Jake, we were just talking abbout you!" He jokes. "Well, it doesn't look like either of us will have to go out now." Leita hopped up and ran to him, throwing her arms around him. "What kind of trouble did you get into? You're alright, right?" She noticed Jay come in. "Why's Jay here?"

Jake looked at Sam. "She's playing her gr*censored* flute somewhere. I'm not too worried abou ther... She is a stong fighter and a strong girl.. She sis stay behind to take care of Zane. He was injured and she felt like it was her fault. But other than that, she'd probably be alone right now.." Rukies jumped into the water and swam behind the waterfall. A young man rode up on his horse. She looked on as he stepped into the water. Oh no... Please don't come over here.. Plz don't come over here!!! She got on her hands and knees. She tried her hair back and only from her nose up was visible. |

Zane saw the door of Jake's home and smiled softly, the pain of his injury still clearly there, but having died down significantly. He opened the door and walked into the cabin, where Rosalie, Sam, Jake, Leita, and Jay were wating. "Hey, guys." he said.
"Yeah, Rukiea should be-" Rosalie began, but was interrupted by Zane's entry. "Zane, they told us you had been hurt... What happened?" she asked, looking over at her friend.
"Jake and I had a little run-in with some soldiers." Zane said, not wanting to divuldge exactly what had occurred.

Sam sighed. "What's up with not wanting to tell us any details. So far, we only know that you guys were attack but everyone is fine. Can't you at least tell us where the attack was? It'll help keep everyone safe if we all know the details." "I think Sam's right." Leita spoke up. "If we at least know where you were attacked at, we can avoid that area for a bit or at least watch it closely. But we should at least wait a bit for Rukiea to come back and hear what she has to say. Zane, why don't you take a seat for now, those injuries must hurt."

Zane nodded and Rosalie helped him into a chair. "We were attacked at the base and one of the soldiets ran me through with their sword. Luckily, it didn't hit anything importaint. I'll be fine... Rukiea bandaged it with some of her special herbs..." Zane said, not looking Jay in the eye.
"Zane, you could have died!" Rosalie exclaimed, sitting next to Sam and gently leaning against him, "But at least I can say that at least one thing of importaince occured while you were gone."
