Shadow stomped her hoof on the ground and was growing impatient as they waited for the vet to arrive. Lily patted the stallion's side and said,"Hang in there,Red."

Secertariet lifted his head and opened his eyes. He then tried standing again and again, no progress was made. Rob walked out of the stall and closed the door. "If horses feel harmed while in situations like this, they may bite you or hurt someone. It's best to wait out here.." he explained. Finally Secertariet stoped and ended up leing on his side. He let out a loud whinnie and poped his head a few times.

Lily nodded as she followed and had to get Shadow to move her head so the door could be closed. Shadow walked to the stable entrance and was followed by Lily as they waited for the vet.

She talked to rob for a minnet and walked into the stall and bent down too get a good look ad inspect him well. After she was don she shook her head and walked out. "I don't see much rng wit hm but, i looks like his front anckles are cracked at some point, causing very much pain. I'm not sure if you shoul let him race any more for a few months..." she said saddly. She handed rob a pck of bndages and was about to talk away.

Shadow felt a bit more sorry for Red when the vet said he couldn't race for a few months and snorted. She put her head over Lily's shoulder to look at Red without passing Lily. Lily put a hand on her lower jaw and patted her nose with the other hand. "It looks like neither of our horses can do much for a while.",she said to Rob and put her hands down.

Rob shook his had and turned away rom the ohers and started alking down the hall. He turned into another hall way and too the halls tat led too the outside rooms. He stormed into his room and slamed the door shut.
The vet looked over at Shadow and Lily "You have something rong wit your horse?" Red sorted and lifted his head up, h let out an argessive whinnie and looked at te vet with all the sudded blood shot eyes.

Shadow snorted at Red's behavor and moved her head from Lily's shoulder. She walked to the door of her stall right as Lily said,"She's pregnate." Lily then opened the stall door and Shadow walked into her stall. Lily closed the door to the stall and Shadow looked into Red's stall.

The vet nodded and hnded Lily a card "Cal me when she has it." she sai wth a large smile, thn started walking out too her truck and tralior.

Lily put the card in her pocket and nodded her head. She looked at Red and closed his stall door before walking out of the stables and towards Rob's room. She made it to his door and knocked lightly. "Hey Rob.",she called through the door and then added,"It's Lily. Can we talk for a second?"
Shadow walked to one wall of the stable and leaned against it with a small shake of her head.

Rob walked over toothe door and opened it, he leand against the wall and looked at her. "Yeah.." he muttered. Red tried standing again but still no progress, he wouldn' give up, no matter the pain, nor game.

Lily looked at him and said,"If your upset just think of it this way... Red can still race when he heals and at least he will heal and it isn't so bad he needs surgury to get a fake leg."

Secertariet snorte and lied back his ears, not saying anything. Jagged Illission jumped the fence along with OneWay Ticket. The tortted into the stalls to see hat he comotion ws all about and why the vethad came. "Hello gorges" he snicked with a grin to Shadow. Secertariet whinnied agressivly and looked up at Illission. One Way Ticket baced up a bit untill she ran her butt up on the door of a radom stall, she let out a snort, scared too see Secertariet act like this, she had never saw him like this.

Shadow's ears went back and she turned around in her stall so she could face the wall and not have to look at the stallion.
