Nero was still petting his dire wolf when Daron backed away from him. "What is it?" he asked his partner. Nero watched Daron's ears prick up and look towards where Ivory was. The teenager looked at the wolf, confused. He repeated his question to Daron. The wolf partner growled and stomped his left paw against the ground, wondering how dumb his human could be. The wolf, with a huff, walked back towards Nero and pushed his hand in the direction of Ivory.

     "What?" Nero asked again as Daron approached. Then, he watched as the wolf nudged his hand in a certain direction. "What is there to see over there?" Nero turned his head to see a girl. "Oh," he mumbled.

Ivory, still in pain from her ruff landing huffed tilting her head up against the wall with her eyes closed. her short hair bristled in her face which made her open her eye. Eventually she pushed herself away from the alley wall. "So much easier when combined." she muttered to herself. She rotated her neck and pushed her side fringe from her face before looking at the boy and the wolf. waiting for her eye's to focus, she gave a small whistle and the peregrine flew from the dust bin onto Ivory's now outstretched arm. The bird hopped up her arm so she was sitting on her shoulder before eyeing out the potential threat of the canine encase her human had misjudged, and infact it was a rouge.

Ivory folded her arms and furrowed her brow slightly. "So err.." she hesitated before looking at the wall in thought then returning her attention to Nero. " Your the wolf hybrid right?" she questioned, looking down to the wolf beside him.

((Dreameater: Sure you can join.))

      Nero eyed the bird that perched on Ivory's arm. "Yes, I am," he answered, folding his arms over his chest. "Well, unless you are talking about the other wolf hybrid that I've heard about from those scientists who brag about their creations." Daron sat down beside his human, staring up at the peregine, tongue lolling from its mouth.

Ivory relaxed. she had found someone to talk too. it was rare for experiments to meet up. so she was glad to get this opportunity. "No, im sure, its you. i have seen you in the corridor." she lifted her finger up and stroked Blades feathers. "I'm the falconHybrid, but err, i think that's kinda obvious aint it?" she chuckled. Blade stared back at the wolf, her powerful eyes fixated on his as if he where prey, but knew that it was not possible to brake his neck with her talons, besides, there where in the same boat, metaphorically speaking.

Ivory dropped her hand and took a few steps forward before sitting on an upturned bin, however still far enough in-case this boy was one of the scientists dogs. She may have her speed and agility, but when it came to close combat, he would have the upper hand. "So." she said bluntly. "Do you like this or what?" she wasn't going to mess around just yet. she may have jumped off a building, but that was besides the point, and thanks to her modified hollow bones and larger lunges, the landing was not fatal, even though she still hurt herself.

Ivory was now being cautious, anything could happen.  

Remael lifted himself into a sitting position. Other than 'that' person, he had never talked to anyone else before. That realization made him somewhat nervous, though after a moment o hesitation he found the courage to respond. "Yea... I'm okay. What... what about you?"

Ruka warily watched the leopard, only slightly baring his teeth defensively. The wolverine had never met another experiment before, and like Remael, he was hesitant to trust it. 

"I..." Lilea began. She did bring up the courage to start the conversation... but to continue it? Could she do that? Should she do that? Lilea shut her eyes for a moment but soon opened them again and began to speak. "I'm fine, thank you." Slowly, Lilea brought herself to her knees. As she did so a sharp throbbing pain shot through her head. She winced, bringing her hand up to press it on her temple where the pain was. As the pain weakened slightly she removed her hand. Before letting it drop te her side, she noticed that her hand was covered in blood. 'Great.' She thought to herself.

Naria looked to the wolverine, bearing its fangs in defence. Naria gave it a simple nod to indicate that she was no threat. Now she hoped the wolverine would trust her. Naria knew how hard it was for experiments to trust each other since they had never before met anyone they could trust. Though Naria had tried to stay strong through the years, others had been broken so easily, turned into confused and lonely children. Naria herself remained strong, she had to just so she could keep Lilea from breaking completely. Naria noted that Lilea was now communicating with the other experiment, carrying on a conversation. The snow leopard smiled inwardly.

Remael's heart frose for a moment when he made out the wetness of blood on the girl's hand. He stepped forward, worry overriding distrust as he tested the wound on the girl's head. He frowned at it, saying, "It won't stop bleeding."

Ruka abandonded his agressive posture completely. He whimpered, indicating that he was worried about his partner. The wolverine didn't trust the snow leopard completely, but it seemed to be of no threat to Remi or himself.

     Nero ran his hand Daron's spine. "Well, it's cool," Nero began, his voice low. "But it wouldn't hurt for me to know what it would've been like to be a normal human." Daron licked Nero's hand, leaving it glistening with slobber. "At least we wouldn't be looked after like we need to be kept under a lock a key every waking second of our lives." Nero turned his brown gaze to the cement ground as he thought of how many times the scientists had barged in, ruining his life around the ordinary humans.

"Yea, i agree with you there." she recalled a moment she had with a "Normal" girl. later that day she committed "Suicide" by jumping off a building. how they made her do it, Ivory had no idea, but it the scientists had convinced her that it was her fault the girl had to die.

She also slightly enjoyed being fused with her partner. she liked the ability to fly, and the fact that her bones stay modified even when in human form was quite cool, but the actual change was agonisingly painful, and because you are now half animal, there is another part of your brain that gets activated and makes you do in-humane things. 

She shuddered before wincing at the thought if the scientists had modified her to having a beak. she was glad they didn't.

"But... say you had a chance to brake away from it all, would you?" that was the question she had wanted to discuss more than anything with another of her own kind. to be free would be amazing. that was an instinct that stayed with her.
