The world at this point in time is a very small place. It is filled with tales and legend of other lands filled with mystical animals and dangerous beasts. A group of explorers are given the task of finding new lands and charting them down on maps, sketching the wildlife and fauna there and then to return home. Naturally their task isn't going to be as simple as it sounds. For upon the island there is something there, something fascinating, something threatening. So this is going to be your basic Fantasy/action roleplay(and of course romance if love decides to blossom)~ This roleplay will follow the story of a group of explorers sent out to find and chart new lands and their wildlife. The wildlife of course is nothing like it is at home. The island is one shrouded in mist and deep fog in places. Mystical creatures, beautiful Sirens, deadly beasts and many more strange things call the island their home. Rules (every good roleplay has them) Please be literate. It is appreciated~ If you want to speak use some form of OoC. Please ask to join and post your bio at the same time. I will determine from that bio if I will let you join~ The explorers are all to be human. Once the explorers have reached the island they will be exploring you can bring in other chareters who are not human~ Mary-Sueness is frowned upon. Mary-Sues will be murderd. Long cat is long. Name: Shanoa de Rosa Age: 20 Gender: Female Personality: Shanoa is very outgoing and sociable. She enjoys adventure and has a great need to explore. Shanoa is often too trusting of people and also very trustworthy herself. She is kind and always puts the safety of others before her own. History: Shanoa grew up in a small village. Being an only child she was adored by both her mother and father. As she grew older she realised that life in the village wasn't meerly exciting enough and she craved adventure. She left home at the age of sixteen to seek another village or a town to explore and possibly find work in. Since that age she has been traveling around untill now, four years on she has been hired as part of a crew to board a ship to explore the unknown. Looks: (Her clothing is basically a dress in the colour above, split at both sides right up to the thigh. The lining of the dress is a rich blood red colour. She wears brown boots that come up to her thigh and have plates of armour on much like her breast-plate. Shanoa also has a tattoo on her upper back which looks like this. Because her dress is low in the back her tattoo is visible when her her isn't hiding it.) Other: Conciders Naria to be a companion with whom she travels. Species: Human. Name: Naria Cephenrene. Age: 19 Gender: Female Personality: Naria isn't very sociable, she looks out for only herself and close friends. She tends not to work very well in large groups. She's extreemly cautios and also suspicious of most people and so is not very trusting. Naria herself is a trustworthy person. Above the surface she is described as an "Ice Queen" but she's not like that to the core. Naria is a warm hearted person, she is kind, open and friendly, once you make the effort to get to know her that is. History: Naria was born in the same village as Shanoa, she wouldn't ever speak to her though. Her life was spent growing up in a rather crowded house without much attention from her parents, they were too busy with the younger children. Naria would watch out the window for most of the day watching other children play. Shanoa was her favourite too watch, she always had the most fun. The day Shanoa turned sicteen and decided to leave was the day that Naria decided that she too would leave when she became sixteen. One year on Naria left her village to hopefully catch up with Shanoa, which she eventually did after a year of traveling. The two have now found themselves as part of a crew who plan to explore new lands. Looks: Other: N/A Species: Human.

Name: Need help chosing bewteen, Kaethe, Delphina and Penelope Age: Twenty Gender: Female Personality: Although quiet (Insert name) is a rather nice girl. She loves to explore and meet new people. History: (Insert name) was born in Greece, and thats about it. Nothing all that important here. Looks: (Instert name) has beautiful shoulder length black wavy curls which seem to shine an odd purple when sun shines upon it. Her skin is lightly tanned like most greek. She's not the tallest person, seeing as she stands at just five foot three. She has a rather average build, she not exactly thin but definately not fat. Her face could be considered pretty to some, but most can get past her eyes. Her eyes are a pretty shade of amber, but are blank and unseeing which tend to frek people out. She looks like this. Name: Mikail (Mica) Ashworn Age: Nineteen Gender: Male Personality: Mica is a down to earth kind of guy. Very independent and strong willed, he enjoys life and loves to live it to its fullest and gets annoyed at people who just give up on things. Out on the sea, he feels like a king, but gets slightly nervous on land. Not that it would ever stop him. History: Mica was born into an Italian boat-building family with several older siblings. He didn't really get along with his siblings until his younger brother came along and bonded with him. He worked with his family building trade and private boats until his fourteenth birthday when his job was to inspect a trade boat ready to be finished. The boat was attacked by pirates. The ship was sunk and he was captured and held for ransom. Sadly only his younger brother voted to pay. In the end he made a deal with the pirates and became one of them. Eventually, he and the pirates were captured and he was released because his brother had somehow tracked him down and explained his side of the story, showing Mica's innocence. Thanks to the skills he picked up from building and designing boats and being a pirate, Mica was then hired to be part of a crew to explore the unknown. OoC: I think we shall start soon x3 I'll probably edit this post later with a roleplaying post~ BiC: Shanoa leant against one of the large posts that stuck up from the board walk. Today was the day that her adventure started. She'd been waiting this day for a while now, it was going to be the time that her hunger for adventure would be satisfied. Shanoa tilted her head backwards letting the sun warm her face. The warmth from the sun was soon gone as a figure stepped in front of her. Shanoa opened one eye wearily, seeing who it was she stood straight, with both eyes open. Shanoa smiled at her friend. Naria has been traveling with Shanoa now for around three years and so the two had become close friends. Though they had many differences. Shanoa was slightly childish compared to Naria's mature ways, Shanoa was always more sociable while Naria preffered to stad around behind her, trailing in Shanoa's footsteps like a shadow. In Naria's eyes, she was and still is just a shadow of Shanoa. Though it seems this could effect their friendship, it doesn't. Naria enjoys being the shadow, unnoticed. That way she wouldn't have to fuss with socialising. "Yo." Shanoa said with a slight smile, one of her eyes had closed again giving her a cheeky look to her ex
pression. "Is this ship ready to sail yet?" "Looks like it." Naria replies, her voice monotone as always. "The sails are up and other members of the crew should be arriving shortly. Looks like we'll be leaving right on time. If the crew gets here before noon that is." "Well it's almost noon now." Shanoa replied, placing a hand on her temple to shield her eyes from the sun as she pointed twoards it's position in the sky. Naria looked up, sliding her goggles down over her eyes. "So it is." Naria lowered her head again looking twoards the village street, slowly she lifted her goggles, noting some people approaching. "Looks like they're here." "Brilliant!" Shanoa exclaimed, throwing her arms into the air. "This means we can leave soon" She grinned at her friend, getting only the slightest of smiles in return. "Aww, c'mon you can do better than that." Naria sighed slightly and folded her arms over her chest, amused by Shanoa's coaxing her for a smile. Naria lowered and shook her head in amusement before lifting it up again to reveal a smile that seemed to please Shanoa. Naria noted her friend grinning then looked twoards the approaching people.

Damon walked lithely onto the boardwalk, the big ship in his sights. "Wow." He chuckled, the shadow of the immense vessel covering his form. He walked with everything he needed, the clothes on his back. (Will post more later.) |

"Hey you there." Shanoa called out to the stranger who had strolled onto the boardwalk so calmly, not noticing her and Naria. In a swift and gracefull movement Shanoa was by the man's side. "You wouldn't happen to be part of the crew of explorers boarding this ship?" She smiled up at him. If he was coming with them then she would try to build up a friendship with him. Strong bonds make for a good team. Naria said nothing about the man's approach, she would simply wait to be noticed before saying anything. Even then she probably wouldn't speak to him, this man was a stranger and if she could help it, that is how he would remain. Naria remained where she stood, leaning back against the post that Shanoa had recently been leaning against, she kept looking down the village street where there were more approaching. |

Damon changed his direction, stopping and cocking his head towards her. His eyes calculated the girl, finally speaking. "Hello, I'm Damon. And yes, I am." He answered, shifting his body weight towards lounging but dangerous. |

"Awesome!" Shanoa exclaimed, bringing her arms close to her chest and clenching her hands into fists. "The name's Shanoa, and that over there is my friend Naria." Shanoa pointed twoards Naria and then extended her arm twoards Damon, offering to shake his hand. She waited, with a smile on her face, for him to take it. As Naria heard her name being mentioned, she turned her head to look twoards Shanoa and her aquaintance. Naria did nothing, if this man decided to look she's just give him a simple nod, for now she observed the two and waited for the arrival of the rest of the crew. |

Shanoa took Damons hand and held it firmly before shaking it. She then let go of his hand and let her arms slip to her slides. "This ship leaves at noon." Shanoa replied. "That is... if everyone gets here on time." Shanoa looked twoards her friend. "Can you see anoyone yet Naria?" "Not yet. But I'm guessing they should be here soon." Naria decided to leave the post she was leaning on and stood at Shanoa's side. Naria calmly placed her arm around Shanoa's shoulders, leaning on her. "If they're not going to be here on time I won't care for leaving without them." Naria turned to look up at Damon. She gave him a rather inquisitve look, a look that wasn't very trusting. Naria lifted her goggles and stared at Damon with her black eyes. Naria's eyes were like the night. Deep, mysterious, wondefull but... lonely. Right now they showed no emotion. She just stared at Damon blankly. He didn't seem like the type that could be trusted so easily. He seemed cold. Like Naria herself in a way. Perhapse he could be trusted if she became more familiar with him. "I'm guessing you know my name?" Naria questioned Damon. "I'll introduce myself anyway. My Name is Naria." Unlike Shanoa, Naria made no effort to make a friendly greeting and remained still, resting on Shanoa.
