Gylz: "There's not much in this pack that I don't know of, and Maerd was not scheduled to meet with one of the Moon Pack today. Hang on. I know her. She's Rivka! I met her once, during a battle between the packs. Interesting character." I say, recognising Rivka. She is indeed and interesting wolf, one that I would like to get to know better, but Pack Rivalries forbid it. "Why would Maerd be here, if he is not scheduled to be?" I wonder aloud, talking to no one in particular.

Maerd: "We can what?" I say, not sure if I missheard or she never answered. "Oh. Let me go and check them out." I say, wandering over to who I could recognize as Haji and Gylz, the medical wolf. 'Wonder how Haji managed to drag Gylz from his den. Don't really want to know actually.' I think to myself as I approach. "What are you two doing here? You're not scheduled to be on Patrol Duty." I say, my voice assertive, like I was not the one doing anything out of order.

(( True, but it's up to them... I dunno... :/ ))

Rivka followed behind Maerd, head lowered, looking at the wolves. As she approached, she recognized the one wolf. "Oh. Hi Gylz!" She said happily, as usual. She stayed behid Meard, just in case something bad happened...

Haji hesitated to answer Meard, knowing that they might get in trouble. He was eyed the female carefully, making sure she wouldnt try anything.

Rivka glared at the wolves, not wanting to answer. She looked at Meard, hoping that he'll answer that for me. But he looked hesitant, too. What should I do? I ask myself. I lower my head and look at the ground.

Haji still glared at Rivka. He realized that she was too close to his territory. So he growled in frustration and leaped at her, but Rivka dodged it.

Maerd: I see Haji, the wolf that I had been reasonably friendly with not an hour ago, leap at my Soul Mate. I snarl menacingly, and leap at him. Rivka dodges his attack, and I jump on top of Haji, biting his neck, threatening to kill him to save Rivka (probably wont have the heart too anyway). 

Haji was pushed to the ground hard by his... ex-friend Maerd. He coughed, and attempted to choke out, "Maerd! What the he.ll?!" He kicked him off with his two back paws and held him to the ground with his two front paws. He slightly scratched his nose and growled.

Rivka watched in horror as her soul mate and this... other wolf fight to the death. I have to do something! I can't just watch this! She thought. She pushed Haji off of Meard and he fell to the ground on his side.

Murk hesitantly walked away from the water and trotted back to were her pack was. Murk saw a rustle in the bush and her adventurous instinct came in, she wandered over to the bush. She pushed a branch aside and caught sight of a commen Squirrel with its tail stuck under a rock, usually this would be an easy prey for Murk but she didnt want to kill this helpless animal. Murk quickly checked if any other wolfs were looking and to her luck nobody was so she gently nudged the rock of the Squirrels tail and it darted up the tree.

((Ink, will you stay? I've never done a 1x1 before, don't know how good I'll be.))

Maerd:  As quick as I jump on Haji, he flips me over, and now it's vice versa. I fear for my life, when Rivka pushes Haji off of me. I jump to my feet, trying not to let myself get pinned again. I'm in my fighting stance, ready for anything. My breath is hard and it comes out in great puffs. I wait for Haji to make the next move.

Maerd: I growl defensively at Haji, but it looks like the fight is over. Rivka stands behind me, and I use my body to protect her. 'What now?' I think, not quite sure what to do. I glare back at Haji, but my stance isn't threatening any more.

(I actually have the same question as Maerd. What now?)

( Heh, yea. Maybe they try to solve the problem, and Maerd tells that hes in love, and their mad, but live with it. or something. )

Haji still stood in a defensive stance. He glared at Maerd, supprised his old friend would do something like this to him. Why? He asked hisself. "Why would yu do that?" He asked Maerd. "That she-wolf was trespassing in our territory!" He growled again.

Rivka nodded her head slowly back and forth in disaproval. What are we going to do? She asked herself.

Maerd: "I'ts complicated! You wouldn't understand it!" I shout at Haji.

(bleh)

"Too complicated? Is it about earlier when I was talking to you after taking a swim? Or what?" Haji growls.

(bleh also.)

Maerd: I feel like I should tell him. He is my friend and pack-mate after all. But I'm the Beta. I have authority over him. 'Why should he make me do what I don't want to?' I think. I feel like I'm being torn in half again. "You wouldn't understand." I say, not shouting this time. It'll only make me angrier.

Gylz: I watch the show that unwravels before me, and just wait. I sit on my rump, and enjoy the show. It is rather interesting, and it makes me wonder.
