"NO!", Rosalie screamed, running to Crispin's side, believing her newfound friend to be dead. She yanked the wooden steak out, tears rolling down her cheeks. She placed her hand over the wound, not believing what had just happened. People had shunned her for years, and when she finally finds someone of her own kind that is friendly twords her, he is slain by two hunters. "Crispin...", she breathed, clenching her eyes shut and rising to her feet, turning to face the two killers. When her eyes opened, they were so dark as to almost be black. "Murderurs!", she shrieked, charging at the two, the weapon she had pulled from Crispin's body firmly in hand.

Rain looked at the body and gasoped. "How, he's still-" X sighed, appearing infront of Rosalie, and grabbed her, ripping the weapon's from her hand. "It's a special 'medical condition,'" Crispin smirekd, standing up. The wound wasn't healign, but he wasn't dead.. "Your heart," X growled, looking at Rain, who was still unerved by the man that he *censored*uemd to be dead. "It's on the opposite side of the chest," X and Crispin said in unisen. "So that's why you didn't die for the second time," He questioned. ______ "Excactly. " Rain gasped, turngin around to see the handsome vampire known as D, who plunged a swoard into his stomache, and watched him drop to the ground. "Crispin, I found the woman, killed it, nwo we should tell our employer," He explained, mounting his horse. "Rigth. Ya mind lettign her go?" Crispin asked x. "No. Not this time, I'm better prepaired.

Rosalie was extatic when she saw that Crispin was not dead, but frightened when she realized what kind of a position she had gotten herself into. Her she was in a vampire hunter's grip, and he held the one weapon that had the capability of killing her. She growled, realizing how foolish she had been to charge without thinking. D was back, but with no obvious intention of rescuing her. She looked to Crispin, her eyes pleading for him to help her.

"Okay, seeing as you guys are going to be pricks about this," Crispin sighed, and in a flash he was behind Rain, pushing him to the ground, and on top of him. "Mine isn't, but I know Rain;s is in the right place, if you know what I mean," He said holding a small dagger of his own over the other vampire's chest. "U..U-uh, X?" He asked, shaking slightly.

"X, I do suggest you listen to my friend over there, or that guy's gonna be toast.", Rosalie said, shaking slightly herself. Even though she knew he was a hunter, she felt a bit bad about him being in the same position that she was. It was not a fun place to be. She looked intently at the two, and over at D, who stood emotionlessly at the edge of the conflict, staying out of it all.

"I have nothing to do with this," D explained, to answer the look of confusion on Rosalie's face. "Fine. Don't hurt him," He growled, throwing Rosalie to the ground. "Thank you," Crispin smirked, standing up, letting Rain stand back up. "Rain, we'll fall back for now," X growled, lookign for his horse that was long-gone by now.

Rosalie fell to the ground, dust stirring up as she hit the dirt. she closed her eyes to protect them, even though they'd heal automatically f she was hurt, it still stung. She came to her feet and looked greatfully at Crispin, moving to stand at his side. "Your chest...", she said softly, noticing that the wound still had yet to heal.

"If you intend on accompanyign us, we will not protect you. You are on your own," Crispin sighed. "Hey, don't be such a b!tch!" D ignroed the comment. "We have to hurry. The sun's comming up soon.

If you need anything, don't hesitate to come find me, I rarely leave this area." She waved to the two males and took off, flying to the cave that she spent every day sleeping in. |

Rosalie woke up and smiled it was around nine 0'clock at night, and the moon was beautiful. She flew outside, enjoying the crisp night air. She wondered where Crispin and D were, the two other vampires she'd met the night before. She hoped she'd run into them again one day.

D walked over to the couch Crispin was sleeping on, a teddy bear in his hand, as he was apperently suckign his thumb. "GET UP, YOU LAZY SLOB! >:U" He growled, as his lazily kicked the couch and it toppled over the still sleepign Crispin. "Nhhh...Five maor minuts mommeh. X)" Called the voice from under the furnature. D facepalmed, and walked outside to the stall, steppign in horse manure. "OH, C'MON, THESE ARE NEW SHOES!" He growled, then wiped his feet on Crispin's horses saddle that was discarded on the floor, climbign onto the horse. "HI-HO SILVER, AWAY! >:U" He shoted as the horse just stodo there. "What's worng?" "Dumb*censored*, you forgot to open the friggin stall," the left hand said. "Oh..." He jumped off the horse, to see Crispin wlak in. "WAAAA! T_T' D, someone tipped the couch!" "Uh..Must have been a bad dream. Now get on your horse, and klet's go, I already put your saddle on thwe horse. "HOW NICE~! :D" Crispin said oging over to the horse.... __________ "Y'know, soemthing smells realllly bad. :x" Crispin said as they were running. "Dunno,: D said as hew caught sight of Rosalie, who was flying, "Ooohhh. Pretty. :D" Crispin said, lookign at her. "Too bad,: D said pullign a rocket launchr out of the hammer space known as his right butt-pocket, and shot Rosalie, makign her explode.
