Nolan reached out and slowly opened the window, cursing mentally as the bat decided it was going to fly in and head towards the first heat source it could find. Which was Kain.

Before it could make it, Nolan grabbed a small rock and flung it at the bat, effectively knocking it out. As it fell to the ground in a crumpled heap of unconscious bat, Nolan hid again, muttering swift curses in multiple languages under his breath. Stupid bat, almost getting him noticed.

Kain whirred around, looking at the bat and the rock, then flashed the light around.

"Whose there?!"  He called out, looking around for soemthing to defend himself with. Which happened to have been either A: The head, or B: a large metal pole.

Nolan let out another hiss, the light very bright to his light-sensitive eyes. He quickly covered his mouth with his hands, swearing mentally at his stupidity. He groaned, then slid through the window and into the room, dressed in a black overcoat that fluttered around him. "Your friendly neighborhood vampire, that's all," he said, crossing his arms.

"I'm sorry about the vampire that cost you your job, by the way. I had no choice but to behead her, or she would've killed you...or worse..."

Kain gasped seeing the other person, and was facign towards him, one hand on the light (But lowered it so it wasn't in the other's eyes) and the other on the rod.

"..W..Wait, you took that thing's head?  Who are you?  And....Stop with the roleplay already, what do you mean vampire?"  He asked, takign a step back.

(Meh, I've decided to give this guy a set of bawlz.)

Nolan shook his head, taking off his shades, his orange-and-scarlet bi-colored eyes glowing in the dark. "I mean exactly what you think I mean. I'm a vampire." He walked forward, brushing past Kain to pick up the girl's head and examine it, tilting his head. "Stubborn thing, aren't you?" he muttered. "Still moving around like that with just a single drop of blood." He set her head back down, looking back over at Kain. "Yes, Kain, I am the one who saved your life."

He turned to face him, a good few inches taller. "My name is Nolan, last name lost through the pas$age of time. I am a pureblooded vampire, part of a dying breed." He bowed, formal and polite as usual, long, dark hair falling over his shoulders.

Kain tilted his head,

"..Wait...Dying breed...Y...You don;'t have..Like brother;s or anything, do you?"  He asked, quickly looking around, then looking at the bat.

"Oh, my god, did he clock his own brother?"

"..So...You were the one that did that to her in the first place....Vampires really do drink blood, then?"  He asked, not sure wether or not he should run. "A...And more importantly, why did you save me?"

Kain snorted. "I have no family. I've always been an only child. And no, I did not do this to her. What I drain stays dead." He looked over at Kain, then moved to go pick up the bat. "These creatures get annoying after a little while. I only knocked him out, though." He padded back over. "And yes, we do. Pureblood don't have to feed as often as those who are made, like the woman on the slab there. Purebloods feed usually only twice a week, while she would have to feed almost every day," he sighed.

"And I saved you because I'm not monster, like humans think vampires are. I don't kill mindlessly, nor do I go on rampages. I'm not Dracula, either." He closed his eyes for a moment. "I'm more human than you might think, despite how I have to have blood to survive and how I can't go out in the sun."

((All that really happened is that Nolan was found out and entered the room and is talking to Kain. :D

And Nolan knocked out a flying back with a rock. xD))

Damon growled, stepping out of the shadows.

"Stole my meal.."He muttered, putting on a smirk.

"And you are?" 

"You're right, it won't be a simply victory."Damon sneered, flashing his silver-plated fnags at the other Vampire.

"I'm Damon Salvatore. Perhaps you know my brother?" 

     Zoey laughed as she stumbled out of the front of the apartment building, her hair blowing in the sudden breeze that greeted her there. Tonight was the graduation party that she and her friends had been planning since practically the beginning of the year. Soon, she would be a Senior and at the top of her cl*censored*es at that. She wanted to go to either Harverd or Yale to study law, but she couldn't make up her mind as to which school she wanted to go to just yet.

     It was dark out and a little more than creepie, and not only that but the moon was full, only slightly covered by small dusty clouds rolling across the sky. A few newspapers rolled past her, carried on the breeze. Zoey slallowed, her eyebrows pulling together in the makings of a frown. She softly cooed the lyrics of the last song she heard back at the party, Helena by My CHemical Romance. "So long and goodnight..... So long and goodnight." She p*censored*ed by a particularly grey looking building and could hear voices on the other sdie, but payed thme no mind.

"..Wait, Salvedor?  Do you knwo Stefan Salvedor?"  Kain asked tilting his head,

"And to hell with you!  I'm no ones meal!"  He tohught to ihmself, and figured he would have said it, but the tiem was a bit p*censored*ed.  He closed the cabinet with the woman in it, but her head fell to the ground.

"Wait, hem ight not be that bad.  I mean yes, he tried to kill me, but it's instint..I thin Nolan's judging him too fast...Or maybe he's tryign to kill me...Stefan didn't seem liek a psychopath..Thne again, I didn't knwo he was a vampire. X_o"

     Out of the corner of her eye, she saw movement and she felt like her heart was trying to escape up her throat, she squealed, a high pitched noise and threw the small box of left over fingure sandwhiches at the dark ob
ject. She missed and her snacks flew all over the ground. The thing that had moved toward her hissed, "Salem!!" She murmured, "Don't do that to me! You know i don't like walking around in the dark alone!" At that, the pitch black ball of fur bounded toward her, stopping at her feet to purr sweetly. Zoey picked her up, scratched her behind the ears, and continued walking.
