Skin sighed and knew this was the end... he looked up and stared into the eyes of his daughters.... as if saying Dont forget me. I did everything for you. He felt blood dripping from his wounds...his body was broken. Dusk suddenly snarled loudly lunging and grabbing Vayne by the neck, slamming him down off her father with a force she didnt know she had, she rebounded and tore into Vayne's side, hearing the bones shatter...and her own bones trembled at the impact. She bit into Vayne's muzzle feeling the blood drip down her throat. "D-Dusk." Skin called weakly..."D-Dont fight. Your better then t-that." he forced a smile. Dusk jumped back snarling loudly, it took all her strength to relax her muscles. She backed up her green eyes gleaming with threat and anger. Skin pulled his head up weakly, "You are the r-real loser, Vayne. You are weak. I love Ash and Dusk like you love Khaos. I am not afraid to loose my life, I have lost everything. I do not fear you, and neither should Dusk and Ash, because they are 10 times the wolf you will ever be... my only fear is not being able to watch my children blossom. And I thank you. You took Ash when I was gone." He looked weakly for Kohanu, "Kohanu, you took Dusk in when I was gone. Take good care of them. You are their real family." he said in almost a whisper.

Kohanu stared in horror at Skin. She turned to Vayne. "Get out of my territory you tick-bitten fleabag!!!!" She barked. She leaned down and licked Skins wounds.

Skin smiled weakly at Kohanu, "Thank you for taking care of Dusk." he whispered, closing his eyes gently. Dusk glared at Vayne. "Get.Out." she growled lowely. Turning her gaze briefly at Ash and then back at Skin.

Vayne turned around and threw Dusk into a river with all the force left in his maw. He walked over to Skin and stomped on his muzzle with his hind pad, crushing it. "Goodnight sh¡t face, You had no propose on this earth anyway." Vayne said, before biting down on the soft windpipe, and ripping it out with a thrash of his head. He dropped it on the ground, before walking back and feeling the sting of his own wounds. He turned around, and lapped at his side, he could feel the broken rib. He looked up into the sky, his dragon form bursting through. In this form he was healed. He spread the neon green wings and shot off into the air. |

Dusk propelled herself from the river, she wasnt injured...how? She had no idea, she ran back to Skin. Shaking her head sadly.."no.no.no...Dont leave." she whimpered her paws being dyed by his blood. Skin had no energy to open his eyes... his breathing was getting fainter... He spoke, blood dripping from his throat. "My daughters. Approach." he said, drowning in his own blood. Dusk nudged Skin gently. Skin spoke ignoring the pain, he spoke as if he didnt know Vayne had left, "I am worth more to this earth then you ever will be. Call me what you want, but Ash and Dusk and Kohanu and even the young pups, have more spirit and more purpose then you ever will have." he choked. Dusk shook her head anger flared in her eyes. She snarled, "Dusk." Dusk stopped and looked down, "Dont go after him. Promise you wont." he pleaded, Dusk anwsered with a low growl, her fur pricked, "But fat-" she was cut off, "Promise me, Dusk." Dusk said nothing but clenched her eyes shut and nodded. "Thats my girl, Ash, please take care of your sister." he said in a fatherly tone.
