Dusk lowered her head and faced away from Kohanu, she couldnt bring herself to gaze upon her dying features...Kohanu would live....she kept this thought in her mind. Skin looked toward the ground...the two siblings didnt realize how important they were to each other. Dusk felt her friend slipping away, she clenched her jaw and squeezed her eyes shut, as if she were trying to awaken from a harsh dream...although she knew this was the reality. Flashbacks of the past few years serving under Kohanu's lead, ran through Dusk's mind... all the fights, no matter how nasty, Kohanu always mended her wounds, and mended her pride. Dusk smiled at these thoughts... she opened her eyes and gazed at Kohanu, "Rest my friend." she whispered, the pain lay heavy in her heart. She rose her head and let out a long howl of grief... something she has never done. Most of her howls were of battle and anger...now, grief, and guilt.
