Aeria slowly walked the streets of New York. She had her two long swords hidden in her clothes, but she could reach them if necessary. She yawned and sat down in her little alley. It was a cozy, comfortable place protected from the cold wind at night. The sun was setting, so she smiled at the success of her living another day among civilization undetected.

Elijah spun around in his chair. He was in his house, waiting for another lead as to where Aeria was. She was one of his best a.ssa.ssins. For her to just disappear was completely unexpected. He picked up his two-hundred-dollar pen and twirled it around his fingers. He truly was a man of wealth. His whole a.ssa.ssin operation was run from his huge mansion. He even had half of the house reserved for the a.ssa.ssins that didn't have a place to stay. Sighing, he got up and felt for his gun. Yep. It was still there, right where he left it; on the side of his leg, hidden beneath his large trench coat. Today was one of the rare days that he wasn't wearing a suit.

"Don't you think you should go do your job instead of bothering ALL of the time?" A rather cold voice cut into a very nervous newbie. Ian looked up from his desk, people's faces on papers as well as the papers. "I don't have time to talk to you every second. If you need help, do not ask me again." The new guy looked at Ian like he was some type of alien. He walked off looking slightly hurt. Ian rubbed his temples, attempting to fight off his headache. 

Ian looked up as a phone lit up and buzzed across his desk. "This job will be the end of me, literally." He mumbled to himself as he picked it up. "Hello?" His deep voice peirced the silence of  the room. "What? Are you posative? Okay, I'll get on researching it." Ian closed his phone and scowled.  Aeria, why in the hell did you just dissapear for no reason? He thought as he logged onto his computer. He was aware of what he had to do, but he didn't want to do it. Killing a random stranger? Why not. But one of your own? Unheard of. It was his job as of now to start searching where she may have gone to.

Baskron woke as the plane decended, he hated riding in planes since he couldnt keep his bow with him. People in the plane became increasingly anoying as the flight from Michigan went on. He shoves his way out of the plane and quickly find himself the luggage return. I still don't get why they make such a big deal about this chick... She seems stupid to leave and have all these others after her... Baskron wait patiently as he watches the lugage ride by, he ended up taking an extra five minutes because the kids got in the way of him getting his bags. Afterwards, he walks out to buy himself a camaro and ride out. Looking at the city, he wondered how he would find her. New york was a huge place, and had a heven bigger number of people. As settled down t a cafe he found his phone and called his boss. No answer. After listening to the voicemail he spoke "I've landed in New York, i'll start searching today." 

Elijah didn't reach for his phone. He knew it was Baskron. He knew all he needed to know from the voicemail that he left. He smirked and twirled his pen around some more. "This won't be too hard. I have two of my a.ssa.ssins after her, now." He was speaking to himself. Again. It truly was a creepy habit of his.

Aeria got up from her hiding place and yawned. What's taking them so long? Aeria knew that Elijah had sent some others after her. He wasn't just going to let her get away that easily. She pulled her hood over her head and began to run. She needed to stay in shape. After all, they would be there soon. She hoped that it would buy her some time by changing her appearance, but with Elijah, he might already know where she is and what she looks like. Aeria shook that thought off and ran faster, pa.ssing people nimbly.

Rayleigh looked around the clothing store. She tried on several dresses to no avail. She had free time, so she thought that she would blow some of her birthday money on clothes. She had her earbuds in, blasting Paramore in her ears. She hummed softly to herself as she walked out of the store. No clothes there had peaked her interest. A girl with purple eyes ran into her, causing her to stumble backwards. "Hey, watch it, clumsy!" Rayleigh said to the mysterious girl angrily.

"Sorry," Aeria said, her purple eyes not looking at Rayleigh. At that, she turned around and ran again, leaving Rayleigh behind.

"People these days," Rayleigh said, shaking her head.

"I really don't think you can catch me," Aeria said, smiling in her confident way now. In an instant, Aeria was up the wall and on the roof. She was quicker at climbing and jumping than she was at running. She immediately jumped over the other edge of the roof, landing on a windowsill of another building. She slid in. Luckily, it was a hall window and not a bedroom window. She ran down the steps, steering clear of the windows. She would have to dye her hair again. The colors were coming out. She looked around and exited the building, shedding her jacket and pulling her hair out of its ponytail. She walked calmly to her alley and sat down, her swords still in her hands. Nobody in New York had looked at her funnily for walking down the street with two swords. Well, there was a cosplay convention going on, so they probably thought she was cosplaying as someone. She had been lucky today, but that usually means that the next day, she runs out of luck.

Aeria looked around and yawned. She curled up in the fetal position and looked at her hair. Surely enough, her hair was growing out and she had blonde roots. They were barely visible, but they were there. She stared at herself in the broken mirror on the ground. She looked tired. She was tired. She closed her eyes and slowly, but surely, fell asleep.
