((Aw, I want to start soonish. D: *cough* I was hinting at that Rosekit would (maybe) be the medicine cat apprentice one day, but it's okay, I really suck at hinting. x3 She'll just be hanging around the medicine den lots because she loves to help.))

{~} So, doesn't matter. Nothing says that they can't mentor. They can't have kits though, nor can deputies. -retorts- {~}

{~} Whatever. We can start now, we have all the important places filled. {~} Timberfall lay in a small patch of sunlight outside the Warrior's den, his dark brown coat sleek and shiny. He gave a small sigh and licked his pelt, wondering who he would place on the hunting patrol today. I think Leafstorm, Thunderstrike, Skypaw, Creampaw and Spiritflame should go. It can be the apprentice's as.sessments, especially Skypaw's. She's almost ready to becoem a warrior...I should tell Fallingstar.
-- Leafstorm was at the fresh-kill pile, sniffing through it for the perfect piece. Finally, she came across a small thrush. She nibbled at the bird as she waited for her instructions for the day. -- Stormfang waited by the apprentice's den for Duskpaw, twitching his tail a little irritably as he sat there. "Duskpaw?" he called out softly. -- Scorchpaw padded out sleepily from the apprentice's den and mewed a hello to Stormfang tiredly. He crouched by the fresh-kill pile and crunched up a small mous. -- Earthpaw and Sky paw joined their littermate, Earthpaw nuzzling her brother affectionately before sharing a large and plump rabbit with Skypaw.

Stormfang's voice rang into Rainpaw's dream, and her blue eyes jolted open, the apprentice looking around warily. Calming herself because nothing had happened, the white she-cat began to lick the moss out of her fur, then re-arranged her nest so that it could be napped in if she had a particularly rough time that day. She padded over to Duskpaw, and nosed the other apprentice sleepily. "Duskpaw, Stormfang's waiting for you." Rainpaw announced quietly, then exited the Apprentice's Den, eyeing the warrior. "She should wake soon, I nudged her a couple of times." The snowy cat stretched, unsheathing her claws, then protecting them again, and trodded over to the nursery, nosing back the bramble curtain. Sunkit was the first to greet his sister, pouncing on her paw, since all he could do was smell her. Being newborn was so troublesome to him. Rainpaw chuckled softly, though low enough that no one would hear her. She picked up her little brother by his scruff and placed him back by her mother, nudging him towards her belly. Rosekit raised her head breifly to acknowledge her older sister's entrance, while Jaggedkit continued to nurse. Smiling, Rainpaw licked her young siblings gently, then sat by her mother's head, whispering. "They're so beautiful..." She murmured, just quietly enough not to wake the snoozing queens and kits. Snowfeather's blue eyes met her daughter's, and she purred gingerly, nodding. Her eyes told her tired story, and Rainpaw understood, she had helped the medicine cat and her mother in the kitting of her day-old siblings."Do you have names for them?" Rainpaw continued to speak, knowing that her mother enjoyed the company. Another nod followed the she-cat's question. Good. "Sleep well, mother." She whispered again, tip-toeing out of the nursery and adjusting her eyes to the morning sun.

Spiritflame lay curled in the Warrior's den beside her orange-furred mate, Thunderstrike. Her sides heaved gently as she slept with her tail over her nose. Shifting slightly, she accidenally caused Thunderstrike to wake up. The orange-furred tom blinked his blue eyes open before he glanced at Spiritflame. He sighed and shook his head before getting to his paws. Licking down a few renegade hairs on his chest, he padded out of the den to the fresh-kill pile. "Good morning," he mewed to Scorchpaw, Earthpaw, and Skypaw before he pulled out a plump mouse. -- Shadefire was already up and sorting through her herb supply to see if she needed anything. Catmint was low, so was the chervil, and dock. When Tigerpaw woke up, she'd have to tell him to help her collect the things she needed. -- Flamestrike was also asleep in the Warrior's den. His light orange furred-side moved slightly with each breath he took.

Scorchpaw nodded at the warrior, feeling awed by the older cat's sleek fur and rippling muscles. "Good morning Thunderstrike," he meowed, along with Earthpaw. Skypaw gave a little mew and ducked behind Earthpaw in embaras.sment, feeling a hot flush spread through her fur. She always felt uncomfortable around the older and more experienced warriors.

Thunderstrike chuckled and flicked his tail to Scorchpaw's shoulder. "Can you go watch up Spiritflame and tell you that I'm going to eat this mouse all by my lonesome," he said, before his eyes glittered. "And gush about how big it is. That'll wake her up. Flamestripe might actually follow her as well." Flicking his tail away from Scorchpaw's shoulder, it swished low over the ground as she crouched over the mouse to take a bite.

{~} Edited the Mentors thing on the first page. I forgot my apprentices T.T {~} Scorchpaw shuffled his paws uncertainly, "I'd rather not bother them..." he said quietly, feeling uncomfortable about Thunderpelt's suggestion. "I mean...I don't want to get in trouble with Spiritflame and all..." -- Skypaw glanced around Earthpaw and watched Scorchpaw's mood turn instantly from bright to nervous. "What did Thunderpelt ask?" she meowed to Earthpaw, having missed the short conversation while she hid behind her sister. -- Earthpaw sighed, "Thunderpelt asked Scorchpaw to wake up Spiritflame. He doesn't want to get in trouble." Her tail lashed slightly at Thunderpelt's idiotic suggestion. "Poor Scorchpaw." -- Timberfall stood up on his lanky and muscular legs and padded over to Spiritflame, nudging her. "I want you to round up Thunderpelt, Leafstorm, Skypaw and Creampaw. We need more fresh-kill since the days grow colder and shorter." He tapped her once more with his tail and went to the fresh-kill pile, nodding at the apprentices while he grabbed a starling. "Thunderpelt, Skypaw, go to Spiritflame," he mewed as he chewed his prey.
