Just up ahead, near Blackfoot's(Blackfoot is a vicious fox with a mate and 3 kits) den, a body lay on the ground, blood surrounding the body. "What's that?!" Nightshade asked frantically, having worried about Leafstar.

Nightshade sprinted over to the body, with Dogheart on her tail. She gasped, seeing as who the cat was. "Leafstar..... Leafstar!" Nightshade began to panic. She had never thought this would happen! "Leafstar what happened?!?!"

"Oh, mouse-dung, I should know what to do! I was a medicine cat! Ummm, lets see...cobwebs... stops the bleeding...chervil root, marigold, and horetail for infected wounds...." Nightshade stopped, she heard a low growl coming from inside Blackfoot's den.

Blackfoot appeared out of his den, along with his oldest and strongest kid. It had grown up so fast! It was almost as big as his father, and if not almost as powerful. Now Nightshade started to fret, why didn't she look for Leafstar sooner!?!? Then, Blackfoot lunged at Nightshade, raking his sharp claws against her belly. She screeched in pain, rolling out of the way and getting back onto her feet, attacking his kid, taking a deathblow to the neck. It his the fox, yet it didn't kill him. He was furious now, and bared his teeth back in a snarl. Nightshade decided that is she was going to die, She'd best die in bravery. She hissed at him, lunging forward just as Blackfoot rammed into her. She fell to the ground, dazed by the blow to her side. Then Blackfoot's kit ran up to her and made a bone-breaking CRUNCH on Nightshade's right leg. She screamed in agony, pain rushing to her lungs as it knocked the breath out of her. It didn't break anything, but it dealt a lot of damage. Trying to put her pain into rage, she got up and pounced on Blackfoot, and with all her might, bit dow as hard as she could on the back of Blackfoot's neck. You could hear the bones crunching as Blackfoot's scream filled the forest. He then went limp, dieing slowly and painfully. Then, Blackfoot's son, which Nightshade has thought of calling him Fury, ran up to her and slashed out his claws, tearing at her face. She fell down, fainting from all the pressure and pain. Luckily Shadownight had dissapeared to FIND Leafstar, and had finally found her in the nick of time. He pounced on Fury, flipping him over and clawing at his belly. Fury yelped, causing his family to come out. Luckily, the rest of StormClan had heard Blackfoot's scream and had come to the rescue. Dogheart joined in as well.

dogheartjust pasing by sawthe comotion and star in horror if he gose to help them they think hes an intuder in there terratory but if he dosent than what will happen? he bolted twads a larg she-fox and got a killing grip on its neck he bit harder and hard "for a cat that killed a wolf this thing shood be no problem" he ket telling himself as a smaller fox tri to rip him of its mother but he still held he dug his claws into the head of the she-fox as it flail and tri to nock him of but he didnt let go until the fox droped to the ground not breathing but befor the other cats could reconize him as an intruder he ran of
