Cinderpaw headed back to camp, just behind Dreamcloud, when she heard her stomach growl. I wonder how stocked the fresh-kill pile is. She thought to herself, then looked up at her mentor. "Can I hunt? I'll be back at camp before sun high." She promised.

Cherryspring trotted alongside Orangescorch, then paused as he spoke. "Yeah, what is it?" She asked, wrapping her tail around her paws.

Nightstar tried clearing her throat, a slight burning feeling forming. "Nightstar?" She heard a voice, then instantly recognized Sparkfire. She turned her head, blinking into the darkness. "Yes?" She asked.

How about: Wolf has lost control with the balance, and is afraid that all will be lost with the Clans. He hopes that his desendants will keep the peace, but does not know that one of them is the one causing the destrusction of the Clans.

"I heard you coughing, I think you're sick." said Sparkfire simply.

Orangescorhch smiled clumsily. "Well, er, Cherryspring, you know I sort of had a thing for Blissheart and such, not many cats didn't know about it, and when she was with Owlcomet, I knew she wasn't for me... so..." Orangescorch paused and looked up at Cherryspring. "I wanted to know, if you liked me at all." he said.

Dreamcloud nodded. "Of course Cinderpaw, take Flintpaw with you though, I don't want you alone in the forest with Darkclan still ruffled about Stormclan's size."

Dogpaw burst into Darkclan camp. "I'm back! What did I miss!" he yowled excitedly, as if he had woken up an hour late rather than having gone to the other clan.

Almost everyone in camp's fur stood on end. "Dogpaw?! What are you doing here?!" yowled Jadewhisper.

Heartkit rushed over to her twin brother. "Dogkit! I missed you so much!" she purred, tackling him to the ground.

"Dogpaw now Heartpaw" Dogpaw purred in response.

"I learned battle-moves." purred Dogpaw. "bloodstar had talked to me and Jadewhisper before the battle, and he anticipated it. I was a spy." he purred.

Jadewhisper growled. "And you weren't supposed to come back until the next Gathering." she growled.

"I already learned some important moves though!" whined Dogpaw.

Nightcloud coughed violently and shivered as Spoolpaw raced past her. Her fears were coming true, Nightcloud would die of green cough this leaf-bare. Of this she was certain.
