"No," mewed Eaglepaw, "It wasn't clan scent at all and I would recognize fox scent, they killed Nailpaw's mother and father. It was rogue, not one I know but there are lot's in the forest,"

"Glacier!" Spoolweave mewed. "I just thought I wanted to talk to you..."She trailed off. "Is your wound okay? i wanted to check up on you." She felt stupid for saying that. She knew that Glacier would know that she didn't come to check on his wounds.

"Why wouldn't Spoolweave tell me she chased off a rogue?" asked Basil confusedly. Owlcomet shrugged after he finished building a nest for the medicine area. (He was a warrior sent to help Basil and Spoolweave, along with his mate, Blissheart) "Dogstrike and Heartclaw chased a rogue off Darkclan territory earlier today, maybe Spoolweave saw him." he asked. Iceblink cocked his head. "Who knows?" |

"Who knows," murmured Eaglepaw, still confused at the confusion of clan politics. She cockd her head, "Maybe she got beaten and didn't want to say," she trailed off, though she didn't believe that.

Glacier blinked in confusion. "I'm...fine.." he mewed. "I hope your Clan's okay...?" he said hesitantly. "And you, too..." he murmured. "I mean, being a medicine cat, you have to be okay!" he added quickly. His fur prickled uncomfortably. He gave her a half-smile. It was more like a smirk than anything else.

Spoolweave smiled. "See you later!...?" She ran off, collecting the herbs she had saw. And just to make sure, she rolled in some herbs, making it smell lke she'd been getting herbs, not talking to a rogue. "I got them!" She purred, and laid them down.

Basil wrinkled her nose. "You smell like you've been rolling in mouse bile." she said. Iceblink chuckled, leaving the medicine cats to themselves. He led Eaglepaw to the Darkclan border. "This is where the Darkclan scent markers are, do you get the scent now?" |
