"Hi Lynxpaw. Ready for a mentor?" Nightstar replied happily.

((Who did you want to be your mentor? Shadesky or Frostwing could be your mentor.))

Goodbye second post! 

Foxpaw suddenly grew scared. She dropped her ears and hid behind Nightstar. She looked at the other cats. So many! And they were all different! Suddenly, she felt the faintest touch of a tail on her shoulder. She turned, but no one was there. The scent of pine needles blew in the wind and she smiled. Swiftstar. She came out from behind Nightstar and held her head high. The scent of Swiftstar faded, but she felt that he was with her.

 Wolf stood up and tested his weight on his legs. They held him steady. he sighed and walked forward. He slowly shifted into a swift trot. He would go to Stormclan and see where Frostwing was. He couldn't be with her, but he could watch over her. When he reached the camp, he climbed into a high tree and hid himself in the shadows and leaves and gazed blindly at the large camp. He felt Foxpaw, the spirit of Swiftstar strong within her. He sensed Shadow, anxious. When he sensed Shadesky, he struggled to hold down his grief and anger and ignored him. He couldn't find Frostwing. Then he smelled Nightstar, proud and excited. He smiled.

Shadesky sprinted through the tunnels, happy for once. He loved having the adrenaline rush through him and feel like there was no tomorrow. He reached the entrance quickly, making his way around the brambles that stuck out in the darkness. He peered out, making sure nobody was looking. He stepped out, shaking the brambles off of him. He started toward Nightstar, until he smelled the air. Wolf. He looked up, and saw that Wolf was in a tree, and probably sensed that Shadesky had just come out of nowhere, or what seemed like nowhere. Even though Wolf could not see him, he stared coldly at him. Now he wanted to go back into the tunnels, where he could do whatever her wished. But he wanted to congratulate his mother.

Wolf felt Shadesky's cold stare. He returned it, though less cold. "She's yours now. Take care of her." He whispered in a hard and flinty voice. He was sure Shadesky could read his lips. Slowly, he retreated from view, still looking at the camp.

Foxpaw turned and saw Shadesky staring coldly at a tall tree. She looked up and saw just in time the flash of Wolf's river blue eyes as he disappeared.

Shadesky stared at the same spot until a few minutes had p*censored*ed. He felt something was up, but he wasn't sure. He didn't feel like congratulating his mother just yet, and he slithered back into his dark tunnels and Foxpaw watched.

((Foxpaw was looking at Shadesky, right? And maybe we really should make the plot: Frostwing falls for Wolf and then Shadesky feels a bunch of different emotions and so on. That'd be so much fun to RP!!!))

(( That last few words was PP, but okay. Tes. Im not sure I want to do that yet. I'll figure it out. ^_^ ))

Foxpaw watched Shadesky go. Then she sighed and turned back to the others.

Wolf sat in the tree, curled up. He tried to control his anger. He trembled with it. 

Chip backed away from Nightstar, she looked at her paws slowly and then looked up and walked up to Nightstar. "Nightstar I'm Chip, I would like to join your clan, I will fight to protect your clan and I will follow the warrior code,Please I wanna be an apprentice." 

Her blue eyes looked into Nightstar's eyes as confidentaly as possible. 

Foxpaw gently pawed Nightstar. She nodded her head at Chip then looked back at Nightstar. She thought adding Chip would be good for the clan.

 WOlf sighed and he stood up. he jumped down from the tree, the pain and grief a dull throb in the back of his heart. He walked through the forest, his eyes, for the first time, looking terribly sad. 

((oh sorry wolfmoon i thought Foxpaw was looking at Shadesky. :P and ok i just thoguht that it would be a good plot or whatever, but just tell me if you change your mind.))

Nightstar looked down at Chip, and then at Foxpaw as she looked at Chip, obviously wanting Chip to join. "Well, what could adding another apprentice to the Clan possibly be bad?" She smiled as she gave an approving nod to Chip." We'll hold the ceremony as soon as Shadesky gets back to camp. He should be the only cat not here."

Shadesky heard Nightstar talking about the ceremony, and left his emotions in the tunnels, but keeping the little happiness he had left with him. He quicklygot back out into camp and acted as if he was just coming out of the elder's den. He walked up to Nightstar. "I'm right here!" he said, trying to act happy. "Congratulations!"

Nightstar smiled at her son. "Thank you, and everyone else for congratulating me. Now, lets start that ceremony. We have many things to accomplish!

Skyshadow purred as she saw Nightstar approve of Chip, soon to be Chippaw. She gently nudged Chip over toward the tree stump where Nightstar would stand for the meeting. It was fairly high, but it would be no problem for Nightstar. "This is where she'll be naming you as apprentice." Skyshadow mewed to Chip.

(( Her name is Fox, but she is becoming Foxpaw. I just starte dusing the name. *shrugs* ))

Foxpaw gazed at Nightstar. She could faintly see the outline of Swiftstar standing next to Ngithstar, smiling down on her. She smiled as well and dipped her head slightly. Swiftstar dipped his own head and disappeared.
