Wolf walked through the dark woods, his paw steps silenced by the ground below him.  His sightless eyes gazing unseeingly in front of him. He heard the faint sounds of animals sleeping under ground. He heard the soft song of a jay bird and he smiled. He climbed a rather sturdy oak and he jumped branch from branch until he reached the top. He broke through the leaves and he gazed straight into the sky, his eyes unclouded with thoughts. A hawk soared by, dipping it's head at him. He could almost feel the softness of it's feathers as it soared by him. "I can hunt a hawk, yet not see it. Yet even with that skill, I yearn to see it flying high in the sky. I yearn to be a leader, yet cannot because I am blind." He quoted silently. His voice was like a crashing waterfall. Strong and tough, but beautiful all the way.

Fox trotted through the woods, her eyes scanning the area ahead of her. She had just heard a mouse creeping behind a berry bush. Her stomach growled loudly and she dropped into a crouch. She sniffed the air silently as she crawled forward. Suddenly, the mouse walked out from behind the bush, nibbling on a piece of corn. It had not noticed her. Thankfully, she was downwind. She tensed her muscles and prepared to spring. When the mouse finished it's kernel, she held absolutely still. Suddenly, she sprang and before the mouse could think anything of this, it was dead. She smiled, satisfied with her results. It was a large, plump mouse that would feed her well. She licked her chops hungrily and she tore into, finishing with a content lick of her lips. She was a truly inspiring hunter. She was also an amazing fighter. The only problem was, she had no voice to speak it.
