"Never ready. But what has to be done has to be done." She mewed quietly, a bit afraid of the agony she would feel and the power she would lose. 

"So what are you doing here if you're not a Clan cat?" Mystic asked Ace, moving her tail back in forth. "Huh? Who's that?" She pointed with her tail to the pair of eyes gleaming at her.

(( Lostpost. And no, Canis is not dead, but he is like his father only he can VISIT Starclan at his own will. He accidently visited Starclan when he fell asleep. ))

Canis snarled louder.

Swifstar had had enough. "Enough!" He cried. He placed a paw on Canis's head, taking all his weight of his paw. As soon as ht touched Canis, he felt a jolt go through him. he stumbled back and shook the jolt away.He stared at Canis, trembled slightly, and turned back to Nightstar. He slowly walked forward, chanting words unknown. The other starclan cats stayed put but spoke the same words. 

Annoyed by Canis's behaviour and curious as to why Swiftstar had stumbled back looking terrified, she swiped a paw at the young kit, cuffing his ear lightly. A jolt zipped through her, urging her to stagger back, but she remained still, glaring at the young kit even though she was about to die.

Relief flooded over Shadesky as Canis appeared Then a thought struck him. "Frostwing, is Canis a Clan cat or a rogue? That isn't really a Clan name

Canis rounded on Nightstar and glared back at her, his eerie eyes extremely unnerving....

Swiftstar gently placed a paw on Nightstar's forehead and he said the last words. "And let one life of the nine be taken from thy cat." he whispered. His paw glowed a very faint blue and he felt a jolt go through him as he took one of Nightstar's lives. 

Shadesky stepped back with a paw still in the air. Then he turned to see Wolf. Why was it that he looked so much like........Canis? He narrowed his eyes defeaningly, trying to hold back the tears he felt swelling up in his eyes. "I thought you said he was our kit," He started shakily, "But I guess not. Good luck with Wolf." He stepped back once more and turned around walking heart-broken away. Then he turned back around. "You aren't even aloud to have kits! It's against the warrior code!" He snarled, then racing up to where Wolf was with his mother. Nightstar's eyes were closed, and he knew she'd lost a life, seeing as huge amounts of blood were all over the place, starting to stain his lush fur.

Turning back to Swiftstar, Nightstar's stomach chruned and it felt as if her heart had exploded as Swiftstar took away her first life. Wincing painfully, she backed away, then stepped back up moments later. One down......two more to go. She held her breath as she waited for Swiftstar to take away her second and third life. She was glad she was in StarClan, because dieing didn't hurt as much as it would back in her own territory.

Wolf yowled with fury. he lashed at a tree, leaving deep claws marks. Tree blood oozed out of it instantly. His eyes were scrunched with fury and pain.

Swiftstar said the words again and again until finally, her three lives were gone. He stumbled backwards slightly and panted. "It is done."

Suddenly, Canis approached Nightstar and he took a one claw and traced the wound with his claw. The wound glowed and vanished. His eyes widened. "You are scarred no more." he said in a strange voice. 

Panting though relieved it was done, Nightstar nodded her head. Feeling a claw go gently over her scar, she turned her head to the right to find Canis tracing over her scar. "What are you-" She stopped talking as she blinked once and the scar was no more. "How did you do that?" Without any time for the kit to answer, her vision was swept away as she left StarClan and came back to life, her side throbbing a bit even though the scar had disapeared. She stood off, shaking her fur around until she was fully awake. She turned to see a scarred tree with Wolf staring right at it. Taking a few steps foward, the leaves underneath her crunched up as she got back into motion. "........Wolf?"

Shadesky turned back around to face Frostwing. "He's probably all tense because he's either having a nightmare, or he's cold from the wind blowing since he's not in the nursery. And face it, Frostwing. You obviously love Wolf more than you ever would me. Just look at how Canis and Wolf look like each other so much. It's way to soon for you to start kitting if I was actually your mate, you've known Wolf longer. And for your information, deputys aren't allowed to have kits."
