Bloodstar growled, turning onto his ex-deputy. He unsheathed his claws and clawed Deathfang's ears, tearing scars that would likely never heal into each. "Traitor!" he hissed into the bleeding ears as he regained his space, wobbling lightly. "DarkClan! Attack!" he ordered, flicking a tail towards Deathfang.

Jadewhisper leapt at Deathfang without hesitation, she had never liked him anyway.

Shadowfang growled louder, seeming to shout "TRAITOR!!" but he knew it was the rage of Starclan, shouting through him.

Foxtail leaped at him, landing on his back. He grabbed Deathfang's scruff, then wondered if this was the right time to kill. to avenge his leader. But that may have been a second wasted.

Foxleap padded happily through the patrol. She could feel Swiftstar beside her, brimming with pride.

Wolf watched as Frostwing disappeared with his son. He looked away and bowed his head, fighting off the waves of pain. The waves of his need. His want. He wanted his son. he wanted his mate. Badly. He clenched his teeth as the pain increased.

Canis woke up when he heard a silent slither. He padded silently towards the sound and he saw the snake. He laughed and easily, he jumped behind it and pinned it to he floor. it gave a hiss of anger and surprise. Bu before the snake could strike, Canis bit the muscle that connected to the whole snakes body and it died instantly. "Momma! Look! My first kill!" he laughed, dangling the dead snake from his jaws. 

Shadesky tried to lift his head, which now felt like the weight of 5 badgers. He was in the medicine den, and the...remaints of his erm...body, had been dispatched...yeah sure, lets go with that. He moaned deeply and grudgily. The stench of herbs smelled horrible, and he urged himself to stand up. Heaving himself upward, he fell down unexpectidly with a thud. He looked down, looking for something that might of tripped him, and only after a few moments did her notice he only had 3 legs. What in the name of StarClan? Am I dreaming? He looked around frantically, looking for anything that might wake him up. Finding nothing useful, he bit down into his left arm, blood oozing out of it slowly as he let out a painful shreik that was so loud it was mute. He tore up some moss from the make-do nest he was sprawled out on and covered up where his teeth had once been on his arm. So, he was awake, with only 3 legs. What's happening to me? My whole life is getting destroyed....oh StarClan, help me! But StarClan had already done what they could; save his life. the poison could of easily gotten through and into his heart, creating a slow and painful death for him, but they had risked what the did and saved him. Scared of himself now, mostly of his appearence, he carefully stoof up, with no right back leg. He steadily moved foward, walking out of the stenchy den and out into the open, where fresh-air hit his face.

Deathfang, trying to stay on, bit down harder on Bloodstar's neck, his name fitting perfectly. His claws were dug into his old leader's belly and his front paw's in Bloodstar's shoulders. There was no way Bloodstar could live without losing a life or two.

Sparkfire rushed over and pushed Shadesky back into his nest. "Mouse -brain! It'll be days before you're allowed to walk!" she hissed.

Bloodstar gasped a choking sputter and collapsed to the ground, blood running from his mouth. His eyes closed sudenly.

Nightcloud came out of the den, infuiated. "Stop!" she yowled, shoving all the cats off of Deathfang, and pushing them both away from Bloodstar. She rounded on Deathfang. "What did you do to him?!" she roared, fire in her eyes. Her long claws unsheathed and her teeth gleamed hazordously beneath her lips.

Jadewhisper's tail lashed, ready to leap in between the insane cat and her medicine cat if one lunged at the other. Blood ran from the side of her left eye, closed. Deathfang's claw had caught it.

Foxtail stopped at Nightcloud's word, but watched her carefully as he walked to his mate's side, then carefully looked at her eye. He licked it, then carefully whispered, "Have Nightcloud look at that when we're done here."

Shadowfang stopped, waving Foxtail off Deathfang. He watched as his leader bled to death. How many lives did he have left? He hadn't learned yet. The thing was Deathfang knew, and might be willing to kill him until he never came back. He sat there tensed, listening to Nightcloud, but watching Bloodstar and Deathfang.

Frostwing turned to see Canis, the snake dangling from his jaws. With a screech, she took her son in her jaws and ran him into Sparkfire's den, putting him next to Shadesky without glancing at him and she said, "Is Canis hurt? Poisoned? He found the snake, and killed it!! Don't let him die!!"

((Aahhhh, the motherly panic attack that drives all kids insane!!))

((After this, he'll have seven left just so ya know, Bloodstar only tells deputies and med cats and their apprentices.))

Sparkfire chuckled at Frostwing. "Do not fear, Canis did not get bitten. He is just a good snake catcher, give it to Shadesky, he might want to take out his anger on it." purred Sparkfire, giving Frostwing's shoulder a quick lick. "He'll be fine." she comforted.

Jadewhisper nodded in understandment. She backed up a little further. It was clear that Shadowfang had this under control. She glanced at Nightcloud. She was getting old. She wouldn't stand a chance against Deathfang.

Canis flattened his ears slightly and dropped the snake. "Whats wrong momma? Did I do something bad?" He asked in a sad voice.

Wolf watched them. When he saw the venomous snake in Canis's jaws, he felt a thrill of fear, then he began to calm. Canis cannot die. He was his son. The only way to die was the blow to a heart. And Starclan cats take more than one blow to die. He smiled slight.

Frostwing's fur laid down, as she said, "No baby. You just scared momma. But you're a very good boy."

Shadowfang looked at Nightcloud, then said, "Can you save him?"

Nightcloud gave a last glare to Deathfang and padded over to Bloodstar. She sniffed his pelt. "He's in Starclan now, but he'll be back." said Nightcloud, licking her son's pelt. She turned around and shot a fierce glance at Deathfang.

Suddenly, Bloodstar shuddered to life, all the mortal wounds he had had were healed. His tail lashed as he stood up, and Nightcloud ran over to support him. "Go." spat Bloodstar. "You have until dawn tomorrow to be out of DarkClan territory, and if you are found, no warrior is to hesitate from killing you." hissed Bloodstar. "Foxtail, Jadewhisper, Shadowfang, Fishleap, drive him out." he growled, flicking his tail in Deathfang's direction.

Jadewhisper sighed in relief that Nightcloud wouldn't get hurt, and turned fury onto Deathfang. She let out a feral growl, tail whacking Foxtail by accident. "Sorry, she muttered, ltting her tail lie down as she flexed her claws.

Foxtail smirked at his mate's anger, smilng evily as he followed her.

Shadowfang crouched down, whispering harshly, "I will count to three, if you're not out of this camp by then, you will die!" 

Deathfang glared evily at Shadowfang. "Like you'd be able to lay a paw on me." He growled, so low that Shadowfang would find a hard time hearing. He then stalked off, leaving behind his old Clan, his Clanmates and his old life. Now his bloodstained fur and the coldness seeping into his heart brought a new, what he thought better life for him. Just before exiting the tunnels of camp to go above ground, his final words were, "This isn't the end, and you'll regret your decision, Bloodstar." G;aring at what seemed likt every cat in the camp, he whisked around and sprinted off, out of camp and into the chilly air above, leaving the musky scent of the tunnels. He sprinted off, furious, as he for some reason ran straight for StormClan border. He at first had though about taking over one of the old Clan's territories, to start a new, powerful Clan of his own, but figured it would be better to start out with a Clan that already had cats. It would be easy to get past StormClan, their leader was too nice and welcoming. She'd probably let 5 kittypets in and some foxes in the camp and wouldn't care what happened.

Shadesky rolled his eyes at Sparkfire as she scolded him, then turned his scratched-up back towards her as Frostwing and Canis walked through and talked to Sparkfire. He closed his eyes, anger burning deep inside of him. He wished that he had his leg back, that he had Frostwing back, and that Wolf would disappear. His life was in pain and misery, and so were his emotions.
