It was as silent as a grave, quiet except for the eerie whistling moans that blew through the camp as if they were ghosts with wings upon their invisible backs. Heavy thunderheads drifted slowly across the sky like giant sky barges, occasional crackles of thunder echoing from them. The landscape stood barren, a muddy waste that stretched for miles on each end, peppered lightly with tall black trees with long twisted branches, testament of storms long gone. Canyons to the north towered over the plateau of dirt and earth, casting strange shadows over the arid vista. It was a dark night for sure, one that seemed to be haunted by the ghost Pokémon long dead and gone, once buried deep beneath the surface yet now free of the earth’s clutches. Thought trees seemed to be few and far in between in this fruitless terrain, one array of the lightning-seared trees soared majestically above the rest, their branches reaching the sky as if they were seeking to touch the bright unreachable stars. Though from outside it seemed like an impa.ssable place to delve in, for the branches intertwined together so tightly it all but formed a wall of impenetrable defense, to a trained eye it would look weaker than the most recently hatched Pokémon. Miniscule holes and entrances were dotted about the black trees, revealing decrepitude that could prove fatal to the clan which lived within, Inside the grove however, the Clan seemed to be revelling in the possible storm, the members cavorting about in a blurred multitude of bright yellows and gold. One member sat apart from the rest, a sombre ampharos who seemed to be deep in thought, glancing at the sky every few moments through a large hole in the top of the clan’s home. ‘It seems that this storm tonight will be large,’ said a suave bell-like voice from the ampharos, now judged to be a female of her kind. Dainty and tall for her kind the lightning Pokémon towered above the rest of her clan, though evidently thin-boned. ‘I hope the trees can survive a lightning strike,’ she began worriedly, clasping her forepaws together thoughtfully. ‘Though…no, I am sure the warriors will be able to hold that sort of energy. They have trained for moons now. And a few apprentices are ready to help as well.’ Giving her large yellow head a shake the leader of the clan raised one paw imperiously. A silence fell about the crowd immediately, giving her their full attention. ‘Dear Clan,’ she began softly, her voice rustling over the electric beings standing below. ‘Tonight’s storm shall be a large one and I for one shall not be taking chances. I want warriors stationed around the camp in case of a lightning strike.’ She glanced at her deputy Jeffersonian. ‘Is everything in order?’ she asked quietly, knowing the crowd would not hear her at this level.

IceClan An everlasting winter wonderland. That was the best way to describe IceClan territory. Fresh snow layered the ground like blankets and the trees reached towards the sky with forever bare branches, caked with snow that dripped down into icicles. The precious few trees that kept their needles in this iceland stretched out with a pristine beauty, just as covered in snow and icicles, but the green peeking out from the white and blue was something to be admired. In all its beauty, IceClan was a dangerous place. Avalanches and fallen trees were common and set at random, unpredictable intervals. The lack of food and warmth made living in a place like this unbearable. No Pokémon without the ice attribute could survive. Still, there were a few who could survive such a harsh place. Rose’s hot breath puffed out around his muzzle, looking like smoke as it crystallized from the cold. White frost had long since formed on his muzzle, caking it white. He was odd for a Lucario. His fur resembled the flower from which he’d been named. Most of his body was red, the rest a dark grey going into black. Odder still was a black collar that hung loosely around his neck. Never once had he removed it, nor told anyone where he’d gotten it. Not even his brother, his leader, knew. It had happened when they’d been separated. His fur fluffed up and his tail twitched slightly to rid itself of the numb feeling creeping its way from the tip to the base. This area was colder than the one to the east. Although his fur, once thin, had adapted to become much thicker and keep him warm, he’d only been united with his brother for a year in this clan. A year wasn’t long enough for him to fully adapt. The forest around him was reflected in his oceanic blue eyes, an odd trait for almost all Pokémon. His eyes were a clear, deep blue—so clear in fact, that few things in nature could match it. Perhaps a sapphire would dull his eyes, but those were rare. He’d never see one in his lifetime. His ears flicked off a bit of ice forming at their tips as he approached the only nettled tree in the area. It was a large one too, stretching up to the sky much farther than any around. It spread its branches far, making it wide enough to be half the IceClan Camp’s size. Snow covered it and the Lucario had to be careful when he pushed past the branches, only narrowly being missed by a clump of snow falling from the movement of the branches. Inside always managed to make him pause. Unlike the outside world, under these tree’s branches was completely devoid of snow. Instead, the ground was covered with a la yer of fallen needles that were soft under his paws. The reason for this hide-away was that the branches and needles were tightly knit, creating a shield from the snow and wind. The snow that stayed on the outside of the tree created insulation for the inside, making it much warmer. Already the frosted white was disappearing from his muzzle. The cool water that formed from the melting ran down his chin and chest, as were as anywhere else gravity took it, making his fur darker from wetness. No matter, he would dry quickly in this place. The reason for this place was not just to bask in the warmth that most Lucarios needed, it was a secret place that no one, not even Ghost knew about, for Rose to train without being caught. Up until now, no one had known that trees such as this one were hollow for a large area under them. It was almost like a tent. With a soft sigh, Rose made his way to the trunk of the tree. Wrapped around the thick wood was something quite odd: snow ivy, a plant that looked like regular ivy, but was much thicker, hardier, and was a soft icy-blue color. They looked rather worn out—the result of Rose’s labor—but still seemed unbreakable. Carefully, the red Lucario unwrapped the ivy and laid it out in straight rows so they wouldn’t get tangled before taking a few steps back, watching them as if they’d rear up and strike at any moment. For a while he just stood there, listening to the pounding of his heart in his ears, before he finally shifted. He spread his legs slightly in a stable stance, slowly extending his left arm as he exhaled. He closed his eyes, moved his right arm slowly forward, directing the flow of energy. As he did this, he slowly pulled his left arm back until it was parallel with his lowest rib. His paw curled into a fist and as he opened his eyes, they became covered by pale, glowing lavender. Suddenly, his wrist twitched and the vines really did rear up, lashing around as if the nature of the plant itself was resisting his control. Rose’s muzzle twisted in an uncharacteristic snarl as he tried to force the vines still. One struck out at him, striking him across the cheek and causing him to yelp out in pain. He jumped backwards, his eyes returning to normal the snow ivy falling to the ground with small thumps. His eyes narrowed in pain as the wound on his cheek stung, oozing blood that was invisible against his fur, only becoming visible when it dripped from his jaw and down onto the needles. For a moment, he swayed, before falling to his knees, catching himself with his front paws. His head stayed down as he let out choked gasps, his fur soaked with sweat. His training was never easy, but today he’d been off. He’d lost control so fast—no, he’d never had control from the start. Something was wrong, but what? Another small gasp escaped him as his vision blurred and his arms gave way. He collapsed to the needle-covered ground soon after. His eyes slipped closed and his body relaxed as he lost consciousness. ((There's really no point to this xD All it did was make Rose unusable for a while, but it's longer than Sarya's post! 8D))

Can't do this until there is a leader for GhostClan)) ------------------------------------------------- Blike growled slighty, watching his leader in the sky. He wondered, momentarily, why he couldn't do that. It was so unfair that their leader was a Flying type, but was still the leader of Powerclan. Alright, so she was an extremely powerful pokemon, but still. The thoughts ran through his head like wildfyre, finally growing so big that the small tyrogue sat down, rubbing his blue legs. He lay down on his back, watching the sky with bright red eyes that seemed to pierce through the cloudiness of the sky. With any luck, there would be a storm tonight. One, it would mean getting out of practice and two, he wouldn't have to worry about someone from Shockclan because they would be to busy lapping up the electricity. He shuddered, how could anybody eat electricity. Even for ana electric pokemon it was strange. The tyrogue shot upwards onto the branch of a nearby tree. He gazed out at the camp, as was his duty. Although he was still an apprentice, because his mentor was often away, Blike took his duties of watching over camp. He sighed and leaned back against the great bulk of the mejestic tree that seemed to go so high that a bird pokemon would have to fly to space just to see the end of it. With extreme practice, he leaped up a few more branches. The camp, hidden with all its brambles and trees was made impossible, or so it seemed, to break into. The camp was as visible to him as bug types are to a flying type way up in the sky, to put it simply, not very well. He smiled as he thought of the camp while gazing at it. The area was like a circle with nettles and stingers making it nearly imposible to escape if you were imprisoned or get in. This was part of the reason that Blike liked it up here. To him, he seemed unreachable, though everybody knew that most of PowerClan was as good a jumper as he was. With a slight jump, the strange tyrogue landed lightly on the ground. He felt the bruises on the bottom of his feet that had seemed to heal and now were no more than little bumps that sometimes made him wince in slight pain. He sighed and gazed up at his ferocious leader. He knelt to the ground in a bow before the salamnce, laying his head on the ground as if she was a legendary, which with her rank, she might as well be. He wouldn't stand again until Crystal said for him to. He seemed to be the only one that still honored the ancient ways, even though he hadn't been alive, his mother and father had taught him welll... -------------------------------------------------
Rave's wings beat as he rose higher and higher into the dark sky. He gazed down at the earth, his sharp eyes pinpointing his prey, so to speak. He dove and came to a halt right about the plants. He lowed his great head and grabbed the herbs in his beak. Storms were almost always fatal, what with some apprentice being stupid enough to fly in the thunder. Not one storm had gone by without someone dying and he seemed to be losing his touch. The staraptor took to the skies once more with the herbs balancingin his wide beak. When he spottedcamp after flying for a few miles, he landed in the caves on the cliff side. He ran swiftly into his den and lay down the herbs on the stack, making sure that they were kept in the autumn leaf bowl that he had crafted. He placed the oran berries into the 'bowl' and swiped his claw over the lid, marking it with a tiny ckeck like mark whic seemed to be his seal of approval. With the storm coming, his job was about to get a lot harder. If a staraptor could cry, he would have done it. He thought of the birds that had died from his irresponsibilty and then thoguht of the little shinx he had saved so long ago. His mind wandered and the 'tears' stopped. His eyes turned cold with a fiery p*censored*ion. There was no way another youngling would die tonight, not on his watch, not today... -------------------------------------------------

WaterClan A soft black nose poked its way out of the Healer's den, followed by a short muzzle than a weasel-like face. The Healer's den was a little higher than the rest of the camp, built up by rocks that kept it dry even during the rainy season. This protected the herbs from getting wet as well as provided safety for injured clan-members who couldn't swim in times of emergency. Gin could smell the fresh prey and knew his leader must have returned. His head disappeared into his den for a moment before reappearing with some herbs in his mouth. He scampered over to Feyth, only to find she was already asleep. With a soft sigh, he placed the herbs beside her for when she woke up before crawling over to curl up beside her belly protectively. He really couldn't wait to help deliver such important young. To him, it was a real honor, even if it wasn't usually supposed to happen. ((I'll do ShockClan's post next, sorry Typo D: And I have a very interesting Idea for a member of GhostClan. x3 *will work on that too*))

Crystal looked down at Blike. He seemed to respect her greatly, which made her blush slightly. "Blike, I see you show great respect to me. You are such a wonderful member of my clan." She was starting to feel odd, she wasn't really fond of being worshiped. Noticing that he hadn't gotten up yet, she began to talk again. "You can get up now." She said. "And you know there will be a storm tonight, right?" Crystal asked. She just wanted to make sure Blike knew, she didn't want him to have no idea and end up stuck in the rain. But she doubted that would happen. He was a pretty smart Tyrogue, she found him rather interesting. He seemed to honor the ancient ways. ((-fail- I need to get off soon. >.<))

"Yes Miss Crystal, I have seen the clouds, they seem to mean rain." The apprentice was wise beyond his years, but he had his quirks. If there was rain, he couldn't help but train in it, as long as nobody was watching, and he was too curious for his own good. He got to his paws and started to turn away. "One more thing, I believe I have seen that one of the roofs of our dens has been ripped off, shall I fix it?" His red eyes stayed stead as he gazed into her eyes...

"If you are talking about my den, than you don't have to. It's supposed to be like that. It has a removable roof, and when I need to have shelter I just put it on. And if you are talking about someone else's den, you may go fix it. And after that you deserve a good rest, young Tyrogue. You must regain your energy." Crystal said. "Now I must go put my roof on."

"No, not your den Miss Crystal, the warrior den. I do believe my mentor would scold me if I just put it off. He bowed again and trotted away. When he was at the den in question, he took a bunch of big leaves from the pecha berry tree, a great tree whose wide leaves gave great protection, and layed them on top, glueing them together with a sticky substance called sap. It took him a while, but it wqas finally finished. Now he was curious, what did sap taste like. He licked his finger and then spit it out, grimacing. Not every good...

((Det, i'm not sure. xD And I got an interesting post, so read. ;D The first paragraphs aren't interesting, but the others are. xD)) Crystal nodded at Blike, then she flapped her wings and took off into the air again, still below the trees receiving the shade it provides. The air was slapping her again as she flew, for she was flying rather fast. So fast that she could almost feel nothing but wind touching her body. While it relaxed her, it also gave her a feeling or courage. One that made her believe that anything is possible if you try hard. And it's true, you can do just about anything when you put your mind to it. You can't just expect to get food without working, you must work like everyone else. She wasn't really flapping her wings once she was in the air, it was more like gliding really fast. But every once in a while she would flap her wings hard, one or two times, to keep herself in the air. She wasn't a Gliscor, and didn't fly by riding the wind. She had to control herself. Soon she reached her house, and swiftly swooped down, landing on the ground sending gusts of wind flying everywhere. But the gusts of wind weren't enough to destroy anything luckily. Crystal wouldn't ever land hard if that would happen. She glanced up at the sky, and between the trees she could see the grey clouds. They looked like they were swirling, but then if they were it would be much more serious, not just a storm. She swung the roof onto her back, and flew up into the air again. She tipped a little once she was above the house, and the roof began to fall. She did that intentionally, it was easier for her that way. Then she swooped down, catching it with her mouth. She then placed it on top of her house, and now it had a roof. And no door. But she could easily take it off and put it back on when she wanted to get in or leave, so it wasn't such a big deal. "Good." She said, examining her roof, still in the air. There weren't any cracks or openings in it, and it was pretty thick. Satisfied, Crystal decided to go above the trees and check on the storm. Earlier today it was so sunny, and now a storm is coming. It shocked Crystal how things can change so quickly, like you could be talking with your friend for one moment, and then the next you two are fighting trying to rip each other's head off. She might be a leader, but she still has some things that she is yet to learn. Actually, many things, like everyone else. Just because she is a leader that doesn't mean she knows everything, she just has slightly more knowledge and leadership than the rest, and that doesn't make her any different in most ways. She was actually smiling at this thought. But her smile soon faded, and her face was serious. She flew up through the gap between the trees, and was into the sky. She felt like she was in a grey dull chamber of doom, the sky was so....... ugly and depressing right now. Just staring at it almost took away all her happiness. But the storm would come soon, and later it would be over. The world can't always stay pretty, especially when there is war. Blood and dead bodies everywhere, it just wasn't right. Crystal would never kill someone unless she needed to, death doesn't need to happen sometimes. Not everyone deserves it. Only the truly evil ones deserve it, actually, no one deserves it. There isn't a single truly evil person in the world, everyone has some kindness deep down inside them, no matter how small. But Crystal would still need to kill others, for food or because she is in danger and has to kill the enemy.

((Make a member of IceClan or WaterClan Dx)) ShockClan Jeffersonian sat a ways off from his leader, close enough to hear what she was saying and be separated from the crowd, but far enough away so his large form did not draw attention from her. He was only half-listening to Shinaruia, his focus was on the surroundings, making her voice sound distant but still audible. He was hearing her words as she address the clan, but his attention was on the sky. It did look like it'd be a large one. He was experienced with these kinds of storms. In fact, he'd sensed one earlier that day and had appointed the warriors positions around the camp that they should go to if a storm developed. ShockClan was in an odd position at these time, or at least that was how the Shiny Luxray saw it. They thrived on the electrical storms that pas.sed over the camp, but the land around them suffered. It was a muddy wasteland from the strikes. In a way, this land hurt the Electric Pokemon, weakening them. He started to wonder if there was another way to go about this, where both the land and the clan could completely prophet. However, his thoughts were interrupted by his leader's soft voice, softer than before. She was speaking to him. He padded over to her to sit closer, nodding respectfully. "Yes," he answered back, his voice it's naturally smooth and calm tone. He as well was keeping his voice low. "I gave the warriors their positions earlier, but I will station a few more just to be safe." He watched her carefully, waiting to see if she had anything more to say, or if she would dismiss him to his duties. Even as deputy, the second in command, he still followed his leaders orders. ---------------------- Gauche watched Shinaruia address the clan from the edge of camp, his eyes a burning hatred. His tail lashed back and forth. How could a Pokemon so frail and soft be a leader> It frustrated him. Even his idiot brother would make a better leader, if he ever manned up and decided he wanted it. The both of them were fools, leading this clan to destruction. Lightning stuck their territory so often because they were all Electric types; it was draw to them. It made their territory the only thing that could weaken them. In his mind, it would be easy for the Clan to take another's territory and use that to feed instead. Their land would fall to ruins and ShockClan would be next to invincible. A low grow escaped his throat. Someday... Someday he'd rid this clan of that foolish Ampharos and his brother. Then this clan would prosper like it was supposed to. ---------------------- Near was also watching from the edge of camp. It was a different edge from Gauche, but it was away from the others nevertheless. He frowned as he looked towards the sky. Why did it have to be tonight for there to be a storm? Why couldn't he have some peace? Unlike most members of his clan, Near could not stand the electricity that supposedly gave the others life. It'd been like that ever since he'd been born. His body needed it, but at the same time it couldn't tolerate it. It was for this reason the poor Luxray was so small and frail. He ate fruits and sometimes small Pokemon, but it was not enough to give him the strength he needed. His fur was messy and had lost the shine that most kept from birth and his ribs stuck out from under it. With a small noise of pain. He pushed himself up and slipped out of the camp, ignoring the mud as it clung to his paws. He would visit another clan until the storm was over. PowerClan tonight. He loved their forests and, even though they disliked outsiders, they would not kill him if he was caught. He'd done this "Clan hopping" for quite some time. He'd be able to hunt and rest there through the night, then slip back into ShockClan camp once the storm settled or morning came. His pawsteps were quick and eventually the wasteland that was his home gave way to the lush forests of PowerClan. Instantly, his body seemed to relax slightly and his steps slowed to a nice pace as he enjoyed the area. Something about this place was refreshing to him, even if it was only temporary. ((Geh, I probably should have finished Near's bio so you knew what to expect. Oh well, now you know. ;P Someone should find Near ;D))

Blike got off the now fixed roof and started towards the enterence of poerclan. He walked out a little ways and found Near. His eyes turned cold, but only just. "You have no right to be here." He growled, lifting his leg in a Samurai stance, ready to fight the moment Crystal told him to. He glared at the other pokemon...
