Dawnfrost padded over to her apprentice.  Luckily, she had already eaten long ago.  "If they're ok with it, I'm ok with it," she mewed.  "You can ask them to come if you wish."  Her tail swished back and forth for a while before Dawnfrost curled it around her paws.

Silverstar padded sofly out of her den, annoyed at herself for sleeping so late, but amused at the bustle of her Clan. She purred affectionatly, happy from the sun. She padded up to Ravenwing, and asked, "I'd like to take the sunhigh patrol today. Would you mind watching the camp while I'm gone?"

Moonflower awoke suddenly to find a kit poking her repeatedly in the side. "Stop that, Rainkit" She said, but wrapped a tail around him fondly. "Where did Stormkit and Brightkit get off to?"

(FAIL>)

You STILL haven't replied to Poolpaw. )

(Oh. Hear.)

"How about you go find some herbs?" Nightfrost suggested. "We're running low on catmint, do you think you could find some?" She curled her tail around her paws. "We might need it, you never know."

"Yeah, sure," Poolpaw said.  Stepping lightly on her paws, she bounded out of the medicine den and into the forest to look for some catmint.  While foraging for the herb, she noticed a... strange scent.  "What's that?" she mumbled to herself.  Ignoring it, thinking it was probably nothing, she continued to look for catmint.  Finding a large amount, she grabbed it all.  But the weird smell struck his nostrils again.  Leaving the catmint nearby, the apprentice padded towards the scent.  What the heck was it?

Suddenly, only a few tail-lengths ahead, Poolpaw heard a very low growl.  Scenting the air, she realized what it was:

Badger.

Soon, it noticed her and pounded after the young cat.  Scared, Poolpaw screamed for help.  Swiftly grabbing the catmint along the way, she led the badger into a river.  Stealthily, Poolpaw got away and the badger wasn't seen again.

But it was probably still roaming the forest.  Poolpaw needed to speak with the leader.  Hurriedly, she ran back to camp.  Screeching to a halt in the medicine den, she dropped the catmint, her breath coming in large gasps.  She had been thoroughly frightened.  "NIGHTFROST! NIGHTFROST!!! NIGHTFROOOOOSSSTTT!!!!!!" she shouted.

Nightfrost leapt backward in suprise. "What, what happened? Is something wrong?" The apprentice looked terrified, and Nightfrost was now terrified too. She awaited the answer.

Blackear had heard the commotion coming from Poolpaw, and stood outside the medicine den. "What's going on?"

(EEW FAIL. eeku.)

"Stay out of this, Blackear," Poolpaw calmly said.  Turning to her mentor, she whispered in her ear: "A badger is in the forest."

(EEEEEEWWWWW SUCH A FAIL! DX )

Nightfrost gasped. "You need to warn Silverstar." She mewed as she watched Blackear leave. "Where did you see the badger?" She asked quietly. "Was there just one?"

(EEEEEWW)

"I... I saw it... I saw it around the middle of our territory.  It's made a den.  I only saw one, but there might've been more.  Possibly a family," Poolpaw said worriedly.  "And I agree, Silverstar should know right away."

(Eeku!!)

Nightfrost nodded. "Go tell her everything. Now." Nightfrost motioned for Poolpaw to go.
