Almost...just a little closer..Pepper thought to himself as he edged closer and closer to him prey. With one pounce he caught it and began to carry his rabbit back to the spot where he had left his sister, Velcrow. She lay crouched next to a hollowed out tree and he pranced proudly over to her and droped the rabbit at her paws. "Here, that ones for you" he said as he sat down and licked the bit of blood off his mouth.

Velcrow looked at the huge rabbit "what about you aren't you going to eat?" she asked as she began to eat the rabbit.

Pepper smiled and shook his head "no i already ate while i was hunting. And besides, your going to need it with that injured paw" he said as he licked her gashed paw. She had gotten the gash from a baby badger a few days ago.

Blackheart lay in the warriors den. He opened his crystal sleep-gazed eyes to see daylight peeking through the brush. He squeezed his way out into the clearing and headed for the fresh kill pile and picked out a plump vole and carried it into the shade of a tree a few feet away.

Whiteclaw waited paitently by the river. He saw a fish infront of him and a few moments later it was on the bank and he was waiting for another one. As soon as he had caught a couple of fish for the clan he settled himself down and began to lick the water from his pelt.

"C'mon you vole-minded twit! Quit bein' so slow!" Widowtalon hissed, it was bad enough he decided to take Sightclaw, the medicine cat of Shadowclan, with him. He made up his mind to go border patroling that morning, he really didn't want to do anything his mouse-brained leader told him. Or so he thought.

Sightclaw trotted up just to catchup with the fast paced warrior, Widowtalon. "W-widowtalon...aren't we gonna be in trouble if we do Greynose and Fastswipe's job?" he stated nervously, squinting a bit so he could see.

Widowtalon snarled under his breath, "Yes Sightclaw... And if y'keep openin' your mouth I'm gonna scratch it off!" he hissed once more, walking up only to spot two younger cats, hunting around Shadowclan borders. "Well lookie here! Tresp*censored*ers!!"

What does this mean...my eyes are a prophecy? Deepstar thought, as he gazed down at Thunderclan from above on a perched rock. He gave a big yawn, before leaping down to the fresh-kill pile and snatching a red-breasted robbin. "I wish Birdpelt were here...she'd know what to do..." he mumbled through his food.

Pepper heard somthing from behind him and looked up. He instantly crouched down, fur bristleing and tail high up as he growled showing his teeth. He wasn't going to let his sister be killed like this.

Velcrow was crouched behind her brother looking fearfully up at the two great wile clan cats.

Widowtalon lashed-out, tackling the angry cat. "You ain't getting away!" he yowled, pushing his un-sheathed claws/paws onto the cats throat.

Sightclaw jumped a bit at Widowtalon's sudden action, and he flattened his ears back. Glancing from the "fight" to the younger female behind, he realized that they didn't mean to intrude. "Widowtalon!!" he yowled demandingly. He padded swiftly over to the warrior and clawed him off the youth, hissing in his face. 

Shocked, Widowtalon crouched under Sightclaw, knowing that the medicine never got angry and when he did; it wasn't a game anymore. "Tch-Sightclaw these are in-"

"No, they aren't Widowtalon...they're rogues who had no idea these are Shadowclan borders...anyways, you cats, who are you? And after this you MUST leave."

Pepper was already on his paws a few scratches on his throught but he was fully prepared for a surprised attack "We are rouges who have lost our mother, im called pepper and my sister, Velcrow have no where to stay we are sorry for intruding and shall leave the area" he said as he met the gaze at the cat who had clawed at him his fur lying almost flat.

Velcrow still crouched behind her brother ears back and a grateful look in her eyes as she looked at the cat who had stopped the other tom from killing her brother.

Widowtalon cursed under his breath and looked crossly at his leader, "They just explained that they're rogues who didn't know where they were..." he said, watching Fallenstar with hate glazed over in his eyes. He really didn't like to be told what to do, but he didn't want to go back to the hell-hole he was living in before.

"Yes, Leader Fallenstar, the two youngsters had no idea what they were doing." Sightclaw explained, avoiding his leaders face for he didn't want any trouble with the leader of his own clan. "We apologize for our attitude, and defying your commands for Border Patrol."

"I don't..." Widowtalon scoffed under his breath, watching the two rogues.

Deepstar looked around at his territory, he was pretty happy to've gotten up to owning Thunderclan. "Scratchtail, Lighteningfur!" he meowed, while two warriors bounded over. "Yes Deepstar?" they both asked, the twin cats looked as if they had been in a game of tag, seeing that they were panting. "I'd like you to go on a quick border patrol, and go now." he commanded and the two nodded and ran off.

Fallenstar glanced at Widowtalon with annoyance but understanding. "That is quite alright Sightclaw, as long as the borders have been patrolled and no other clan is across our borders then everything is alright." He smiled gently at the medicine cat, but his eyes turned steely as he glanced at Widowtalon once more. "Next time ask them before attacking." He growled, flicking his ear back with slight hostility. "They might just be p*censored*ing through."

Pepper watched the leader as he gave a flick of his tail to his sister signaling that it was time to go. He waited untill she was fully into the brush before turning and following her. They trotted out of the territory and found the thunderpath. They both crouched and hid their face as a monster roared by blowing smoke in their direction. "C'mon lets go now" he said as he listend carefully for a monster but heard nothing. Pepper quickly ran accross and noticed his sister was near the edge. With the big gash in her foot she wasn't moving fast enough. Then he pricked his ears as he heard the upcoming roar of a monster in the distance. He quickly ran back over to his sister who was frozen in fear by the sound. The monster was just about to hit her when Pepper grabbed her scruff and yanked her out of the way. They quickly ran into the brush and sat to catch their breath.

Blackheart saw his leader rush out of camp and decided it would be best to follow incase of danger. He came up to his leader who was next to Sightclaw and Widowtalonl. He stopped behind them and saw two small figures run off into the brush. "who were they? and why did you let them go?!" he said as a low rumble of a growl came up from his chest.

Widowtalon walked over and sat beside Blackheart, his idol. "I don't know, but next time they come back I'll kill them..." he said to Blackheart with a hint of annoyance in his voice.

Sightclaw rolled his eyes and trotted back to camp and into his den, and began to sort out his herbs and healing roots.

Blackheart's fur bristled his leader's stubborness got on his nerves so much. rouge kits grow up! he growled in his mind as he looked over at the two. "Go make sure they left, if you find them again, kill them." he stated heartlessly as he started off back towards the camp.

Falconwing almost hissed at Blackheart but decided against it, knowing he';d claw her ears off. Sighing, she wanted to claws her own ears off at being left with the most vicious warrior in Shadowclan, and they were all cold. Please Starclan let those two be far away from here." She thought helplessly.

Fallenstar glanced over his shoulder at Blackheart and stopped short to whirl around and face his deputy, fangs bared. "Stop giving me a look like I am stupid for letting those two leave. If we slaughtered them what would every other clan think, that we're blood thirsty and that they should rid of us by ganging together and destroying us!" He snarled. "Think before you act, that why im leader." He started back towards camp, fur bristling. He tried to be a good leader, calm and not to aggressive. But his warriors tried his patience. 

Widowtalon nodded and stalked off after the two kits, dropping his bottom jaw to let scents brush over his scent glands. He smelt Pepper's scent and soon after, Velcrow's scent flew into his nose. "Ah, decided to venture into weaker spots? Takin' quite the risk..." he yowled to himself with a smirk. Soon, he came apon a brush that had the kits scent all over, and he meowed, showing himself. "Well lookie here!"

Scratchtail smelt something at the direct border and looked back at her brother. "Lighteningfur! Some lot's intruding! We gotta hurry!" she reowed, and stumbled to a Shadowclan cat who was about to attack two kits. "HEY! YOU LEAVE NOW!" she hissed in anger, and her fur bristled in fury. Lighteningfur trotted up behind his sister with his fur bristling also, "Yeah, WIDOWtalon! You're not a Thunderclan warri-"

Widowtalon hissed and arched his back, "These rogues are not in Thunderclan territory, theys along the borders y'see?!" he hissed, flicking dirt into the cats direction with his tail. "I can do what I please with them!"

Lighteningfur growled, and pushed and scratched at Widowtalons flank, then they soon ot into a fight, Scratchtail then pulled the kits over onto Thunderclan territory and looked at them with worry. "You two, follow me and we'll get back to Thunderclan!" she mewed, and nudged the cats to follow her, but taking Velcrow into her jowls for she saw the gash in her leg. Lighteningfur continued to fight Widowtalon before the cat had bolted off, knowing that the sister and other reinforcements might come soon, and then Lighteningfur ran off to Thunderclan territory.

Pepper watched the warrior bound off and quickly followed the she-cat that had his sister. They soon came up on a gorse tunnel and followed the she-cat inside. His fur bristled as he saw all of the cats looking at them. He watched them he instinctively unsheathed his claws as they were surrounded. As soon as Velcrow was set down he jumped infront of her his fur still on end.

Velcrow watched all of the huge well-built cats and hid behind her brother.

Nighthawk stretched and yawned, her mouth showing her sharp fangs. She padded out of the warrior's den and to the Fresh-kill pile. PIcking up a caffinch, she sat down and began to crunch it up. 

Scratchtail smiled down at the two, "Its ok, you don't have to worry now, you're safe here." she mewed softly, and looked up at the clan. "We don't have a medicine cat...so if anyone knows anything, please help the kitten." when no one came up to relieve the kitten and Scratchtail of her, Scratchtail looked down. Lighteningfur ran up behind his sister panting, then began to lick his wounds. 

Deepstar had padded over to the commotion and looked down at two rogue kits, "Whats going on?" he demanded, looking up at Scratchtail and Lighteningfur. 

"A member of Shadowclan had tried to kill these two, and Lighteningfur fought him off and away. So I decided to save their lives.." Scratchtail explained.

Deepstar sighed, and looked around, "Take these two to the fresh-kill pile and we'll see what we can do..." he said with another sigh, sounding much more worried.While the cats went off to do as they were told, he padded off behind his den, and wandered into a so called safe small forest that he went to think.

Widowtalon arrived at Shadowclan camp with nearly healed wounds, thanks to having Sightclaw as his follower, he learned how to heal himself. He swiftly walked over to the fresh-kill pile and took a rat from it, then carried it off to a star gazing rock that he called "his only".
