Nightstomr followed Thunderpaw quickly keeping low to the ground and keeping silent as he padded just behind her. He stayed outside the Quail nest waiting for Thunderpaw to come out with a full muzzle as she carried out the catch but insead out hurred a mother Quail sqwaking as loud as one of the momsters he had seen a few times when he was a young warrior. He was bit startled by it but stood back not interfering with Thunderpaws catch. He watched as she hurried out after the bird and quickly brought it down.

Thunderpaw carried the hen and the chicks by their feet to her mentor and dropped them at his paws proudly before sitting, curling her tail around her paws, and washing her face with mock dignity and maturity.

"Great job." Nightstorm said watching the Thunderpaw sit up with so much pride it was hard for him to keep a bit of laughter but he mannaged. "I think it's about time for the last protion of the test. Go and catch as prey out in the far north part of the territory and mett me back at the training medow by sun high. I'll carrie back the Quails for you so you have more time to hunt." Nightstorm mewed picking up the birds and nodding his head to Thunderpaw, "I know you'll pass this time." He said padding away back in the direction of camp. One he got back he set the birds down in the fresh kill pile and walked up to Raven'sWing sitting down next to her.
"You think she'll pass this time around?" The black she-cat asked sitting up and looking up at her leader. "Oh I know she will this time. She has improved much over the past moon and theres no doubt in my mind that she will pass." He said wrraping his tail around Raven'sWing's middle and sitting closer to her. |

Thunderpaw nodded and raced off. She found herself a while away from where she had caught the quails and decided to hunt larger animals this time. Maybe she could even find a fox! She licked her lips in anticipation and began her hunt.

During the first hour or so of her hunt, she'd managed to catch two mice, a squirrel, two rabbits, and a finch. She supposed the catch would do but she had really wanted to find a fox.
As the young she-cat began dragging her load back to camp, she picked up the stale smell of an adult fox and the much more recent scent of a young kit. Even a kit would be good to kill. Kits grew into adults and adults were dangerous to the cats. Thunderpaw stashed her kill and scented out the fox burrow.
It was pretty easy to find the den, and the dead mother fox. Only one kit survived now and it was no problem for Thunderpaw to dispatch and add to her load, its fluffy red pelt sticking out among the browns of the other prey. Thudnerpaw hauled her prizes back to the training hollow to meet her mentor.

Nightstorm had arrived at the medow a moments before Thunderpaw had. He could see a red tail with a whit tip sticking out of the pile and his mouth nearly dropped. "You caught a fox?" He asked. He had seen a few warriors take down a fox but never an apprentice. Usually they were scared out of their wits of fox's, "It's no question that you've passed this time Thunderpaw. I'll make arrangements for the ceremony at tonights clan meeting." He said smiling at the she-cat. He walked with her back to the hallow letting her set down the prey with the rest of the fresh kill in the clan.

Thunderpaw's chest swelled with pride and she purred through the prey in her jaws all the way back to camp where she swiftly deposited the prey and rushed off to the apprentice den to begin cleaning herself and sharing tongues in her nest for the last time. Tonight, although she would be sitting vigil, she would find a nest in the warrior den and she was extremely happy. She washed her coat until its sleek fur gleamed.

Nightstorm watched as the soon to be warrior headed off to the apprentice den. He had just sat down when that small gray kit padded up to him again, "I heard Thunderpaw is gonna become a warrior today." He looked up at Nightstorm, "I will too soon, right?" He asked with an expectant look in his eyes. "Well you have to go through training first remeber?" Said Nightstorm, "Yeah yeah I know." The kit turned and padded away. |

Finally, Thunderpaw walked out of the den, tail twitching excitedly. After a whole moon of wondering if she'd ever be a warrior, it was finally happening! A purr rose in her throat as she stepped lightly over to the fresh-kill pile and chose a plump vole and settling down in her usual place near the edge of the camp to eat. She gulped it down quickly and ran her tongue over her lips. The young, soon to be warrior, then made her way to the medicine cat den with a mouse for Silentstep, eager to tell him her news.

Silentstep nearly jumped as a cat entered his den. When he smelled the familiar scent of smoke and mouse, he new it was Thunderpaw. He padded out from his private den in the back of the medicine cat den and touched noses with the young she-cat after she dropped the fresh-kill she'd brought him. As he ate, she shared her news. "I'm finally going to be a warrior!" She said excitedly, her tail tip twitching. Silentstep purred. "Well done!", he meowed earnestly.

((I'm back and I guess I'll just time skip to when the ceremony is))
Nightstorm hoped onto the large stump where the clan meetings were held and yowled loud and clear signaling a clan meeting. Raven'sWing padded over from a group of friends she was hanging out with before the meeting and sat down in front of the sumping giving Nightstorm a soft smile. Nightstorm returned the smile and waited a few moments for the rest of the clan to gather be fore he started talking, "We all know an over-due apprentice named Thunderpaw. I regret ever not passing her last moon but she need a bit more training and now here we all are a moon later celebrating her becomeing a warrior. Step forward Thunderpaw." He said looking down at the ginger she-cat. |

Thunderpaw had been sitting next to Silentstep at the foot of the stump and now she stepped lithely before the gathering of cats, whole tail flicking excitedly as she looked up at her mentor and leader, a purr rising once again from her chest.

"From now on you will be known as Thunderspark." Nightstorm said. The clan started chanting Thundersparks name starting out kind of quiet but soon the whole clan was involved in the rythmic words of the cats name. Nighstorm started to chant the name lightly as the new warrior steped down from the stump and into the thick mass of the clan. Nightstorm jumped down from the stump after the new warrior and noded to her with a smile.

Thunderspark lifted her head proudly and touched noses with her mentor before facing the clan as they chanted her new name loudly. She then trotted back over to Silentstep, touching noses with him as well before sitting beside him. He'd been the closest thing to a father she'd ever had and the look in his eyes made her even happier.

((Sorry I wasn't yester day or the day before really but my g-ma's here and yeah she needs me to do pretty much everything for her (including bathroom thing...eww) but yeah she's here this week and half of the next so if I don't responed thats why and just bump the page so I can find it please.))
Raven'sWing smiled and chanted the she-cats name with the rest of the clan untill the crowd dispersed to go sleep in the dens. Raven'sWing headed over to Thunderspark on her way to the warriors den, "Welcome to being a warrior." she said with a small smile before she padded into the warriors den. She curled up in her nest and listened to the unusually busy chatter mainly about how Thunderspark was finally a warrior. Nightstorm headed into his den which was a large log to the side of the stump a curtain of moss acting as a door. He pushed aside some of the moss and crawled to the back curling up into a ball on a bed of soft moss and green leaves. |

Thunderspark clamped her fangs closed and sat on her haunches in front of the tunnel that led into camp, curling her tail over her paws and staring intently into the darkness, as if she was imagining enemy cats charging through at any moment. Or a badger bursting through and swiping the nearest cat into a death grip. Her pelt prickled with a flame of emotions. The young she-cat sighed and lifted her eyes to the moon and stars, imagining her warrior ancestors looking down at her and nodding approvingly from their StarClan home.
