Ooc// M'kay~ So, we'll begin with their descent to earth, where the setting is a civilization with Greek qualities, but is about medieval qualities--we can make up things as we go along, adding things here and there. Maybe a list will surface, if we get really into it? c: @Steph: If you wouldn't mind editing your character sheet with all of the attributes you decided to add to your character, I can re-distribute the orb's powers. :3

Descending to earth feels eerily like flying. Ala was the first to step through the portal that opened up in a whirl of bright light, and as soon as his hands were touched by the flooding illumination, the rest of him following as if it had been sucked into the portal. Leaving the celestial plane was rather heartbreaking, in a way. The god Infirmatti rarely left the home of the gods for that of mortals, and it had been many, many human lifetimes since he had done so last. If only the circumstances hadn't been so terrible, it would be like going on vacation. He contemplated his current mission as he transcended space and time, all the while spiraling at a dizzying speed towards the mortal realm. It had been nearly a year since the first of the gods was killed. Terinia, the goddess of the sea, had been found lying limply on a small path, a terrible black liquid oozing from the numerous cuts on her body. This was a terrifying and unheard of occurance, especially in the god's own realm, and panic ensued. Others were killed--Thunder, Earth, Peace, War....and then Death himself was brutally murdered. There were very few of the gods left, and it was time to take action. The orbs that contained each gods' elements had been transported back to earth. It was their sworn duty to find them. But there was a catch. Even now, they were being hunted by these mysterious beings of darkness that seemed bent on destroying any sense of balance in the universe. Already disastrous affects were happening from the murders of the other gods--harvests grew quickly or withered for no reason, without their earth goddess to guide them. Harsh gales materialised without the god of air to keep them at bay. As for death...well, sickness and disease was rampant. All was not well. So it was under these circumstances that the god of insanity--perhaps the least suited for this immense task--made his way to earth. As his earthly body slammed into being, he shuddered and took a few uneasy steps. The portal had spat him out in a grassy field surrounded by trees. A forest. Feeling serene, he wobbled on unsteady legs a few paces away from the glimmering circle of light. Now all that could be done was wait for the others.

Tanithena watched as the first of the four adventurers passed through the bright portal. She had not gone down to the mortal world since the murders had begun. Here in the realm of the gods, she could feel her powers struggling against an overwhelming tide of disaster. Half of her elements were hard to find purchase in in these hard times. Love and hearth were almost impossible for the mortals in the midst of the upheavals caused by the deaths of the gods. With a sigh, Tanith placed her hands against the opalescent light and felt herself pulled through. The swirling lights around her were always disorienting, but she had come to earth so often that she actually enjoyed it. At the end, she sailed through gracefully, golden hair streaming behind her and gown fluttering in the wind. Infirmetti was there already. She gave him a small smile and took a place not far from him.

Here she was again, called to earth. Meili felt her instincts tugging away from this venture, and she had to trick herself into going through the portal. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy Earth. It was just that she had no real reason to go there. Her domain was one that could be easily monitered from the realm of the gods, and since she had little business on earth, she simply didn't go there. But now she was forced under these dark circumstances, and there was no choice. There must be balance. All those who had been her equals, Sun, Man, and Forgiveness... The gods who ruled these were dead now, and there was only one thing that kept Meili from falling under Infirmatti's wave of insanity. Fire. Here alone was the yin to her yang, and as she made the descent to earth that was the only thing she could bear to think of. That Tanithena would be there as well. Meili landed as delicately as a bird, alighting to the ground as light as a feather. Her hair, white as cloud, billowed around her like a mist, eyes of piercing ice blue quickly finding her fellows. Under the tree she saw Infirmatti, giving him the briefest of nods before searching out Tanithena's face. Her smile resumed its usual place, softening her features as she found her position to the goddess's right.

Iris sighed when the others stepped through the portal, but glanced backward at her home. "I suppose I might not see this place again," she muttered to herself and glanced back at the portal. "Well, the mortal world just looks so amazing. Like a vacation," she muttered to herself before stepping through the portal and poofing into a mortal body on the ground near a forest. The others were around her, but she looked down at the black hair that swished near her waist, at the human body she had assumed. She didn't move, not sure if her legs would support her, but she knew for a fact her voice would. She looked at the others, snorting when she noted their silence. "Okay people," she said with a clap of her hands. "Let's get this done and stop wallowing in self pity."

Ala looked up as Tanithena entered the mortal realm, then Meili, and finally Iris. His eyebrows knotted into a slight frown as he stood up at her request--well, it was more of an order--and looked towards the forest. "I would hardly call this self-pity," he muttered to himself, not quite aware that everyone else could well and fully hear him. "It's more akin to...madness." He grinned to himself. After brushing himself off, Ala looked up at the sky, which was paling to the deep blue of twilight. "It's getting late," he announced. "We should find shelter." Without waiting for their replies, he marched into the darkening forest. Gold flashed across his vision, spotted with grinning shadows. Silky voices murmured in his head, too unclear for him to make out the meaning, but still he asked, "What?" The silent forest answered him not. Ooc// FAIL. D: Sorry guys.
