"Well, I'm *censored*uming that the party will be held inside so we should probably go there." Sam said, leading the way. He knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer.

"How may I help you?" The man who answered asked.

"We are here for the party and we are the group that was as.signed to watch over everything that goes on." Amy answered, flashing her badge. Sam, Josh, and Jay did the same.

"Ah yes, we were wondering when you would show up. Come in please."

Kris ran off to change back into her dress.

Well, at least I have someone tollerable, she thought, putting her hair up, but more elegant this time. 

As the man who let them in left, they were left in the large room by themselves. "So, what are we suppose to do now?" Amy asked, looking around. It was then that another man came in.

"Hello there, I am Mr. Oldell. I helped organize this event and was glad to hear that you all arrived safely. We have heard the threats and while we are not sure if they are real or not, we wanted to provide as much protection as possible for all of our guest. Now, if you would follow me, I will show you the ballroom we will be holding this event in and then a room where you can relax before the party and finish getting ready."

Emma trailed close behind the man, watching in amazement all the pretty paintings and sculptures.

Alex walked close to Sam and Derek to Amy.

"Man, how rich are these people?" Derek exclaimed.

Kris ran to catch up, stumbling in her black stilletoh boots and re-doing her elegant bun. She caught up to Sam, Derek, and Amy.

"Very," Kris answered Derek, not even remotley out of breath. 

Alex glanced at him. "Let's see, the president and his entire first family with countless other celebrities are coming to see the ambas.sador and his daughter. I think they are going to be pretty rich people."

"Here we are." Mr. Oldell said as they came upon a set of rather large doors. He pulled them both open and lead them into the giant ballroom with tables and decorations all around. There was also a stage at one end of the room where an orchastra was turning their instruments and also where the speech would be given. "This is where it will all be held. Everything is will it will be for the party. Feel free to look around and get a feel for the room if you want. If not, there is a small staircase over there," He pointed towards the staircase outside of the room, "and if you follow them upstairs, you will see several doors, the first door on your right and left are for you all to use while you are here. If you need anything, just ask anyone on the staff, they will help you." He then left them.

"Well, look around or relax? I'm all for relaxing a bit. The layout is pretty simple after all." Sam said.

"Im gonna look around," Alex said. She poked around the elegant decor.

Emma ran across the large floor weaving through tables. "Who wants to rest after being cramped in that car for an hour?" She said, laughing.

Derek sat next to sam. "Man, this is gonna be a long night." He said, sighing.

He nodded in agreement. "But at least we both have good partners. Josh has our newbie over there. He will probably have to do it all himself or walk her through everything. Now that would make for a long night."

Amy watched them for a few minutes. "I'm going to go to one of the rooms and finish getting ready." She said before walking away.

Kris walked around the room in a slow circle, making a mental note of every picture on the wall. She saw several picturing gladiator and biblical scenes. And she saw some portraits as well. her mind suddenly switched.

God, why do i even have to pretend to be on a date? she thought, and sulked. 

Kris gave a sarcastic smile. "Oh, I'm sure," she said. She was suddenly serious, but said no more. 

ooc: It's alright.

Bic: He raised an eyebrow. "Something wrong? I excepted more of a comment than that."

Kris gave a sad smile.

"Kinda. I just hate role-playing like this," she said, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Don't get me wrong, I love a game of pretend. But, when there's fake romance going on....." she trailed off. 

"Mkay," Kris said, not fully re*censored*ured.

"I learned the flute too," she said, walking over to Amy. She grabbed another off of a random chair. She played "Flight of the Bumblebee".
