Swishaa looked at Kai and Balshii. She remembered who Balshii was, they were best friends. But what she didn't know was why Balshii didn't remember her."Goodbye, Balshii! See ya later!" She padded away silently. Toda followed her, and they both went to the center of the town. They pas.sed a store, but they couldn't read what tha said on the front. Toda could read a bit of human language, so she could read it.

"It's a pet store," she growled. Toda didn't like pet stores. They continued walking. A human van drove towards them and Swishaa yelped as a human jumped out and grabbed her in a net. Toda growled and barked feircly, but the human just ran to the van and threw Swishaa in it. He drove off, Toda chasing not far behind.  "Why didn't he take me, too?" she asked herself. She could hear Swishaa's barks and yelps from a distance. Toda stopped running, panting. I'm sorry Swishaa... she thought. She ran back to where Balshii and Kai were. "Swishaa's been captured by humans!" she cried.

Kimi ran over to Toda. "Me and Kazumi will help you" she said to her wanting to help who she thought of as new friends. She liked helping others but she was shy at times and normaly let Kazumi do the talking unless she was in her moods.

Kazumi walked next to Kimi and snorted she would only go with them because she wanted to fight but with the male running she couldn't fight him so she was mad.

 Glancing back Balshii held Swishaa's gaze for a heart-beat then padded off. "Swishaa's been captured by humans!" a Voice yowled behind him, "No. I am not helping.." he decided. If he did Kai would think he believed him, and that he could not show through him. I am not week.

Shina heard a horrified yowl in the distance. Running towards the voice, she  noticed brooke there already. "I can help," she was barking. "I can help to..."  Shina panted.

"Thank you so much guys!" said Toda thankfully. Swishaa was Toda beth friedn, and if anything happened to her, she would blame herself. "The human took her this way," she said, indicating the route she had just taken. She ran, but made sure everybody was following her.

The truck ride was long and bumpy. "Man, it sure is a bumpy road!" Swishaa almost vomited a few times, but held it in. Another dog was in the truck. His fur was gray and white, a husky. She looked at him in horror. He was asleep. How could he sleep at as time like this? she wondered. She barked at him. "Wake up, lazybones! How can you sleep like that?" she wondered out loud.

Goda woke up, surprised to see Swishaa in the truck with him. He snarled, then wimpered. "D-do you really think I'm a monster?" he whined. Man, Swishaa might think I'm a whiney pup! No wonder she hates me! he thought. Hecleared his throat, then said, "If you do, then i don't really care much. Everybody says that, even my own mother. After all, i did murder my father.." he barked.

Swishaa and Goda were forcefully pulled out of the truck on harnesses. Swishaa twisted in the Human's grip, lunging. The Human pulled her and Goda into a room. Goda snapped his leash and tried to run out, but it was too late. The door closed. Another Human, a female, came up to him and clipped another leash on him. She led him to a cage, with a fenced-in outside area. Swishaa also went to one of those cages. She could hear Toda whing and barking loudly. A human opened the door and grabbed her. She bit his neck, and he fell to the ground. Swishaa yelped happily.Goda stared at his sister in astonishment. Why'd she kill him?  he wondered.

Swishaa stared at Kimi and Kazumi. "Thank you for saving us, but why'd you have to go and save him?" she looked at Goda in pure disgust. Goda returned the look, and then switched it to a look of anguish. Disgust, because she said him in a rude way, and anguish because he's afraid she still hates him after he wrongfully attacked Balshii. "Swishaa, I'm-" he was cut off by Swishaa. "You need serious help," Swishaa said jokingly. "Would you let me finish?" Goda asked. "Ok, fine." she said. "I'm sorry i've been such a jerk lately. I don't know what's come over me. It's just that you seem so familiar... It's like i've known you before..." his face twisted. "You.. how old are you, Swishaa?" he asked. "4 years, why?" she asked him. He smiled. "What breed of dog are you?" he asked happily.

"Akita husky mix." she replied.

"Have you ever had a mate?"

"Yes. His name was Nicrota. But he was murdered 2 years ago."

"Nicrota.. He was my father. So that must mean...." he paused.

"I'm your mother.. and Toda's mother too..." Swishaa said.

Toda looked at Swishaa. "So you're my mom! Me and Goda have been searching for you for a whole year after Dad died.. Goda told me how he died... He was murdered by Humans..." Toda's eyes filled with tears. "Ever since Dad died, we've been on our own. And now that we found you, we don't have to search anymore." she started crying and ran over to Swishaa. "I missed you, mom." she cried.

Kazumi yelped in pain as the human shot her with a sleeping dart looking at the others she whimpered "run now" she said before falling on the floor sleeping. Kimi gasped seeing the human "quick we have to run they have guns" she said whimpering thinking Kazumi was dead, her breathing was that shallow that you couldn't see that she was breathing  unless you where very very very close to her.
