Jash's dreams were haunted by ghostly-looking people, like him. They had the same skin, not black, blue, or patched with fur, just like his. They had many different colored eyes. A few were looking at him expectantly.

"Who are you?" he asked with a loud voice, above the murmuring of the crowd of people.

They said as one, "We are those, who were before you, and are no longer upon the world. You are the last, Jash. You are the remaining one now."

Wind whipped around Jash, and the people disappeared. "Wait!" he called. "What are you talking about?"

Jash woke up, brown eyes, confused.

 Aurora looked down at the baby. It was definatly a Vacarn, she could tell. The baby giggled its hand reacking out towards Aurora's necklace. She pulled it off breaking the chain. Aurora screamed. She grabbed the necklace and looked at the broken chain. She looked back down at the baby who was laughing.

 Kitty looked around. She was looking for the last human, it was her job. She walked around sniffing the air. He was close, and not alone. She followed his scent until he came to large wall and saw him sitting there looking confused.

A ghostly figure was knelt beside Jash, looking at him with warm golden eyes. "Hello," the ghost said.

Jash backed gasped. The ghost was one of the ones he had seen in his dream. "Who are you?" he demanded.

The ghost answered,"I am Kaina. One of the dead of humanity."

"Humanity?"

The ghost, Kaina, looked at Jash as if he was crazy because he didn't know about it. "Humans. You are you of them."

Jash stared at Kaina. "I'm human. I thought that was a myth."

"That's what they are telling you. They know what humans are, your family is feeding you tales, about us, not telling you who you are."

"Did they kidnap me, then?" Jash asked.

Kaina shook her ghostly head. "No. They are your real parents."

"What!" Jash cried. "I don't look like them at all!"

"Shh. I think someone's near, be quiet." Kaina placed a hand over Jash's mouth, which felt cold as ice, since she was only a ghost.

Jash stared wildly at Kaina, who melted into the shadows. "I'll be back. Just keep yourself out of trouble for the moment."

Jash disobeyed Kaina and yelled,"Wait! Don' t go!" He reached out to pull Kaina back, but she was already gone. "Hmm."

 Kitty hissed looking at the human. She didn't have time for games. She turned around hearing her stomach growl. She turned towards her friends house and started to walk. When she walked in she was surprised to see the lights turned on,"Is everything okay, Aurora?' She asked.

 "look what I found!" Aurora said walking over to Kitty and showing her the baby Vacarn.

 "Where did you find that?" Kitty asked looking at it curious.

 "Up there." Aurora pointed at the ladder.

 Kitty looked back at Aurora,"So anyways do you know anything about the human?" She asked getting to the pont.

 "No not really. I ran into him earlier and had a Wildkiller hiss at me for it." Aurora laughed. She only talked to Kitty because she trusted and respected her. She didn't talk to anyone else, not even her family.

 Kitty watched carefully she needed to get the human somehow but she didn't know how to or when. She wasn't very patient and wanted to get the human before he got away.She walked towards the human grabbing him by the wrist. She had a can of toxic air that would put the human to sleep but not her. She was going to open it when she thought the time was right.

 Aurora watched kitty leave. She thought it was strange that Kitty had come and gone so fast. She watched as Kitty took a can out of her pocket. What was she doing? She wondered.

Jash gave a cry of surprise as he felt his wrist being gripped in a firm hold. He was confused, and his brown eyes showed it. "What are you! What do you want?" Jash squirmed.

 "I am Kitty, a Vancarn. I am here to take you away." She said telling the exact truth. She opened the can of air and held it up. She looked sorprised when it was knocked out of her hand and rolled next to Jash.

 Aurora threw a rock at the can knocking it away from Kitty,"What are you doing?" She hissed.
