((I'm back. Doesn't feel like editing, so when i said inauguration, I met an induction ceremony. Sorry for the slip.)) Rusty was trying to keep from getting overexcited. There were many of predators around him, making him overwhelmed. Finding the right words to say, he looked in the direction of the way the captors left. "They're coming back. They followed the river and they were catching animals like me to use our fur. I can't understand human language well though but they caught some of us and took us away, while others, like me, they stranded here. Few of us escaped. By the way, thanks for getting me out." He chattered quickly, rarely stopping to take a breath. He quickly pattered over, taking a spot behind the owl. |

Ingavar padded closer to the animals and grunted. "Humans come here too?" he asked again in Artic tongue. Ingavar was not a Teller of Ways, but he knew when and where the humans were from their foul stench. He could not smell them now, but he saw traces that they had been here.

Rusty nodded. The humans were cruel creatures and they didn't look too appealing either. He had questions racing in his mind but he didn't know how to ask them. Being the adventurous type, he wouold have chased after the humans to investigate what they were doing but he might end up getting caught again.

"But why?!" Rusty half-whined, half-shouted. He really felt like taking a nap underground in one of his comfortable Burroughs. "Anyway, they're trying to kill us is what i know. Should we fight back?" He squeaked, a little too excitedly. |

"Yes, we fight back." Ingavar said, proudly, "I did it before, I do it again. This time we win." He stood up and roared loudly, a roar that even the humans would be able to hear, no matter how far away. "Humans are pests, they kill and destroy everything."

Rusty fell onto his back at the startling roar. Within a few minutes, he remembered that the tricks of possums didn't work with his kind. He stood up and rose to his hind legs once more. A question randomly sparked his tiny mind. "How am i supposed to do anything?" He looked at his small body, comparing it to the large bear's.

Rusty nodded the idea, registering it in his mind. He did have sharp teeth, however, recently with his not being able to find much food, he chewed on rocks to chase away the hunger. He had claws. Though they were tiny, they were sharp. He was also fast. Yes, he was very fast. "Speed and sharp teeth or claws. He would also have an ability to easily escape because of his slender, slinky body. Ingavar roared as Kiru howled. The night sky filled with their battle cries. The Humans might have known what was going to happen, they might have not. But soon, Ingavar thought, The war between Humans and animals will begin.

Rusty flashed his eyes to the bright full moon above. He twitched his whiskers and scattered around the fox and bear for a few seconds, trying to catch the scent of the humans. He soon gave up knowing he wasn't a very good tracker. As for the cries, he would have squeaked, but that would've have ruined the beautiful music being sung out by the two animals. It was the sound of war. |

Rusty nodded. "I'll go first." He slipped into the tall green gras$. Though he wasn't the best tracker, he had an excellent sense of direction, which struck him as odd. His paws padded gently on the dirt as he made his way through the forest of Gras$.
