Whisper shook her head. "Mema and Papa aren't my parents. Their my grandparents, but they were disowned a long time ago. When my mother was born, they cursed my mother. It passed on in the blood to me, intentionally. But don't worry, I know where they are. And they are very weak now." She galloped down the road to a rickety old house.

Whisper laughed. "Young man," She said to herself. She gained a little bit of speed, and her hooves screeched to a stop. "Here." Inside, an old man was bent over a table and an even older woman was staring at a pot.

The old woman turned, a feeble wrinkly smile on her face. "Oh, Aphrodite, my dear, is that you?" Whisper cringed at the mention of her name. The old woman then looked at Kira. "And you brought a freind? We were just about to serve dinner, and Harold wouldn't mind if you two joined, would you dear?" The old man wheezed with a toothless smile.

Whisper (Aphrodite) whispered very quietly, so the old people didn't hear. "Whatever you do... Do not eat, do not sit, do not talk..." The old woman smiled at her. "Did you say something, Aphrodite?" Whisper quickly shook her head. The old woman looked at both Whisper and Kira, her eyebrows raised. Whisper growled. "Oh no she didn't... God, old people these days."

Whisper kicked Kira. "Do I need to spell it out for you? Alright. So, we just wound up in the woods. We're just 2 years apart. Now, I used to be human, so did you. We both have a few similarities. Now, when Mema mentioned my name- She caught you smile. Get it yet?" She sighed, glaring at the woman. "The seats have a sort of glue- so we can't leave. If we talk- she will persuade us to say yes. If we eat-" She shook her head. "We'll either be poisoned or cursed again."

Whisper looked at him. "Its okay..." She smirked on the side of her face he couldn't see. She also became human, without knowing.

Whisper Wind held up a finger, then crept up behind the old woman. The old man was sleeping. Whisper pinched the old woman on the neck, and the old lady shriveled into black ashes. She did the same to the old man, who turned into black ashes too. "The curses will wear off in an hour... But we gotta run before the old people wake up again." She became her fiery horse state and galloped out the door and into the forest.

Whisper (Now called Aphrodite) felt strangely cold inside without her inner (and outer) fire. She took a strand of her hair, and looked at it. "Hm, I guess now that I'm not some sort of horse so the flame makes the color of my hair..." It was a rather stupid remark, and she noticed. She covered her mouth with her hand, looking away.
