Heather flicked her hair out of her face and tried to find some of her fellow Riders. She guided Verexa through the crowd with the reigns. Many people stopped to stare at Verexa and the piece of crimson cloth that was hardly a saddle on her back. She rushed over when she saw a familiar skinny and tall figure. She stood up on her toes and tapped the back of his shoulder.

"Ratari! Are there more riders with you?" she asked.

Simon walked gracefully over to Alice. Nudging her to ride him. "Not now," Alice laughed. "We must find the others she said. Her eyes scanned the crowd looking for the other riders. Suddenly, Simon squaked. (Is that the noise that griffins make? O_O) He was looking very intently at something beyond the crowd. Alice followed his gaze to see the other riders. She patted Simon on the back. "Good Job," She said leading Simon around the crowd. "Heather! Ratari!" She waved the hand that wasn't leading Simon.

Heather heard a voice louder than the others shout "Heather! Ratari!" She turned around to face Alice and her griffin, Simon.

"Hello... Well, at least that's three of us," Heather said. She looked at Ratari and Alice.

"I guess you heard, then? I offered the advisor that we could go and see what the Faeries are up to, and why," she said. She tried to keep her voice level and calm. It might have sounded that way, too, but inside she was excited. The Riders skill was kind of doubted by most of the people who hadn't really seen them, and didn't know how reliable they were. Of course they weren't hated. But along with the fact that they would be serving the Commander and defending the Land of Plenix, this was the perfect opprotunity to prove themselves.

((There are only five riders right now. Falcor is not a rider yet, he is still a spy.

And how can we RP this if nobody is RPing the faeries? ))

Aria and Twilight (I decided on an entirely different name :P)) circled above the crowds. They had spotted Heather, Ratari, and Alice immediatly, but were yet to find a place to land. Finally, they spotted an opening in the sea of people, and Twilight quickly dived down and landed gently on the ground. Staying together, Aria shoved through the crowd and yelled, "Heather! Alice! Ratari! Over here!"

((Hmm... No clue. I'm not sure. We'll have a little vote here... Who's for the idea of riders and their griffins mind communicating?

Oh yeah.. The faeries. Don't worry, everyone can play the faeries. The reason I didn't want people to have too many characters was because more characters were going to come into play. Such as the faeries. ))

((Now I am. This week until Saturday I have midterms so it's hard to roleplay.... Dx.. I think we should go on without her. O.o And I think we shouldn't do the mind-communicate thing... It reminds me too much of Eragon.))

"Now that we're all here," Heather said, "I think it's best we should enter the High Tower." She pointed to the huge, tall building that stood in the middle of Klairkure. At the very top Commander Veran and his advisor were waiting. It looked even bigger now that she was close to it. The tower was made of stone, and there would be an occasional window spiraling to the top. It was also quite wide, and had offices for all the council members too.

"Let's go, Verexa," Heather said to her griffin. Verexa snorted and nipped her fingers affectionately.

She took the first step into the High Tower. There was a hall with floors made of obsidian that lead to a stairway. The stairway stopped at some floors which held offices. Heather could not see the top, but new from what she had been told that there was a great circular room that overlooked the whole entire land of Plenix. She stopped at the stairway and waited for the other Riders to follow.

Aria smiled at Twilight, and they travled up to the tower together, following Heather. Landing beside her, Aria spotted numerous guards posted around the room, but few seemed well accostomed to the job. She followed Heather up the long, spiraling stairway, Ratari and Alice close behind.

Falcor peered into the small, circular window at the top of the tower. He could see Commader Veran, his advisor, and other peple-with griffins?!- entering the room.

Heather finally reached the floor at the very top, the circular room with walls made entirely of glas.s. The view was truly was beautiful. She drew close to the gl*censored* walls that seperated her from falling. She had seen this view while on Verexa when flying... It was something she got to see more than anybody in the Land of Plenix, aside from her other Riders and anybody who came into this room. Only flying on a griffin is more exilhirating and thrilling, she thought.

"The Land of Plenix looks quite beautiful from here, does it not?" a voice said, surprising her for a moment. She snapped out of her pleasent thoughts and daydreaming to face Commander Veran. She kneeled to the ground.

"Indeed, Commander," she answered politely.

"There is no need to be so formal," the Commander said, sighing. Heather got up.

"Sorry, then," she said. Veran nodded and then turned his back towards Heather and looked out towards the forests; the Forbidden Forests where the faeries lived.

"To bussiness then. We all know that these attacks cannot continue and are getting more frequent. I fear the worst. Humanity cannot be enslaved again. I *censored*ume you know what you're up against and getting into?" he asked.

"Yes. We are going to try to slip inside and find what they are plotting... And then we will take the message back to you. If possible we can find their leader and get rid of them," Heather replied. The Commander nodded.

"Go, then. If you need anything, I will provide it for you. Be quick. We have less and less guards, and they are getting discouraged. The people of Plenix do not know what is going on now, but they will start to notice the more frequent attacks and more people dying..." he turned to face Heather and stared at each Rider in the eye.

"Good luck. I hope that the skill you posses will be the thing to save us."
