Starlight watched from among the herd, standing in the middle. She snorted, because she knew she would probably just get kicked out of the herd if she talked to Shadow again. Now she didn't care a hoot about Shadow's safety, much less the tames horses. She was hated, ignored, and not even credited for helping anyone. Apparently, no one cares about her help anymore. The best she could do, was run.

Feather caught up to Starlight. "Where are you going, Starlight?" Starlight looked down at Feather calmly. "Away." Feather tilted his head a little bit. "For how long?" Starlight sighed, she didn't know what to say. "A long time. You probably would be grown by the time I'm back." Feather looked around, then back at Starlight. "Can I go with you? Please?" Starlight looked at Feather's mother, who nodded approvingly from a few feet away. "I suppose you could." Feather smiled, then they both walked off to who knows where to do who knows what.

Shadow didn't show emotions and didn't move her eyes away from him. She then looked at the herd and then down the way she had run and slowly walked off with her head low. Dark trotted up to Vince,"Let me guess... She screwed up again and is going to go 'fix' it.",he said.
(I love to make Shadow screw up stuff.)

Shadow twitched her ears as she heard the sound of hooves coming from the human's territory and speed up into a gallop as she let out a warning neigh to the herd and lead the humans away from the herd. Dark caught sight of the horses as they turned and chased after Shadow,"Looks like she didn't free the ones who obey the humans.",he said.

Feather looked around, scared of the unfamiliar ground. "Its dark... And I've never been out here before. Won't Shadow know we're gone?" Starlight shook her head. "She ignores me, so she doesn't really care whether I'm gone or not... Apparently." Feather looked at the ground. "Oh... What about Dark?" Starlight stopped immediately, looking down at Feather. "No." Feather nodded, and they continued.

The humans split up,a group following Shadow and a group running straight at Dark and Vince. Shadow leaped over a log and let out a neigh as one of the hummans released a rope and it missed her,just barely.

(what?) Feather heard loud yelling and bellowing. "Is something happening to the herd?" Starlight looked back at them, seeing the terror. They deserve it... Starlight shook her head. "Keep going." She nudged Feather forward.

Shadow neighed as a horse got behind her in kicking distance and she bucked with her back legs to nail it right in the face. Shadow neighed as the horse fell backward and pinned it's riders leg under it's body. Dark looked at Vince and sighed before running off into the trees and back to the herd. He neighed at the herd and motioned for them to follow him,they refused and then saw Shadow and the humans and neighed loudly.

They were only half a mile away from the herd, still able to be seen. Feather looked up at the sky. "Its getting dark." Starlight nodded. "Yes. I guess we can rest until the morning, the herd won't find us." Feather looked up at her. "What?" "Nothing."

"Their he is!" "What happened to him!" "How'd he get out!" voices called, hovez and horses trotted to him and rider's got off looking at Vince. He snorted and whinnied loudly, he put his head down and shut his eye's, perparing for the worst. The hummens shook their head "We need to get him to the vet." a voice said "NO! They'll just put him down!" another voice growled, the argument kept going after that, they yelled and screamed at each other very loudly.

Feather's mother trotted up to as many horses in the herd as she could. "Where is my Feather? Has anyone seen Feather?" She was running around frantically, asking for Feather. She seemed to forget about Starlight, like most.

Shadow galloped towards the group of humans around Vince and tried to shake off the humans. She ran towards the trees,which would be her best advantage. Dark lead the herd to safer grounds and waited for it to be safe.
