Melanie got tired of the waiting and finally banged her muzzle on the window once to get Evessence's attention. She made a look that asked, Is he okay?

Felix's eyes flashed open and suddenly, he was on his feet, a knife in his hand. "Don't move." He growled at them. Bella stared at him, shocked that his body had already come near to the end of the healing process. Felix cocked his head, his knife trained. Then, skillfully, he threw the knife into a dark stairway that ld down to the tunnels. Their came a cry of pain and the sound of someone falling down a lot of steps. He grimaced. "Curse those humans." He growled.

Felix sighed and he swayed unsteadily. Bella, who was fairly large, was by his side in an instant. His head only reached her shoulder. It's amazing how the house fit her.

Felix turned and spotted Melanie. He groaned and rubbed his temples with his fists. Bella gazed at him like an anxious mother with her cub. "I don't know, and truthfully, I really don't care right now..." He muttered. He leaned heavily against Bella as they descended down the stars and plunged themselves in darkness. "Thgil." He whispered in Elcean. He placed his palm facing up and a cackle of whitish blue energy formed in a flame in his hand. He peered into the darkness, knowing full well that he didn't need the light. He limped with Bella besides him down the tunnel and then he saw the man, dragging himself away, a knife in his side. He squeaked when he saw Felix. Felix crouched besides him and cocked his head at him. The man began to tremble. Felix grabbed the knife's hilt and yanked it out of his side. The man yelped with pain and looked on the verge of collapsing. Felix gazed at the knife in his hand. "And what, may I ask, would you of done if you had gotten away? Crossed thousands of miles of sand?" He muttered quietly. Bella watched on calmly. Felix gazed at the man as he bit his lip. Felix placed his cold hand against the man's forehead. He flinched away, but not soon enough for Felix to feel the heat radiating from him. "The sickness." He spat. Felix looked at the man, something soft in his eyes. He placed his hands on the sides of the man's head and smiled at him. "Be at peace, for today, you will not die slowly, but quickly." He breathed. Then, with a sharp twists, he cracked the man's neck. He slumped to the ground and the energy went out. Felix's eyes were closed, but when he opened  them, it was like he was seeing with a flashlight. Everything was illuminated. His eyes glowed yellow and were narrowed, like a cats. He stood up, leaving the man as he walked back up the steps, panting slightly. Bella purred like an overly large house cat and let him lean against her warm fur.

Bella caught it in her mouth and then she put it on the ground, gazing at it. Then, delicately, Bella licked the cube, her tongue moving the sticks. In less than 20 seconds, the cube was solved. She picked it up and tossed it back at Aiden. She grinned at him, baring her teeth. Felix couldn't help but laugh. "Don't underestimate a Wolf Strider Aiden!" He laughed.

Felix choked as he laughed. Bella lunged at him and licked him as well. "No! Please.... Don't!" He gasped. He dropped to the floor laughing. But there was something else in his eyes and the tears that poured down his cheeks. Slowly, his laughter because sobs. He pressed his fists to his temples, as if to drive the raging headache away from him.
