Artemis grinned, she always liked Luxios and wanted one for herself. She had Pikachu already and didn't see the necessity in gaining a second electric type. It would only burden her prime team and her Pikachu was invaluably in sync with herself and all her other Pokemon. It would take months to train another electric type the smooth transitions between moves as she had developed for her team.

"Have you seen anything, Lugia?" Artemis called out to her Legendary. She was responded with silence. "What does your Luxio see?"

Pandoira's eyes glowed briefly. Then she let out a series of yelps. Celebi flew down and seemed to ask Pandora to repeat what she had just said. "Over there!" Celebi suddenly cried, pointing. There was a Pokemon. It's steel-covered body was resting on the ground. "That's the Skarmory that attacked us." Reila breathed, and Blade stood to high alert. But the Skarmory did not atack. It was then that Reila saw a deep skar over it's face. "That's not from Blade's attack..." Reila began. "Her human trainer must have hit her!" Luxio's fur stood on end and crackled with electricity.

Volar came into view with a trainer in his grip. "Is this the trainer Black, Reila?" He asked Reila. He then saw the Skarmory. He then punched the trainer down to the ground. "How dare you?! Pokemon aren't meant to be treated like this! They're meant to be treated like friends. I'm ashamed I was once like you!" He yelled at the trainer. He then looked at Reila. There was an abnormal glow in his eyes. They seemed to be glowing red with flames in them.<div>Renegade circled around everybody. &nbsp;He was screeched with great rage. He dive bombed at the Skarmory and said, "Is this the way you deserve to be treated?! Turn against your tamer and fight it!" He snarled. He then flew over Volar and hovered near him. Volar saw Artemis and sighed. "I was once an agent like Black. An evil person.... The Day I died was the day that part of me died and I was reborn as something better..." He told her. "But that same anger in me still lives as you can see." He shook his head and squatted down. Then he glared at &nbsp;the Skarmory and stood up. "Don't worry little Skarmory. If you help us.... We'll help you. Can you help us find Black if this trainer isn't him?" He asked it in a gentle and caring voice towards it. And spite against the one who hurt it.</div>

Celebi flew over to the trainer. She glowed turquise for a moment or two. The eyes of the trainer briefly glowed the same colour. "This isn't the one who stole dear Staraptor." Celebi said. "But...they DO know where Black is. Black made them stay here to give him time to make an escape. He also knows the reason for Black taking Staraptor." Reila almost jumped at this. "Why?" she asked. Celeb turned and looked serious. "Because most of his Pokemon are weak to Fighting-type moves, like his Hydreigon and this Skarmory here. He wanted a Flying Type like Staraptor to get rid of fighting types." Reila frowned. "But his Skarmory had flying type moves, but is also weak to fighting type moves..." she muttered. Celebi nodded. "Apparently, Black thought this Skarmory would give him an edge over opponents, despite it's weakness. You might not believe it, but he caught this Skarmory just yesterday. This was it's first battle under his command. But because it got hit so easily, he hit it himself and abandoned it." Celebi looked over in pity at the Skarmory. The Skarmory approached Reila (after asking permission from Blade) and gently pecked at her hand before saying something. "She's apologising for what she did." Celebi whispered.

Volar stood up a bit taller at this. "Trainer! Speak or have your mind read in the most painful of ways..." Volar snarled at him. Renegade floated above Volar. "Volar, Calm down.... You can read minds... But it takes a ton out of you, leaving you entirely helpless!" He growled with a loud ringing screech. Volar looked at Renegade and sighed, "Some demons of the past won't go away so easily... They won't leave until confronted.... Black and I were thick as thieves once. But I grew tired of feeling a dark emptiness. I STILL feel empty inside. But that's due to the many years of guilt..." He explained for the world to hear. All in front of Reila, Artemis, Celebi, Skarmory, Lugia, Vynessa, and whomever else was listening. He saw the Trainer not cooperating. He kicked the trainer and knocked him out. "I hope we've time to wait.... Now Skarmory. I've been hoping to catch one like you. I do things like this all the time. I rescue Pokemon from Bad Trainers since the Day Renegade, Garaikou, and Lakota saved me. The day I died when I REALLY lived..." He said while walking over to it. He looked at it's eyes and pet it's iron beck. "You aren't weak against fighting types as you think. You're a Steel AND Flying type. Meaning the flying type gives you protection. You just need to be trained and given patience." He then took out a First Aid Kit and wrapped the beak in the wrap. "There you go. I made sure it was clean with cream and things.." 
Lakota walked up to them and let the Torchic down. She snarled and seemed to try to tell Volar something. Volar smiled and said, "Okay Girl. I'll switch you into the PC when we get to a PokeCenter for this little boy Torchic that's very eager to get stronger to help other Pokemon." He told it. The Torchic deemed Blaze Claw did a neat Back Flip. And stumbled. "Tor-chi! Torch!" It said. Volar smiled and stroked it's warm feathers.  "Alright... We'll start training as soon as possible..." He then looked at the unconscious Trainer and seemed to glare at him. Lakota snarled at him and kicked him on the arse. Renegade just snarled at him and shook his head.

The Skarmory looked grateful for the help. She nodded slightly and hummed something. Suddenly, there was a screeching noise from not so far off. They saw the shadow of a flying type rising up into the clouds...Reila knew that shadow. She knew it anywhere. "That's...my Staraptor!" Reila cried. "Staraptor! Down here!" The shadow stopped, gliding on the air, but did not fly over. That was when Reila realized two things; one, that the Staraptor had some bizare mechanical thing around it's head. Second, that the Staraptor was being ridden by someone else... "They've got Staraptor!" Reila cried at the top of her voice. "Is that thing around her head controlling her mind?!" Pandora the Luxio sparked viciously and Espeon glared. Blade stood ready for battle should it arise. But then there came the mysterious trainer's voice from Staraptor's back. "Forget it, girl. Your Staraptor won't remember you." it said, before Staraptor turned and flew off at high speed, leaving Reila tearful. However, the Skarmory gave a collosal shriek and flared her wings out, then nodding urgently at Reila. "She wants you to ride her to catch up to Black and Staraptor." Celebi said. Reila was amazed; how could a Pokemon that she hadn't caught want to as.sist her in such a way?

"Because of the kindness it is being shown! I guess I'll have to ask help of my old buddies...." Volar told Reila. Then he looked towards the forest. A flow of Telekinetic energy weaved around. Some of it bounced back to Volar. He smiled when it did. "Thanks..." he said as the energy flowed out again to an unknown helper. Lakota smirked. She knew this Pokemon. It was an old happy Pokemon that Volar had released as it wanted to be free again years ago. This Pokemon came out and looked like a giant Salamance. The Dragon Flying Pokemon gave a roar and allowed Volar to get on it. "Everyone, meet my Old friend. Rugar. He's a long time partner and I've released him about 5 years ago. He wanted to be out her at his home turf again so there..." The Salamance nodded and flapped his huge wings. "I know Rugar. After this you're coming back here and living in the wild again... Just let it be known I missed you." Rugar snarled and flew up high following the Staraptor and Black. Lakota knew she could fly but not with Volar on her back. So she spread her wing-like fins and ran also taking to the air. 

Reila was happy to see her Staraptor, but absolutely horrified at the state of Volar. "Celebi, do you think you could?...." Reila said, trailing off. Celebi nodded. She went down to Volar and started using her only real move (at least the only proper move that Reila knew she knew), Heal Bell. She concentrated all the healing energy on Volar. "Reila sends her gratitude, as does Staraptor and I..." Celebi whisperred through the energy. The Skarmory seemed anxcious, too. But as the healing process was going on, with Celebi pacxking every bit of her psychic powers into it, the Skarmory went over to Reila. Before Reila could so much as speak, the Skarmory had plucked a Pokeball from inside her bag and pressed at the button with it's beak, hopping inside. reila was astonished at the Skarmory's willingness to be caught. It had only happened once to her before, with a Pokemon currently in her PC. Picking the Pokeball up, she kissed it lightly and returned it to her bag, knowing that until she stored another Pokemon in her PC, she couldn't send the Skarmory out. She christened the Skarmory as 'Metallica'. Then she went over to hug Staraptor, and all watched as Celebi continued using Heal Bell on Volar. Espeon had by this time walked over and greeted his old friend Staraptor warmly, winding his way around her. Reila returned Pandora the Luxio to her Pokeball, as well as Espeon. She then plucked Staraptor's stolen Pokeball from the struggling Black and returned that Pokemon as well, leaving just Blade and Celebi out.

Volar tensed up. He seemed to be in a bad way. Still. Almost as if he needed more of a charge. Renegade saw this and landing onto Volar, shifting into his Altered Forme. He then lowered his head to Volar's and breathed out a strange mist. The mist flew into Volar's body and suddenly Volar jerked up. "Ngngn!" he winced. His color was still gone but was dark enough to show he'd make it until he was put into a hospital. Renegade sighed and looked at Artemis. "He needs to go to a hospital that is experienced with his sort of case, and quickly. I've established a li[injection]nk with him. Meaning until we get him some help.. If he gets cut... A cut will appear on me too. And if he dies.. I too will die.. This sort of Telekinesis is the rarest sort. It's when you been dragged away by Death but pulled back into life. I was the hand that jerked him back into this world. He would have died and been trapped in a world of misery. I couldn't allow that. Not when deep down he'd a beating heart. But at first he wasn't like this. You seen by the look on his face as he attacked the Trainer. He seemed as though he ENJOYED causing pain. Part of him still does. But at least only to those that deserve to hurt. Like Black...." Renegade told them. Lakota still held Black in the Nerve Hold and pressed harder on him. Making him scream loudly in pure agony. Lakota had a grim with Razor sharp teeth was she did this. The Salamance sighed at the revelation Volar would be okay. At least until he could get to a hospital. Then he licked Volar's face and allowed him to weakly pet his nose and head. "Be free again my friend.." He told Rugar. Rugar nodded and flew off back into the woods. The numerous Birds and Dragons still hovered around. But then they too flew off and ran back to the woods out of sight. Leaving Volar and the others to fend for themselves for now.

Artemis became distracted when movement to her right caught her eye. She stopped dead in her tracks and turned to face the movement, but saw nothing. Puzzled, she stepped closer three paces until she saw the movement again. 'Art, be careful. Something is out there...' Lugia said. She was returning to Artemis as she spoke, though it didn't slow her progression towards the shadowed area where the dark figure lurked.

"A pleasure to see you again, Artemis," the shadowed being said calmly. A rigid chill ran up her spine and Artemis tensed, her teeth clamping shut and her hands clenching into fists. The tall, well-dressed man appeared through the darkness. He was handsome and regal as ever. A relaxed smile played his lips and he dipped in a short, brief bow. "It's odd how we continuously run into each other like this, wouldn't you agree?"

Artemis took a step back away from him just as Lugia appeared between them. The spines on her back clacked as they bristled, along with her fur, and she hissed. "Lugia, get out of here!" She ordered, but Lugia remained. The man laughed and shook his head with a fake disdain.

"Now now, Artemis, there's no need to be so... rude. I only want to talk." The man said, walking closer, ignoring the apparent danger that Lugia posed.

Artemis reached and grasped Lugia, wrapping her arm around her wings and pulling the baby Legendary close to her body and she pulled out a Pokeball and summoned Larvitar.

"Lar-Larvitar!" He exclaimed, pumping his tiny arms and stomping his powerful feet. Lugia squirmed angrily and roared. 'I can fight him on my own! Let me go!' But Artemis refused.

"Larvitar, use Earthquake and follow us!" Artemis ordered and started to run away from the man. Larvitar did as he was told, sending fissures towards the man and dashing off after Artemis and Lugia.

The man scoffed and somehow managed to dodge the blows, but the fissures left gaping crevices before him, he couldn't chase the trio head-on. A smirk appeared on his face and he slowly walked around.

Reila and Blade had been startled by the abrubt Earthquake attack. Despite his tough looks, Blade the Bisharp in fact had a Careful nature. But he carefully stood to attention again. Reila grabbed a Pokeball from her bag, drawing it out, but the act of doing so accidentally made something fall from the bag and drop to the ground. It was a delicate shining chain of gold, from which several very valuable-looking gemstones glimmered in the light. Almost instantly, Reila picked up the golden chain and put it around her neck. It was her prized possession. She could never afford to let it go...

Volar sighed and tried to stand up to get on Archie. That's when Lakota helped him get on the Arcanine. "Thanks Lakota..." He then felt the earthquake tremor. He saw what had happened. His eyes flashed the blue and he winced. "I can't....." He murmured. He was going to try using Telekinesis but felt helpless. "Renegade! Blaze Claw and Lakota! Go after that trainer and show him your might to keep Artemis safe!" He yelled to them.

Artemis grimaced. The thoughts of another person in her mind seemed unnatural. She didn't like having one in her mind-waves uninvited, but she needed to keep in touch with some one in case something bad happened to her. 'He's a man I had the misfortune of running in to... he scares me. I don't know much about him other than he appears where there's trouble.' Lugia glanced to Artemis with concern.

Larvitar hopped up onto Artemis' shoulder and clung on as she ran through the forest. He dared a glance behind him before spotting the man somehow close behind them. "Lar! Larvitar!" He cried out and pointed behind them. Lugia translated. 'He's chasing us fast!' To which Artemis also picked up speed.

Lugia craned her neck around to see the man close behind--he seemed to almost teleport--and she said. 'He's too fast. I don't know how! Ride Arcanine!' Artemis nodded and tore a ball from her belt and released her large fire-type Pokemon. Taking a moment to jump onto his back, Artemis commanded Arcanine to ride towards the hospital. She pulled Larvitar onto her lap and held onto her two small Pokemon and clutched to Arcanine's mane.

As Renegade descended upon the man and began to attempt to choke him, the image of the man faded, revealing several more copies of him. Seemingly undaunted, the images began to flicker and fade, then reappear in another spot. What was happening looked very similar to Feint, but it seemed incredulous that a human could use such a thing...

Suddenly, the mirror images of the man vanished.

Vynessa's head snapped to face the noises of battle. "Gotta hand it to em, these guys don't give up." She smirked and puled her goggles down, pulling herself up to mount the Arcanine. The sound of battle rang through her ears. "Lyle." She shouted, the pikachu leapt up onto the dog and clung on. He started to run. As the great dog sprinted away, she could feel the force of the air bellowing back onto them. She did provide act as a wind breaker for the passenger behind, but was it enough? Steadily fishing a pokeball out, she released her Frossla.ss. "Brea, use protect." The elegant pokemon kept up the swift pace and used protect over the bundle of sentient. Didn't want any shrapnel flying in, and without her having the telekinetic ability, who knew where Artemis was. 

Reila, after assuring that her valuable necklace was safe around her neck, sent out her Staraptor and hopped onto it, Celebi clinging to her and Blade running to keep pace. Reila half considered returning Blade to his Pokeball but she realized that because of the danger around Blade would refuse. He would never back down if Reila was in any danger. "Hey, that necklace looks pretty valuable." Celebi suddenly commented. "Not now, Celebi." Reila said through gritted teeth. "But yes, it is worth a lot. And I mean a lot." Celebi buzzed her wings a little. "Then why don't you sell it?" Celebi asked eventually. "What? Are you joking?" Reila screeched. "Look, Celebi, now REALLY isn't a good time..."

Volar sighed. "I'm sorry... I've got to rest... But at least Lakota, Blaze Claw, and Renegade are okay. In fact here they come!" He said. Three Poke Shadows were seen heading their way. It was indeed Renegade, Lakota, and Blaze Claw. It was a sight. A very funny sight. 

Upon reaching the Pokemon Centre, the first thing Reila had done was healed her Pokemon. After this, she had gone to a PC in the corner. She had already decided which Pokemon to deposit in the PC; Pandora the Luxio, Staraptor and Espeon. She decided to keep Metallica the Skarmory in her team, as well as Blade the Bisharp, who would never allow himself to leave Reila anyway, and Celebi. She also decided to keep Rosalie the shiny Servine in her team. She wanted to use this Pokemon later. So Reila thought for a moment; a Bisharp, Celebi, Shiny Servine and Skarmory. The team needed a little bit of extra power. Reila grinned to herself. She decided which Pokemon to withdraw. She had been meaning to take this Pokemon with her for quite some time now...Sally, the shiny Vibrava.

Once the hospital came into view did Artemis spare a glance behind her. The man was gone. Relief washed over her like a wave and she slumped onto Arcanine's back, to which Larvitar and Lugia panicked slightly, worried she had passed out. A soft laugh came from her and she responded. "No, no. I'm fine." The four of them trotted into the centre slowly after everyone else had made it there and Artemis hopped down from her proud Arcanine. Lugia climbed up her arm and perched on her shoulder and Larvitar and Arcanine returned to their Pokeballs.

Lugia rubbed the side of her face against Artemis' as she walked to where Vynessa, Reila, and Renegade were. She glanced into the infirmary doors with a longing and concerned ex[injection]pression. "Do you know if he's okay? Or if he will be?" She asked, not seeming too eager to converse about her little adventure.
