Ibas subconsciously curled the end of his tail around his body, sheepishly saying, " Yeah, I know. " Honestly he wasn't sure why he was so embarrassed. Maybe it would help if he thought about it less. He was silent for a few moments before saying, " I'm going to go find something to eat, " and slithering out of the burrow. " Hey. " he greeted Shadow and Alikei.

(oh dear... Sorry about not posting. I'm so busy nowadays :T)
Alikei nodded. "Yeah, good thinking. It's good how you plan it all before you do it... I wouldn't be that smart," He admitted. He then looked up at the lightening sky and sighed. Were they ever going to be safe? Ever going to live without worry? Alikei shook the thought from his head and looked down to see Ibas move towards them. He moved his lips to what seemed a smile. "Hey," He simply greeted.

ink, then reopened them. She then saw that Inas was no longer there, but outside with Shadow and Alikei. 'Maybe if I stay inside a little longer... I can't imagine they will be too excited to see me yet,' She thought, then coiled up a bit and watched the others.

Shadow nodded and said,"If you used to use a good portion of the day planning an escape you would probably do the same." She then saw Ibas and greeted him with a nod. "We are planning on heading north,what do you think?",she explained to Ibas and then turned onto her back and began to wiggle around,trying her best to scratch an unreachable itch.

" I guess that sounds okay. As long as it's away from the city I'm fine with it. " Ibas replied, backing up as Shadow suddenly flipped herself over and squirmed against the ground. From the frustrated look on her face he was pretty sure she was itchy and she couldn't get to it. That was one of the reasons he liked being the way he was. His neck was flexible enough that he could turn his head far enough to easily take care of any itches on his back. " Before we go can I go look for something to eat? " Ibas asked. Though he had only used it as an excuse to escape his last situation when he ran out of ideas, he was starting to actually get hungry.

Alikei blinked and looked Towards the north. "well Ibas, the city sure isn't there... Unless I am losing my eyesight," He joked. He flinched slightly and leaned outwards to stare at Shadow who was now wriggling around on the floor. "Uhhhh okay..." he mumbled, not knowing quite what to do. Eventually he noticed she was trying to itch herself on the back. "Let me," He said then reached out with his Komodo Dragon leg, then used one of the long black claws to gently scratch the spot on Shadow that he supposed was the irritated patch. "Better?" he asked whilst putting his foot back to the ground.

Shadow smiled and nodded. "Better,thanks. And Ibas,yes,you can go find something to eat.",she said as she got to her feet,the fur on her back ruffled and slightly dirty. "I had better go wash off before we leave and get something to eat for myself too."

Ibas nodded and slithered away from Shadow and Alikei until he felt like he had enough room to spread his wings. With several strong flaps of his wings his was high enough to fly away, and he did, being careful to fly in places he had enough room for his wings. A forest like this really wasn't meant for a someone with big wings like Ibas. He had to fly very skillfully to avoid all of the trees, which was a very difficult task when you lacked tail feathers. But some how he manged to fly despite all of the obstacles and he soon spotted his first target. It was still living, which wasn't ideal for him, but he could fix that.
He flew higher into the trees, gliding just above the lowest branches as he silently swooped down to the ground to his target. The rabbit had just enough time to look up and realize what was happening before Ibas landed on it. He flapped his wings to keep himself balanced and to keep his head up while his tail wrapped around the rabbit and crushed it. With every breath it took, Ibas pulled himself tighter around it, and soon it couldn't breath at all. It gave a few weak kicks before dying.
