Kentanu awoke with a long yawn and got up to get ready for the day.

Now cleaned up and refreshened he sat down on his bed, not being able to escape from his thoughts. Why did they do this to me...? "Damn scientists", he mumbled, barely audible. His roomate looked over at him and sighed. "You can't stay mad at them forever. If you're really ticked, why don't you just show them?" At his words, Kentanu got an idea. "You know what? Ahahah.... that's exactly what I'm going to do...." Kentanu got up and rushed out of the door, hurrying down the stairs and to his next class. He wasn't going to seem weak to the scientists, he was going to get stronger. One day... they'll see that they messed with the wrong guy... and they'll be begging for their lives...

Kentanu listened carefully to each and every word that the teacher spoke, he even took notes. He was totally dedicated to learning about his new self and he wanted to learn even more. He had learned that him and his sister had almost all of their classes together, the only difference was that he didn't have shapeshifting class, his other class focused on transporting. With each and every note he took Kentanu grew more and more confident, he wouldn't be weak for long but for now he was just going to have to play 'good student'. He even asked a whole bunch of questions, raising his hand frequently everytime he got a new thought or idea. Kentanu didn't even dare look at his sister, who would probably notice his odd behavior. The past years he was known as the 'bad influence', nothing close to what everyone thought he was now.

Kentanu was utterly confused at his sister's question. "Why would she ask such a thing?", the whole thing just made him feel nervous. What will the teacher say? Can Avalia get in trouble for even asking? He began to feel protective of his sister, if that teacher even TRIED to yell at her, then it was go time. Then, he continued to think. She did bring this upon herself, I mean what kind of question was that? Kentanu felt so confused that he decided to just wait and watch for the outcome of his sister's action. Whatever happened next is what he would act on. I hope she didn't get herself in trouble...

Kentanu listened to the way the teacher carefully chose her words. Afraid to say it, hmmm? He just starred at the note the teacher handed to his sister. Oh boy, she is in trouble... His first instinct was to get up and get in trouble as well, so that he could defend her but he pushed that away. I want to uphold my reputation. "Hold up!", he said, standing up at his desk. "Why is it that I get the feeling that you didn't answer that question properly? Is there something that you're hiding from us? Surely you would let us know....I mean, it would seem totally irresponsible and some parents could get involved... Wouldn't you lose your job if they found out that there was more to this school than you let us know?" Now I've done it... Gah. There goes my good boy reputation.

The teacher stiffened. "Ah, I heard of you two, the vampire and werewolf (Only if you want him to be, but it would be funny XD)" she narrowed her eyes, you stay here, I'll deal with you after class. It seemed like she was shooting venomous stares to anybody who crossed her. As the bell rang, Avalia found herself situated in a seat across fro mthe principal.

"You boy, come with me." The teacher said, draging Kentanu out...

Kentanu found himself mumbling and grumbling. "Hey, DON'T touch me!" he said as he got out of her grasp. "If you touch me again I swear I'll-", he let his whole sentence die as he noticed the look that the teacher was giving him. I really ticked her off. What he really wanted to do was make a run for it but he knew that there was no way that he could escape. Plus, he would never leave his sister here alone in a school like this. Kentanu let himself calm down but not enough because he was still angry when he said: "Am I in trouble now? Seriously, I just asked a couple of questions..."

"You asked questions that are forbidden from this school. I do not know where th epowers come from, but if you insist on talking to me like that, I will have you strung up by your toes. Do you understand?" she snarled and pushed him away. "Now go to the principal's office." She walked off...

Kentanu didn't even nod at her, he just found himself glaring as she walked away. "So, the teachers don't even know... of course, she could've been lying..." But he doubted that, she had seemed like she was telling the truth. Sighing, he walked down the hallway, his head held high. Now way was he going to seem defeated, whatever the principle decided to do, he would face it with pride. By the time he got to the principle's office, he was fashionably late as always. "So, what is my punishment, Mrs.?" he asked her in a casual tone. The principle just eyed him warily. "You think this is a game? Alright then, let's play. You will be confined to your room for an entire day, that will give you enough time to think about your actions." Kentanu just stared at her, wide-eyed. "A whole day, in my room? Fine, if that's all. Of course, it's gonna be your fault that I'm not caught up with class", he told her with a smirk. The principle just laughed. "Oh, we'll deliver your work to you, this isn't a free day, it's punishment."

Avalia walked after her brother. "You, know, she didn't say I couldn't join you in your room." She said slyly, following him there...

Kentanu looked at his sister and laughed. "That's true... but are you going to miss class?" He didn't really pay attention to the class schedule, other students would remind him to go to class. If it weren't for them, he probably would've skipped out on all of his classes, not on purpose though. Kentanu is like that, he's not the type of person to follow a list or schedule, he just goes with the flow. "Ya'know, this bites. I mean, I didn't do anything wrong. They're hiding something and we've gotta find out what it is. If the teachers don't even know where the powers come from then this is a huge problem, I don't feel safe anymore... Not that I ever did feel safe" He joked about the safe part.

Kentanu listened to Avalia's words carefully. "I like your thinking, sis. Yeah, I'll bug info out of my roomate. Right now there's nothing I can do though, I've been confined to my room so no class for me..." That sucked, he wanted to learn how to get stronger but he guessed that he would have to come up with a new tactic. Avalia's plan seemed to at least lead somewhere. Kentanu felt powerless against the school, he needed a strong backup plan, one the he could do on his own. Team efforts worked but he could do better by himself. "GAh, I'll see you tomorrow then? Or after class....but knock seven times on my door so I know that it's you, mmmk?"

"Alright." Little did they know that someone else had listened in on their conversation, someone who was oblivious to the school's secrets. After class, Avalia wandered around, hurt and soar from getting beat upon with sticks and other lame excuses for weapons. She saw the figure knock seven times on the door and Avalia followed her in, intrigued by the other person...

Kentanu opened the door, he had thought that it was his sister; there had been exactly seven knocks, no more and no less. He was surprised to see his teacher come into the room. "Uh, what are you doing here?", he asked using an obviously angry tone of voice. "I've got all my work so if you're trying to check up on me, back off" Then, he thought of something. I told my sister to knock seven times in our private conversation.. how did she...? "Were you listening to me and Avalia's conversation earlier?", this only made him even more ticked off.
