He turned around, shaking out his hair and looking at her. "Coming?" he asked, starting to walk away. He let his eyes linger on teh elk for a minute; that didn't look like bear teeth mark to him.

Kitty hurried after him. She took one last glance at the elk and then tried to tell her mind that the last ten minutes had not just happened.

Kitty started to hum. She would jump often though when the leafs ratled from the wind blowing them or a bird would let out a loud call.

Jace glanced at her out of the corner of his eye. "You seem jumpy," he commented with slight interest. "Which makes me doubt your story of what you were doing alone in the forest. And with that elk." He narrowed his silver eyes and trained them ahead of him.

"I think they were both teens...But that one girl looked kind of young." Kitty said. I don't think that telling him who they were will go against what I swore. She thought.

Jace stiffened, but kept walking. So Poppy was one of them... "What did the other person look like?" he asked, chewing on his lip. "And what were they doing when you walked up?"
