"Aww...Irish accents are so, I don't know, forein I guess." she said, grinning. Laughter danced in her eyes as she listened. "Yeah, I guess we're lucky this time. So, why did you decide to become an as.sas.in? It's not exactly most first on the list of choices foon career day."

Nalik took her face in a hand and shook it gently. "Scotish, I'm Scotish, not Irish," he chuckled. He let go and sat back, glancing away. "Well... when I was a kid, my parents were killed," he said softly. "I got revenge on their murderer by killing him; someone else saw and said I had natural talent. She said I'd make a great as.sas.sin and so started training me. I mean, I was a kid, and she was taking care of me, so I became her apprentice in order to start making money and provide for myself. I became a skilled as.as.sin by the time was thirteen, from being an terrible one at age eight. Been an as.as.sin for eleven years because I get paid highly, enough to own my own place, pay the rent, and keep myself fed. It's terrible to kill for a living but by this point I don't really care."

Kiri let that settle in her mind before continuing with her questions. Her skin burned where Nalik had touched her but it was a good feeling. "I'm sorry about your parents and you're right about the killing. Really though at this point, a lot of the people you're sent to kill do need to be taken care of. Most are a threat and some are just plain pigs." she said, her mind settling on an event from her past. "Who saw your talent? Who trained you?" she knew that she was touching on a difficult topic of his past but Nalik was a big boy. He could take it she was sure. She'll try to be nice anyway, help him get through the memories.

"Well... I never knew her real name," Nalik said, trying to think. Beneath his cloak his tail flicked. "She was known around town as Venom. No one knew her real name or face, but everyone, even non-clients, knew and feared her." His voice had gone quiet as he remembered. It was a hard time, but he'd managed to get through it. "I don't know what happened to her, or how she saw me kill the man, but she did and she's been missing for quite a few years."

Morana paced around the TV room as she recalled the note..."who sent it?" she whispered to herself... "and how do they know me?" she whispered again, thinking she had gone mad for talking to herself, then she remembered Revin and ran to check on him, no fever, and he was breathing...so she believed that was good news. She ran her fingers through her hair and sat on the floor, memoirs of her past echoing in her mind...

((k im back :) i dont know about the weekend but i can rp for now.)) "That sucks. So she just left you?" she asked, she wasn't used to feeling sympathy. It was hard to do with a job like hers, but she felt a wave of pity for Nalik. Keeping her face blank she looked back up at him, she knew he wouldn't appreciat the emotion. "So what do you plan on doing to take down the organization? I don't want any casualties so we need to come up with an air tight plan. Nothing like last time."

"Well, then there goes every single plan," Nalik said, saying nothing more about Venom. "There's gonna be casualties, Kiri, there's always gonna be casualities. The matter is keeping that number low. What we'll need to do is try to get the help of Revin's group, otherwise we won't be able to do this. In an ideal world we'd be able to get some people to penetrate the place and break down the security, then raid the place. But, I don't think we'll be able to." He sighed softly and turned his eyes toward the sky, the gray of his irises reflecting the blue.

"Even low casualties could wipe out our group. I don't want to lose anymore friends." she said grimly. Y"ou're right about getting more help but how. We would have to convince them that there is threat from the other organization. The cocky b******* think they're always on top of anything, they wont believe us without proof." Thinking she absentmindedly scanned her surroundings. People were starting to give Nalik funny looks, bundled up as he was. She straitened his hat and pulled hand, getting him to stand. "I think it's time we moved from here." she whispered in his ear as some of the people moved in for a closer look at the 'weirdo' on the bench.

Nalik's eyes flashed at the people; they backed up, seeing the danger in getting any closer. "We can return to that glade I showed you earlier," he suggested. "There's room to train there, and I won't have to wear my cloak and hood." Without waiting for an answer he headed off toward the glade, not caring if she kept a hold on his hand or not.

Nalik moved quickly and Kiri relented and calmly jogged beside him. "Jeez you have long legs, if this is walking you must be a fast runner." she said, breathing hard as she picked up her pace to follow. She sighed with relief when they made it to the station. Sinking into the padded chair she glanced out the window as the train car jolted and started to move. The glade might have some bad memories but that didn't mean they couldn't make some new ones.

"Run? Oh no, I sprint," Nalik said, sitting next to her. "If I need to move, I move as fast as I can. As a result my walking is a little fast." He shrugged, glancing at her. He smirked. "Maybe you're just short," he teased, placing a hand on her head. "After all, you only come up to my shoulder." He glanced out the window as well, watching the scenery p*censored*. The glade would be a good place to read some day, when he didn't have to kill for a living...

Morana was bored she must admit... it was then another messenger startled her, causing her to jump. She stood up and read the note. "I need you to take care of someone... Adim Surely (another made up name)...please have it done by 8:00 pm tonite." again the note was unsigned... she flipped the note..."6000 bounty." she breathed...kind of cheap for what she was usually paid when attacking high officials but it was still a lot of money. She stared at Revin, hoping the others would be back soon

Revin';s eyes fluttered open when he ehard the bird. He realized that most of the poison had disappeared from his system and his wounds were now healed. Slowly he sat up, wincing at the stiffness in his body. The last effects of the poison was stiffness. He threw his legs over the couch and silently walked over to Morana. He saw the note, reconized the sc ript, and smiled. "Seems Ranger's been made the mailman this week." he said in a slightly raspy, if not stiff, voice.

Revin made Morana jump. "Feeling better I hope?" she asked with slight confusion in her voice. "And what are you doing standing? sit down, before you fall over or something, and I do not want to be responsible for that." she joked slightly. "Ranger...?" she questioned

Revin grinned at her, but it was a humorless grin. "I'm fine. just a bit... Okay, really stiff." he said, stretching his back and muscles. "Ranger is one of the minor a ssa ssins that works at the HQ. There are over 50 minor a ssa ssins that work their. Ranger happens to be the closest minor a ssa ssin to middle cl*censored* a ssa ssin. He's never had mail job so I bet he's icked right n ow." Revin laughed dryly.

“Well it’s not my fault I’m short, I was born into a stubby family.” she joked back. It was nice being with Nalik, she knew it was all right to let her guard down since his was always up, she felt safe with him. “Then again we both are weird, height seems to be no exception.” she smiled, hopefully this wouldn’t be like their last date or even their semi-date at his house when Revin showed up. They seemed to be growing quite a track record.

"Weird? Nah, I'm flat-out strange," Nalik said. "I mean, first I live my life like emotions are poison, and then the incident happened and now I'm joking around." He shrugged, standing as the train slowed. The woods seemed a lot nicer today than they had earlier, on their first outing. Naturally he didn't think of this as a date. "I don't have any bad feelings about today, so I'm sure we can relax fully."
