"No, I never had acne," Nalik said quietly. "At least the big ones are gone." He reached a hand up and traced a hidden one that still remained; it ran all the way across his face. "I knew my trainer wasn't human. Whatever scar is left on my body was created by something magical. The ones on my face, though, a lot of them are from training." He held her gaze, once more retaining that guarded and blank look. [Back, but tomorrow I leave for three weeks...]

"Hey, It's alright now. Your a top notch as.sas.sin, you don't need any more training. Whatever they did, it worked. You are one of the best." she coaxed gently, she had to get him out of his shell. When he wasn't worried his personality really shone, she needed to get that back. "I promise when this is over we'll take a break from all this...I mean if you want to with me." she stumbled over her words, suprised at herself at the preposition she had just made. |

Nalik sighed softly and rested his forehead against hers. "As much as I'd like that, I'm not sure I can," he murmured. "I'd get too paranoid. Honestly, I get paranoid when I have a few days without work." He smiled a bit. "But maybe I can work out of that paranoia, I'd like to spend more time with you." [Yeah, I know. D:]
