Maya trudged to school, thinking about breaking out and practicing witchcraft by herself. "I don't want to go to school anymore." She huffed rebelliously. As Maya approached the school, she paused. "Hrm... They allow pets?" She wondered, taking out her black chalk that she always stored in her pocket. She drew a pattern on the ground, and stood up, muttering a few words. From the circled pattern, a ghostly wolf with black soulless eyes rose, eyeing her expectantly. "Ah, Firenze." Maya murmured to her familiar, and he gave a happy bark, wagging his tail. "You're not technically a pet, anyway." Maya patted his head. The two set off to the school, and Maya noticed two people she knew sitting on the stairs. "Max! Midnight!" Maya called, waving her hands. Firenze tilted his head to one side and panted, racing up to them and plopping down. Maya caught up and sat one step below them. "It's good to see you two again." Maya grinned. |
